TylersReelFishing hi Tyler can you help me on my RUclips channel
Can u give me a shoutout I’m trying to get into RUclips
They're legit, I've had one for years now. It's worth it.
Any tips for using a swim jig in a pond with a lot of weeds?
Love your video’s. Always learn alot
Master Class!! One of the best teaching fishermen in the game! Great stuff T!! One of the things I love about fishing is I’m always learning new and better ways to catch fish!
I appreciate that buddy!
The football jig - deep water & displacing stuff on the bottom. A drag the bottom lure. A new insight for me. Thanks
once you get a feel for a jig they’re hard to beat
That’s so true
That is what I heard I have fished for years but just started lake fishing in August and just started jig fishing
I agree
I must be missing out. I’ve tried jog fishing a few times. But always went back to a lipless crank. I don’t know why. I can’t seem to have any luck with jigs
Theyre hard to get the hang I feel like. I kept using them and now I’m slaying with them, it definitely took some time tho its not the easiest imo
Thanks Tyler, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Having a box full of jigs is great, but knowing how to properly use all of them is really the way to go. Keep up the good work, and God Bless.
Thanks for watching!
Been fishing for almost 40yrs and still learning stuff from you. Great videos sir, keep em comin
Love to hear it!
Just discovered the finesse jig this year. Excellent description of the jig and how to fish it Tyler.
Nice timing, I just picked through about 4 of your videos looking for jig tips yesterday. Thanks for putting it all together!
Awesome man!
One of the best fishing channel. Tyler gets straight to the point without leaving out any important info.
Another very informative video Tyler👍 thank you. I had no idea there was different types of jigs. Now I know🤙 I think I’m going to give the swim jig a try.
Do it my friend!
So clear! Thank you , heading out tomorrow heading west on I 70. Stopping for sundown bites and sunup bites until I reach a Colorado trout River or not. Weather permitting and as I see fit. I’m fairly new but pretty old. Without a boat. Pointers always appreciated
Glad you’re learning Andy!
Thanks so much Tyler this video was super helpful I’ve been fishing the Arkie head and football jigs all wrong can’t wait to catch more fish oh them now👍🏻
Heck yeah will!
Thx Tyler for putting out I jig video! They are 🔥 🔥🔥
I caught the biggest fish of the year for me on a jig a few weeks ago. Love the vids Tyler keep em coming!
Awesome! Congrats bud
If you are bored like me here is a great recipe for a Beef Taco Skillet (it’s pretty good)
INGREDIENTS-
1 pound ground beef
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Tomato SoupRegular or Healthy Request® or Classic Tomato Soup
1/2 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
1/2 cup water
6 flour tortilla (6-inch), cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 2 ounces)
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
Step 2
Stir the soup, picante sauce, water and tortillas in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir the beef mixture. Top with the cheese. Enjoy!
Consider looking at my channel or dropping a like I do fishing videos and tips (jk you do what you want 😂 have a good day!)
Tacos and fishing tips? Subbed.
Lol thanks man 🙏
You're doing an excellent job in explaining these lures. I will surely use what I have learned from your vids. THX!!
I decided to finally commit and build some confidence with a jig this season and it has definitely paid off big time. Its like after getting my first bite on a jig, something just clicked and my confidence in them skyrocketed. Jigs definitely have a spot in my tacklebox.
Let’s go!! That’s exactly how it works with the jig
Your dad jokes are beyond your years! 😂 gettin jiggy wit it.
Haha I’m glad I’m not a dad yet
Hey Tyler, just got some in my MTB for the month never used so this video is awesome thank you!
Much appreciated videos. The different retrieves and the specifics of that retrieve are worth their weight in gold. Thanks tyler
I am glad you put this video out I have been wanting to try to fish with a jig but was I guess intimidated by them now I think I have a lil more understanding of them and can't wait to fish some as soon as I purchase a few lol

Great video, Tyler! Thanks for the quick tips and info as usual!
Thanks for watching brad!
Really awesome video man! Love your videos they're very educational and are great for young anglers like me. It's awesome having a RUclipsr legitimately just teach, and not just promoting their own baits non-stop. Keep up the great stuff.
That’s what I’m here for!
I new to bass fishing and tyler has taught me quite a lot keep up the good work Lil bro
I’m so glad!
Great instructional video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching bill!
Consider myself a versatile bass fisherman, full on undying passion for fishing but the jig is one lure that has kind of intimidated me, I wont lie, and it's one I have tended to shy away from ans avoid throwing. Today that changes thanks to another concise, helpful and informative video from you Tyler! Thanks!
Can you recommend some places in the U.S. where I can purchase those fantastic baits?
Great video 👏👏
One thing I have had success on a swim jig is retrieve it like you do in shallow water and kill it over the deeper weed edge. They pound it on the fall too
Realy enjoyed your video. Very good explanations , One of the best i have ever watched. Thanks, Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks so much art!
I love jig fishing awsom vid tyler
that song took me back to middle and high school...LOL Great video bro. Jigs are my least confident bait, but I am going to try and use some of these tips and tricks as i get back on the saddle here in Kentucky. Keep it up bro!!
Great video Tyler 👍🏼

I always wanna cover ALL parts of a fishing technique
You are always very informative. Love your videos.
Thanks for watching Larry!
really helps thanks. My brother always uses jigs but i have only caught a couple on one but this still really helps.
I’m glad!
your video's made me a better senko angler! thanks! however, I can't seem to catch a fish on my swim jigs. probably because I tried using swim jigs at the beginning of fall. I live in the northeast.

Ooooo this video is gonna get tons of views I can feel it, great video tyler!
Let’s hope so!
It's been my mission the past couple seasons to get a feel for fishing a football jig but I never seems to dedicate enough time to it. What do you think is the best time of year to throw the football jig? I'm in Northern Illinois so very similar weather patterns to Minnesota but our winters aren't quite as harsh.
Up here in Michigan I really like the chatter bait in the fall! But I do own 1 swim jig maybe that would be good too!
👍🏼
For a baitcasting combo would the lews mach smash work for jig fishing?
Thanks. Great info! I’ve been fishing my jigs all wrong🤦🏼
Great video! On your swim jigs, do you put your trailer on where the tail is vertical versus horizontal?
I talk about that in the video linked in the video description
That was a helpful video.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome video
Gettin jiggy wit it! Lol. Ur awesome
Lol, I was like you, not a fan of jigheads and spinnerbaits but have seen the light. I am learning how to use a greater diversity of tools in tackle box.
That’s great!
Yeessss i love jig vids pls giv me more
Exactly presented in joe to use jigs . 🤠The Old Michigan .
Arkie salty crawlin' grubs is a really good jig or creature bait. Easy to insert a jig or worm rattle in it. Very successful with them.
Thanks Tyler I used a jig today on Watts Bar lake in TN a d caught my personal best. 5lb 9oz
So cool!
Your casting is extremely impressive
Great video .you explained that perfectly ,keep up the good work. God Bless
Thanks fake watching!
Seamed pretty real to me i dont comment unless i watched it .
Heck yeah Tyler!!! 👊
Today in my head I thought I should look up how to fish a jig. And this came up in my recommendation. This is a perfect title 👍🏼
Awesome! So glad!
Really like your fishing tips. I would suggest that you include a word on the type of line and pound test for each bait type. Keep the tips coming.
I do that in some videos, just hard to remember everything. General rule of thumb for jigs through is 17lb fluoro
Love the music choice!
Tryna make some bangers over here
I just recently purchased a jig. Never really used one before. Hoping to learn how to use it this season of fishing.
I think you will! Check out my other videos I made on the jig, especially the one about a month ago. I think it will help you out a lot
@@TylersReelFishing so I purchased a swim jig due to all of the vegetation in most of the small ponds and reservoirs around me. Should I have purchased a slower jig? Most of the bottoms are muddy here in Northwest Ohio.
Gettin’ jiggy with it! 😂 I’m here for the pun
Now I know what to buy. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Shop using those links in the video description if you can!
Thanks James bond the man with the plan you teach my old ass how to fish still lol great vids
I caught stubborn bass on a mini footballjig and i was blown away because I had been fishing that area with swim baits and other craw soft baits.. threw one on and they started coming out for it and caught two back to back till they caught on
That’s awesome!
I thought I was using my jig correctly and I wasn’t catching anything. After the video I adjusted my technique and started catching huge bass. I tip my hat to you Tyler 👍🏼🎣
Glad it helped!
Such a dork I love you buddy God bless you
I am no good at jig fishing so this video was FIRE
YUHHH
I like your videos!
Song choice aged really well! Chef's Kiss!
Every time I see a video about how awesome swim jigs are I think to myself... "dangit, I really need to embrace the swim jig!" and then for some reason, I don't. I'm going to make an honest attempt to throw it till I get some fish on it this time.
This was a truly excellent video. Possibly one of my favorites from you. Nicely done!
Thanks Nathan! Just COMMIT
Okay I have a question for you. I have a ark tracer 7ft medium heavy fast acting pole . Will have baits caster on it . What kind of line would you suggest on using for jig and crank bait.?Don’t really want to keep changing out line . The reel is 8.1.1 . Would like to use it for top water as well . [ whopper plopped }. Also have a medium light rod that’s 6’10” . Would like to use it for Texas rig and smaller lures . Will be fishing around 5-30 feet deep at times .
15lb Seaguar Invizx
Hey @tylerreelfishing have you tried the “One Cast Fishing” - Snagless Jigs? I’d like to see your opinion on these jigs. They have no weed guards, they are on a ewg hook. If you get the chance tells us what you think? Thanks for all that you do!
Just checked em out. I could see the benefits, but I also see one glaring downside, which is that the bait is resting above the hook, which will cause it to turn over on it's side on the bottom. I like a jig, because the trailer is on the bottom with the shank of the hook, allowing it to rest flat on the bottom. I could see the hookup ratio actually being worse on the snagless jig than a normal jig
Great video. As always, I learned a lot. I’m going to make my best effort to actually do some jig fishing this year. I made the commitment and bought a bunch of them a couple months ago. I’ve always been sort of intimidated by them. After watching this video for the 4th time, it’s time I started. Your dad jokes are on point. Lol
John 3:36
You got this!
