Seth is so chill, very informative, doesn’t sound like a commercial and is always fun to watch. I have used Maribou, rabbit, etc since I was a kid. Great bites. Long live Feider! Keep being you.
What's not to like? They're dominant performers in the types of lakes Feider mentions in this video. That could change in a few years if they get conditioned to them.
Take a pair of pliers, pinch the hook is for close to the head as you possibly can, and slowly been that hook backwards and down till the needle point is equal with the ice or a little bit lower. Now you can toss it in grass. It’s called the band back. If it’s done right, you have enough hair coming straight back to block the grass from the hook point enjoy.
About how far off the bottom should fish be? I tried this bait today with no success but I hadn't fully watched on where to fish it... northern Oklahoma lakes is where I'm fishing it
Enjoying the content. I just picked up the Chicken. Excited to try it out. What’s your line set up? Straight braid or braid to floro leader. Can I fish the chicken in grass or hard bottom. Thanks!!
Bass are not the only fish to hit the chicken! big kitty cats love it! Bluegill love it! Striper! Sand bass! Walleye! Black bass! Perch will hit and hit hard! - Grandpa's go to

Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate the comment -- he's as real as it gets.
After the first fish The way the water came off the bait was soooo dope. Look like bait fish running!! Dope Video
Noticed that too!
If you tie your own, the best hooks I have found for this all the Bass pro enticer set.
Love a good late summertime hair jig bite on the deep bumps
Good stuff Seth! 👀 🎣 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the tips my friend!
My son has this technique dialed.he loves Seth's hair jigs
That's excellent to hear. He's ahead of the curve!
I can't wait to use this lure. The slow fall is a game changer for me.
It's a go-to for Seth and our staff has had excellent success with this tactic too. Definitely an overlooked option for northern bass.
The big man again 🤙🎣🔥
Gotta love it!
I’m a believer of the outkast chicken jig, caught a few 4-5lb here in mn and it’s my go to big fish lures
Thanks for sharing BassCHASER.
Damn, you boys are awfully proud of those things. I'll strike to marabou jigs.

Can we all take a hot minute to appreciate the water drop affect from the cast at the :48 second mark..? damnnn.
I seen that... it's really slick!
im gonna have to try this at my lake. i know the big bass hangs out deep around 30-40ft deep. this should be a good lure for them.
Good luck!
Fieder man with the chicken is deadly

Talks about 40lb braid - but at 6:15 he holds it up and its a clear floro line - unless I missed a spot where he said he ties a floro leader?-
Around the 3:30 min mark and a bit later

What's the name of the jig? And where can I buy some?
Outkast Tackle Chicken Jig
I wonder if this technique would work on Oahe
Do you think this would work in the Southwest?
Wish that one spot and nail 5+. I wish I could that

Largemouth and walleye in one spot
Hair jigs for snook... 😎
That is no lie! They work for a lot of different saltwater fish!
Jeez those jigs are expensive!
AND pike love 'em 😬.
Yea $15 for a jig is ridiculous.. no way I'll be spending that on something I can get for $4-5 pretty easy
Unfortunately that’s mainly cost, marabou and those giant jigs are spendy
