This is a great example of effective CRM, training, and exceptional pilot skills. Congratulations and happy holidays!
Thank you very much! Happy holidays and all the best for 2024!
Picture perfect professionalism. That go-around almost felt like this was simulator training and that landing, floated just enough to keep stable!
Thank you very much!
This Captain and FO have swagger. I love the calm, calculated attitude, the masterful execution, and the style of these men. Inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it!

Amazing landing! awesome to see
Thank you very much!
Your videos wonderfully capture the essence of dynamics and motion. It's impressive how you've managed to record the sounds of cockpit due to turbulence, adding an extra layer of realism to your work. I think your style is quite unique and engaging. Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you very much for your great feedback and kind words! Glad you liked it! Best regards from Germany!
Very nicely done! Love the camera set up showing the gust and wind corrections
Thank you very much!
Excellent job . That’s what pilots are paid for : taking the safest decision and respecting the procedures .
Well done
Thank you very much!
Vielen Dank!
Excellent CRM and Flight Deck Procedures , happy holidays my friend 👋🙏🤗🙌🎄
Muchas gracias, amigo! Feliz Navidad! 🙏🎄
Butter landing, great video, thank you for the quality content!!
Thank you very much!
zero hesitation. amazing, respect to the training. 2nd landing ... just amazing.
Thanks a lot!
Absolute amazing, that's the most intense approach ever with a greaser of a landing to boost. Hats off to the captain, amazing skills and calmness in the most turbulent approach I've seen.
Thanks a lot! Best regards and wishes for 2024!
You call that a greased landing? Not in my book. He landed long and had to make too many corrections at the last minute to keep it on the centerline. I'll take and ATR any day over one of these bouncing Betty's.
@@JuanSanchez-ik7wx What is the alternative? Less than required inputs? Landing was on CL and in TDZ.
@@PilotWanderlust Whats the alternative? How about putting it down on the numbers and lining up. If he had AP engaged then he should have taken over. If he didnt have AP on then he should have. This was far from a commendable touchdown. I think new piliots dont even know what a perfect landing is anymore.
@@JuanSanchez-ik7wx Well, I‘m in my 40s and approaching 20years in aviation flying jets… 😀
I love how there's no "Oh shit what do we/I do now" moment here lol. Immediately TOGA
Thank you!
Absolutely wonderful work! Calm, no hesitation, pure knowledge and experience! Well done
Thank you very much!
Nicely Done! What a challenging landing but that's for sure fun!
Thank you very much!
Vielen Dank! Schönes Wochenende!
Amazing ! Never stop posting, the quality is amazing !
Thank you very much!
Merci!
what an amazing Video. Within my top 3 for sure. And what a skilled landing 👏👏👏 Would have been great sitting with you in the cockpit

Thanks a lot! Merry Christmas! 🎄 🙏
Nice wind-shear go around action. You did your thing after 500’!
Stayed calm and didn’t let the plane fly you.
Thank you very much!
Did I hear someone say “butter” after touch down? Beautiful landing.
Thank you very much!
Love your style Captain! Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you very much!
The composure though. Great approach and landing captain. Hope I’ll be able to do the same after my type rating❤
Glad you liked it! Wish you all the best for your type rating!
What a landing. Congratulations!

Great leveled touchdown!
Well done.

Great performance !

I asbolutely love the screaming of the egines after setting TOGA thrust. Great and professional handling Captain, thank you so much for this footage! Was Pack1 Inop or is there any other reason to switch it off?
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you very much! Correct, MEL item.
Mega performt! :-)
Vielen Dank! Das war mit einer GoPro 11.
Wonderful approach, nice handling and an awesome de-crab maneuver before touchdown. Merry christmas and a good start into 2024. Many thanks for the amazing content!

Vielen Dank! Frohe Weihnachten und alles Gute! 🎄
Pretty impressive video, showcases the turbulence on approach and the predictive windshear alerts. Happy New Year from SIN/WSSS
Not to mention so many things observable upon MAN TOGA, such as AP2 automatically disconnecting leaving AP1 still active, APPR button automatically turns off, AP flying the SRS, etc. Very cool!
Thank you! Happy New Year!
Exceptional pilots.

Well done man, deep respect!👏

Captain, I am following you from Turkey, you are very calm, you made a perfect landing in very windy and turbulent weather.
Merhaba! Thank you very much for your kind words! I have worked on a very special video from Turkey for a few months and I will upload it very soon… 🙂 Best regards from Germany
Great great video! it illustrates all I wanna be in life.
Thank you very much! Merry Christmas and purse your dreams!
WOW JUST WOW
Thank you!
Great video and subscribed....One little observation, near the end of the video at 9:40 Two of your 'next videos click boxes' popped up before you even touched down, which slightly spoilt the end. Maybe allow a few more seconds in future videos before eagerly wanting viewers to click another of your vids. 😉
Thank you very much for your feedback! Glad you liked it! 🙂
Amazing and great flying!!
Thanks a lot!
Amazing video!
Thanks a lot!
Sehr schön. Spannend, kein Drama, Professionalität, Tolle Perspektive.
Darauf folgt: Abo! :)
Vielen Dank!
something like this happened to me last week, the go-around windshear ahead alert sounded, and the captain decided to apply the windshear TOGA, although the FCTM specifies that you can retract the flaps, you can do either go around flaps or wind shear toga
Go around - flaps is correct and best option in case you enter a windshear shortly thereafter. I did realize a few seconds later and switched to a soft go around for clean up. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Best view of cockpit videos I've ever seen, nice handling of the aircraft, I just completed my 320 type rating, cadet pilot waiting to be inducted and start flying on this big boi haha. Cheers captain!
Cool, wish you always happy landings! Thank you and merry Christmas!
@@PilotWanderlust Happy landings and merry Christmas!
@@mountains_beaches98 Thank you!
Nice Landing
Learned so much from this
Thank you!
Flap 3 the second time was a sensible idea, engine mode selector to IGN is also a good option! I'll forever be baffled about the whole autothrust off thing, but hey, we can't all be German can we 😎
Good job, good video!
Thank you very much!
Bravo, I thought that second approach was fascinating to see...
Thanks a lot!
I love this sound go around Windshear ahed
Thanks for watching!
Surprising the airline lets you video record operations. Well done!
Fortunately! Thanks!
3 years operating at CGN and I know German storms perfectly. Normally the worst winds are on runway 24.
Thanks for watching and always happy landings!
This was a serious airplane wash!! Damn!!!! I wonder what kind of foam did they used??
Thanks for watching!
@@PilotWanderlust I was trolling but seriously, this video is really impressive! Thanks for sharing!
such a great video, i love the fact that you used soft go around without it being a feature on this specific airframe! thanks for sharing :)
A normal go around is SOP in this case. Had to reduce thrust quickly and simultaneously with asking for go around to prevent overspeed condition. Thank you very much!
@PilotWanderlust ah I see, I couldn't see the altitude but it makes sense if you were high :)
I haven’t noticed wind-shear, just a predictive warning, how ever thanks for footage.
Correct
WOW!
Thank you very much!
That was just amazing to watch. The amount of professionalism these pilots have is just crazy. Captain just wanted to ask a question in general, Is it like that someone will get bored of flying airbus and not boeing or its always the passion for flying that will make him keep going? Which aircraft will you suggest to get rated on and why (737 or 320)?
Depending on your country/continent of residence, in Europe there are more A320 than B737 operator and a rating on the A320 would make more sense. But besides that, I prefer Airbus because it is more comfortable in the cockpit. Best wishes
@@PilotWanderlust Thank You. Happy Landings..
@@VaibhavYadav-tt4qxThanks! 🙂
I absolutely love short final windsheer GO's (Was this using pre windshear GO operations or reactive windshear GO op's , sorry i forget the name of when your actually in the windshear- I just remember the A.O.A is extremely high with full TOGA power also)
Thank you! It was a predictive windshear warning. Best regards
Very nice Video and nice flying skills:) How much extra Fuel (in Minutes) did you have with you? I wish you nice holidays
Thank you very much! As far as I remember we had approximately 30 minutes extra on top to minimum diversion fuel after landing. Merry Christmas!
Amazing...I want to be a pilot too 😄
Great! Pursue your dreams!
when gpws says windshear u go toga and go around but do you fly over the shear or?
what altitude is the call out? does is say long before you enter it?
nice channel nice video!
Thank you very much! It is not a GPWS warning. It was a predictive windshear warning (PWS-weather radar) in approximately 2000 feet. Warning appears if windshear is detected ahead.
That has to be the craziest turbulence i've seen from a cockpit video.
Actually, the video is stabilized and does not transport adequately how it was in real but this way it is more pleasant to watch! Thanks!
Hey, great video! For which airline are you flying for?
Thank you! Eurowings.
I have a question (I don’t work in the industry, but enjoy/appreciate aviation). At the 2:50ish mark there is a dictated callout of “Go around windshear”. Is that the pilot, ATC, or an automated control from the computer because of conditions ahead?
Correct, predictive windshear system (weather radar) detected windshear conditions ahead.
trop fort !
Thanks for watching!
Could the autoland be possible in this circumstances? Does manual piloting provide quicker reaction and more safety in this case in comparison to automation?
Low visibility procedures must be in force and wind within limits to perform an autoland.
2:14 What was that camera view off on the System Display(?)?
The „cabin ready“ button was not pushed and we wanted to see if cabin is already seated.
nice vid. why is the bleed air off tho?
Thanks. Dispatch acc. MEL
Nice video. Just a question, why is the pack 1 off?
Inop, allowed to fly with one.
Thank you! Inop, dispatch acc. MEL
@@11clarkm Correct
Thanks for the answer :-)@@PilotWanderlust
@@FlySnivy You are welcome!
Dear Captain, what camera and lens?
GoPro 11. Thanks for watching!
I noticed pack 1 is off, why? Nice phone holder btw :)
Pack 1 inop, MEL item
0:50 the gear bay doors opening 😮💨
Thanks for watching!
This is why I pay a few hundred quid to travel.... id rather pay these guys to fly the plane than do it myself 😂
Thanks for watching!
Are you using manual thrust on the 2nd time? In case of yes, why is that sooo rare in Airbus? Thankyou all the best
Correct, most operators don’t allow manual thrust. Merry Christmas!
Predictive Windshear warning says „Go Around (windshear ahead)“. In would prefer a Go Around, in stead of a windshear escape maneuver (acc SOP) in order to perform a clean up and having a better performance during possible actual windshear.
This is correct, a normal go around is SOP in this case. Speed increased quickly and I asked for go around-flaps and simultaneously reduced thrust to prevent an overspeed condition. Have a merry Christmas!
Merry christmas to you too. Happy landings 😊
@@viermax Thank you!
daang, these two are ain't "rTards" !!!
Thanks for watching!
your gonna have to come up with another word because butter doesn't begin to explain that landing in those conditions
Thank you very much!
would be good to hear the communication between the pilots and the radio
Looks like it was puke day for the passengers
Thank you for your feedback!
looks like a lot of floating doing a very windy landing.
Thanks for watching!
What airlines is this and what airport?
EW / EDDK
lol the passengers in the back probably werent having a good time.
Unfortunately…
How does the plane know there is windshear ahead?
Function of the weather radar
A difficult approach, a difficult landing, congratulations. But I might have preferred to go around a second time.
Thanks for watching!
Why didn’t they record the wind shear alert?
There was only a predictive windshear warning at 02:38 and no reactive windshear warning.
