I use them on my cats and never had a problem. When I bought knock offs of seresto, that's when I had problems. Now I buy them at Walmart. Also, I had a cat that didn't react well to Seresto so I didn't make her wear it.

This collar sells worldwide and from what I understand the cases were in the US in 2016 (?). Apparently they bought counterfeit collars on dubious sites, because they are not cheap.

This collar is often counterfeited. The 2 active ingredients used in Seresto collars are also used in topical flea treatments.

I have two beagles and one mixed breed, each wearing Seresto collars for the past two months with no problems. We made sure to give plenty of neck space and check them weekly. Also, we have no small children to come into contact with the dogs. I applied Frontline Plus and other drops and they did not work and I can’t afford the vet’s prices. I will certainly pay more attention to my dogs’ health. They live inside because we have bears in our area, so I am in almost constant sight of them.

I've been using that caller on Marty for 3 years It's sad that it's happened but it's a risk you take maybe the dog was allergic to something in the collar you know Regardless it's still sad but you just can't say it was the color your dog could have been allergic to something you just didn't know that was in the caller

Agree they're fantastic and good for 8 months ..these collars are worth the money ..glad I bought them and will buy again.

I've been using them on my 2 cats without issue. These collars are often counterfeited, and I have to wonder how many of these problems are a result of fake collars. The 2 active ingredients aren't exclusive to Seresto collars, they're used in topical flea treatments, so why would these issues be exclusive to Seresto collars unless they're fake.

Had this collar on both my chihuahuas bought from Costco and one of my dogs suffered a severe reaction. I wouldn’t say allergic reaction but more like a severe chemical burn where the skin all the way around his neck where that collar had been melted leaving him in tremendous pain it looked like his throat had been slit and he had to stay at the pet hospital overnight and thank god he survived the ordeal but these collars are very dangerous. Too dangerous to risk letting someone’s pet go through that kind of suffering. Shame on you Bayer! No ny dog did not die but if that’s how you’re judging whether your product is safe and successful then you are really horrible people who only cares about making money and if a few pets die along the way oh well.

Buy in person at a pet supply store, don't buy online they're most likely fake knock offs ..Walmart has the lowest price for these collars and best return policy.

This is the first year I’ve used a flea collar and I start seeing these reports!!! I took it off my dog immediately! I’ve seen it suggested to use the winkflow waggie collar which I will try. The winkflow collar is essential oil based with essential oils that are not toxic to dogs (some essential oils can be toxic for dogs so do not just use them on dogs). Personally I have also noticed the Wondercide skin tonic spray does a good job repelling as well. I think that combined with the collars will be efficient enough but safe.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, do NOT put a flea collar on your dog or cat. Think about it this way, as soon as you do that pesticide is going onto the fur and into the blood and they are constantly breathing it in non stop, it WILL KILL THEM.

    Oh come on!
I’ve used seresto collars for both my cats and dog for years.
Vets here in the UK recommend it.
One of my cats is very sensitive to fleas and one flea bite can cause an allergic reaction resulting in a trip to the vets for steroids and antibiotics!
So I’m diligent about flea treatments.
We get allergies so how is a dog or cat any different!
    😩
