I live by the Maumee river. It’s well known for walleye fishing, but it has a very diverse ecosystem. I’ve caught large mouth, stripped bass, and catfish in it. Can you do a series showcasing the challenges of fishing for bass in a running river with muddy water?
Today I caught my first crappie using your technique of jerking the rod. Literally on my first cast I caught it. We love your videos and know that you should come fish the Tennessee River in Scottsboro, Al. We love Sylvania Lake in Sylvania, Al and know you should try your rod there. Tyler its small towns in Alabama, but you would love it, man.
Would love to hear back from you Christylp1105@gmail.com. I'm watching your RUclips video now. My husband and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary this weekend and spent our trip in Georgia, and still watched your videos. Thanks for all you do. Good luck fishing.
That was by far the best hair jig video i have seen so far, i am on youtube every night trying to learn different techniques and tips to catch more bass. A guy in our club makes his own hair jigs and they are awesome and cant wait to throw them. A video idea i would love to see and so would a lot of other guys is for you to do your kayak fishing in smaller, shallower and heavily weeded waters like we have on Long Island NY. I am talking like max depth of 9 feet with average of 5 feet and pretty much choked out with pads and grass....keep up the great work.
Good video. I know it’s 3 years old but after years of doing this I have the rods you need. A Chris Johnston Tatula, a 901+, or the MB Flyssa. I prefer the Daiwa but any are just killer. If you want a multipurpose for also tossing a spybait get the Flyssa. 6 pound X Braid and a 5/6 LB Leader.
Hello there, This is for my Son Grant who is almost 13. He enjoys your videos. He would like to a video on Catch and Cook, such as Bass and Crappie. Thank you from a mother's heart that you make content that is clean, informative, and interesting.
Thank you Tyler for putting out such amazing content! I’ve been following you for awhile now and seriously enjoy watching your videos. But mostly. You spread the word of GOD. Thank you. Idea: run through of all Seagar types of lines, how to use them/ where to use them/what to use them on.
Video Idea: Flow chart of similar lures or lures with transferable skills to help new anglers identify what might be an easy technique for them to learn next. For example, if a new angler has confidence throwing a weighted texas rig on the bottom, maybe a swim jig would be an easy bait for them to pick up to target bass that arent right on the bottom, and from there a chatterbait/spinnerbait, to a buzzbait for top water. I'm sure a lot of people have confidence in one specific bait but don't know where to turn when conditions aren't quite perfect for that bait but they want to do something similar! Email: Reply to this comment (I'll get a notification) and I'll get you my contact info. Just don't want it floating around the internet for anyone to see :)
Thanks for the chance Aftco and Tyler. Video idea - gathering information and decision making procesd while on the water to developing a pattern . Thanks in advance T
Ok, here's the video idea. You come up to Indiana. We fish 3 different bodies of water. 1. Shallow dirty reservoir. 2. Large seasonal and moderate clarity reservoir. 3. Clear natural lake. The kicker is you gotta use my 1983 bass boat without spot lock and power poles. It has basic fish finders. You can show how us how folks can find fish, and catch them in all 3 water conditions in the middle of the summer with average budget electronics. It could be a 3 part series. PM me if you're interested. I'm also a golf pro so I could take you and give you some lessons while you're here.
Nice, thanks for sharing... I had an order for AFTCO & you saved me a few $$$. I hope to get to Michigan again this year to get on some Smallmouth. 🍺🎣🍺🎣🍺🎣
Video idea of you fishing in the rain - talk about how it changes things, show how you're breaking it down, essential gear and lures you are now turning to and why. I know you have the rain/after rain video but I'm talking of actually fishing in the rain, not trying to fish after a storm and the water is blown out.
@@TylersReelFishing I mean how it changes things during the rain while you're fishing. Not how it changes after the rain. My before comment still stands as your video was after the rain and fishing, not showing and explaining of fishing in the rain itself - those are different experiences and you're going to throw different lures. You aren't going to frog as much during rain or downpour as you would after.

Tyler, the new Curado BFS can cast super light lures better than my spinning setup with similar rod acrion... Odd how it works. I always had it in my mind that spinning will always outcast a baitcaster but this new reel changed my mind drastically! Love your videos.
It would be cool to look into the history of the hair jig. Go back to the float and fly / tipping a jig, for bass and crappie and trout fishing with it.
my hair jigs are spent after like 2 or 3 fish but I been throwing the cheap ones. do the expensive ones last longer is it just my ape hands being too rough with em when I re-tie?

I agreed with almost everything except: -4000 size reel is best (3000 is ok too but not as good) -you can slap the line against the water if it’s bowed instead of reeling quickly ;-) -wind knots are caused by the line flipping across the top of the spool when the bail is flipped. Just making sure it isn’t like that before you start the retrieve will prevent 100% of wind knots. -6lb suffix braid is best for the main line -trd plastic isn’t good in that. Senko or salted plastic is. Need something that sinks and it’s pretty much used for casting distance. *Also, the FG knot is the best one for casting further. Everything else was spot on. :-)

you better make long casts - looks like you were fishing in 2-4 fow or so! Great video - how come you didn't endorse Feiders Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS ML spinning - I'm thinking about it, but it seems somewhat heavier than ideal.
