First time I saw any of the actual band members was from the K Pitt session and he's wearing a cool Puerto Rican flag shirt and I was just like fuuuuck yessssss
I rarely write comments. But this interview/podcast was one of the most touching. The sacrifice, the determination, the music. FFAA deserves the respect and the recognition because of all of those things in my opinion. All of those stories that Pat told really hit me because, as a begginer artist, im starting to get those struggles. Big love to FFAA, their team and crew! Thank you all, great people, for who you are!
Gotta be honest here, I'm not really into FFAA but I still sat and watched the full thing. I've come to the conclusion that there's no denying that each of these guys are sincere, hard working, passionate, and genuine. And for that, I'll forever have respect for these guys! What an phenomenal episode. Garza is the best!
Fucking love these dudes probably one of your best podcasts you’ve made they couldn’t be a better representation of metal heads than Garza himself! Stay brutal my dudes
Watching this from the Dominican Republic! just proud about Josean and what he has accomplished as a fellow Latino and the band as a whole. Hope we could get to see bands like FIT or SS, Lamb Of God and such here in my country 😪but there's no market for heavy music at all, meaning we have to travel abroad to see our dream bands. Great podcast overall, keep the good work Garza!.
I remember seeing these dudes on tour with Fallujah and Aegaeon. After the show, I had the opportunity to hang out with Josean while he was there, "fill in drummer". We exchanged phone numbers and kept up over the years. So fucking awesome to see him as a permanent member of one of the biggest bands in the game! The dude is awesome.
This helped me a lot. I started selling my own art this year. Hearing these guys breakdown how long they grinded before recognition definitely let me know I was on the right path.
i was only recently introduced to ffaa when they played with in flames back in september and i was super impressed by their sound and stage presence. killer band and they seem like a bunch of really cool dudes.
Great interview! PAT- If you remember letting a small lad on stage to hold your guitar after the show in Memphis, TN in Jan 2022- that was my son Michael and he still talks about that to this day. What a bad ass moment! Thank you
This is one of the joyous and fun pods I've watched in ages. Absolutely heartfelt, awesome and just fucking cool. This is why I go to every Fit show in London, this is whyI buy multiple shirts everytime even though I don't have the space for them. I adore this band and them as people. Can we also acknowledge Blue for being utterly hilarious too?
This podcast is so underrated, this is by far one of your best ones. Holy shit it was so good it really really made me think about my life. Thanks so much for having them on man.
Black Mammoth moves me to tears. It is one of the most powerful metal songs of all time. I saw FFAA in Manchester with Whitchapel and Thy Art and they are incredible live. Great band, good dudes.
Listening to this podcast very late, as a fan of the band I have to say that this was very very special! The section on 44:53 - Gaining New Perspectives Through Traveling the World was absolutely amazing!!! This perspective means everything, you guys have won my heart once again!!! Much love from Barcelona!!!
i never really get into their music, but these people are the best human, im very impressed by their humanity, def gonna check out their music, such a good episode and youre doing a great job hosting the show as always Garza, keep up the good work man, this is so so good, i feel very inspired, love from TAIWAN!
Thank you to FFAA for getting me through some hard times. Thank you to all the family members behind the scenes that help make this all happen. The domino effect is real. You guys do so much more than play/write music. Thank you thank you 🙏
I remember seeing ffaa at spot shortly after hellbound dropped and meeting nate was iconic to me, josean had been new to the band and his english wasnt the best but he had this contagious ambition and watching them play back then to now is so much growth in not only songwriting but as people
Met These guys in Australia on the Oh what the future holds headliner. Wouldn't of missed it. Had moved house that day and had a family tradgedy and got down for the direct support and Fit. Met Pat and Joe and Patrick. Both so nice but my conversation with Patrick with so genuine and nice and we had an amazing talk. He is tje sweetest person I've ever met. And so good live. I absolutely love FFAA and so happy There starting to pop. Love the guys ❤❤ Patrick is honestly the best person ive met.
My favourite listen so far. Tremendous respect especially goes to Pat. Never knew about the off-the-stage lifestyle personally and as a young father myself, and a musician... a real eye-opener, you have truly inspired and motivated me. I feel revitalised and I am deadset going to give this music thing one more proper shot! Great as usual Garza, thoroughly enjoyable podcast.
Hey man I just wanted to say thanks for this podcast. Every episode is so intriguing and it’s like a mini music doc every time. This also has become a comfort show for me when I’m having high anxiety. So thanks for all that you and your crew do man.
Saw these dudes back in Jan 2022 at St Paul, MN and had a genuine talk with Pat about my favorite song by them, Black Mammoth. Being native and seeing the band perform the song meant the world to me, also while trying not to die in the pit bc I'm short lol. It was so hard to not cry talking to Pat about it post show for that brief moment lol. An amazing group of dudes playing heavy music and doing what they love. 🤘
Thank you for always having amazing guests and awsome , real life convo. This style podcasts are what is missing in podcasting. A breath of fresh air in that sence. So thank you for this.
Saw em with Darkest Hour, Undeath supporting Exodus at House of Blues. Undeath killed it. Darkest Hour rhythm guitarist owned that stage. Fit brought some new guitar tones that were badass.Glad to have the opportunity
Chris, I LOVE your podcast! This is the second episode I‘ve seen! The first was with Travis Ryan! These are so deep, informative, emotional and even funny! Thank you thank you THANK YOU for doing this podcast!!!
Great way to end the birthday 👍🏼 been a fan since AHAH and even more so when I found out they’re also from JC (or at least originally based out of here). Been a great journey seeing their evolution over the years. Great pod as always Garza. Also would be dope to see Will Putney on here at some point.
These dudes are great! I love how humble and real these guys are. I cant express my appreciation for this band. They have influenced me and have motivated me to take my guitar play more serious. And because of that I have grown as a player and pushed my self past what I ever thought I could do. They have taught me to work outside my comfort zone and my playing reflects that. It has help me mentally, to not feel like a failure my family always told me I would be, and make my dreams come a reality. So if this one day reaches one of you guys please know you are an awesome group of guys to follow and you've helped in my life more than you can ever know. Please don't ever stop what you are doing. You show that there can be a suite and tie professional death metal band. \m/
These guys are peaking rn….absolutely killer live band seen them in April and they destroyeddddd can’t wait for a new album cuz the last one is just so damn good…new song Hellions is a straight banger keep the sickness going stoked for another tour hopefully headlining thanks for the great music FFAA rules
I have so much respect for this band. Especially Pat. What a stand up dude. Great interview, Chris. Keep them coming. Also, I feel you.on the be coming a dad part. I think I'm ready for it myself. Good luck brother.
Saw them in St Louis with Signs of the Swarm, Enterprise Earth, Great American Ghost and Ingested 5 days after their latest album dropped and I will remember that night forever. Wish I could've said hey to all those guys but my brother and I got to talk to Joe and he's such a cool guy, always waiting for more.
Hey Joe Bad! I did crossfit in the pit to your entire set!! We talked about it afterwards lol Great to see yall getting so much press and exposure!! FFAA fuckin ruuuulessss
Love FFA! Met them in Wiesbaden Germany a few years ago opening for Architects. Such nice guys and glad to see how they have grown over the years. Look forward to seeing them again with Thy Art is Murder, Whitechapel and Spite!
Hi Josean. You were given a crazy ability from God! That’s awesome. I’m from nyc and i head bang at the gym and pretend to play guitar but I don’t know how to lol
Id argue that keanu reeves is the coolest Canadian movie star. The guy is so chill he rides the damn subway with regular folks. And he was the fucking one, which ironically is you switch around the letters in the one you get Neo.
As a fellow Puerto Rican, the drummer made me proud. The grind and perseverance is top notch.
La Brega is real, lol
Josean is an absolute beast and beautiful human
Same brotha very inspiring 🤘🏼🍻
First time I saw any of the actual band members was from the K Pitt session and he's wearing a cool Puerto Rican flag shirt and I was just like fuuuuck yessssss

Joe Bad is one of my favorite vocalists, and Fit For An Autopsy is a gem of a band.
"John Wick is a deep movie" is the greatest quote of all time.

Thank you all, great people, for who you are!
I like how Garza barely had to ask any questions 😄
Gotta be honest here, I'm not really into FFAA but I still sat and watched the full thing. I've come to the conclusion that there's no denying that each of these guys are sincere, hard working, passionate, and genuine. And for that, I'll forever have respect for these guys!
