The message is not that though. "Take kids seriously because here's an anime where the kids are smart and they escape evil adults"? Uh that's more than half of all anime! You can easily make that point for half of cartoons in general.
Kids are naive, inexperienced, and uneducated on various things. But that’s all the more reason, why their input is valuable. They say things from an innocent, unbiased, untainted point of view, something that is practically impossible for adults who have seen a lot more.
I Can tell you that After being in an elementary School where everyone was getting beaten (i was held by 2 Guys while being punched many Times in the belly, i also was betrayed by a "Friend" who tried to strangle me) i got mature pretty fast and i was nothing anymore of what you Said (Naive, inexperienced and uneducated) don't make a generality on every kids please 🙏 (i'm not a kid anymore btw)

Well there‘s a lot more dramatic stuff in fiction i can tell you that. You may wanna tackle some of them once you‘re older though. Cause there‘s some deeply dark stuff out there. But also less hardcore nightmarish stuff as well that‘s still very clever and super interesting and meaningful. For examples of that check out Utena or Princess Tutu. Both seem pretty harmless on the surface but hold very dark and heavy aspects to them that may wow you just like this show does. For Utena it‘s themes of femininity in a ruthless man dominated world, finding your purpose and breaking the cycle of abuse by making a big sacrifice, and for Princess Tutu it‘s about escaping a terrible unfair seemingly inescapable fate just by trying again and again and finding ways to overcome things regardless of how slim the chances are. Although Tutu also has strong themes about how toxic and tragic childrens fairy tales are and how they don‘t work for anyone in reality and therefor should be revolutionized to be more accurate to actual real life relationships and bonds. Annd lastly another good one is madoka wich is a cute magical girl show on the outside with a disturbingly nightmarish doomed destiny trip down the dispair lane on the inside. But it‘s also about childhood innocence and young girls espwcially starting to see the cravks in what seemed like a fair and just world as they get themselves into fates such horrible and devastating that they spiral and break down as they cope with horrible events. But yeah. Check em out if you‘re interested. I loved them as a teen not gonna lie!

As a kid this is very true, I’m 12 and 1/2 and I never get taken seriously because of my age. There has been many times where I’ve been right and no one listened because they thought I was joking. For example, one time when I was 5 my mother’s.. friend.. was in our house for some reason. I told my mother that I heard someone heavily breathing, waking, and rambling through things. She didn’t believe me and said “Oh your little your just scared” After that I heard even more walking. Then right after one of my mother’s book fell off her bookshelf and it made a loud bang bc my mother reads long books and I heard someone say “Oh Sh-t..” I knew someone was there and my mother came running over asking if I was okay and I said “Someone’s definitely here!” and she said “Okay fine, I’ll prove to you that no one’s here.” So I pointed where I heard the noise and she said “Oh, over there? Yeah there’s no one but we can go check just to prove it.” So we walked over there and we saw my used to be mother’s friend. We both screamed and my mother and him got into a fight. After that she took away his keys and they stopped doing anything together. (Btw my mother gave him (her friend) the keys for some reason.)

The promised Netherland was an amazing anime with a different take on the typical action anime I have no words on how great it was and don’t understand why it got so much hate I will be watching season 2 and see how it goes. As a older child myself it was very relatable how children are not valued or heard and it truly is a celebration of how brave and smart these children were 💖

I actually really loved the promised neverland especially in the way it utilized colours particularly in the scenes inside the house. It sets a great mood that syncs perfectly with the story and the characters.
It's so messed up to me reading tpn when they are hunting animals and stuff and then are crying and saying how they don't want to be eaten as they are killing animals, they also stress in the manga that most of the demons are eating humans as rarely as possible to keep their sanity and yet the humans are making a fuss...
Ty for doing this with my favorite anime. I agree so much. As a kid I felt terrible getting bullied because they thought ‘oh you can’t watch anime so you can’t be our friend, you won’t understand us!’ I proved so many points to everyone and they didn’t believe me. That’s why it’s my favorite anime.
I love this message! People really have to realize kids are smarter then you think. I often avoid telling my age anywhere online because so many people will immediately say things like "cringe kid" or "give you phone back to your mom" after I say anything. I often alot argue with people online and so many people agree with me because I don't revel my age. It sucks to know most of the things you say will be taken as stupidity for being younger. I'm aware children can be less then wise when it comes to most, but that does not mean you can simply dismiss any child who tries to tell you something important...
Very true when I was 11 my mother would never take me seriously and I would get frustrated because of it like one time she said I stole one of her sentimental items when I didn’t this video just proved my point thank you for making it
6 years ago When i was 8 my sister keeps on vomiting on her bed and every part of the house, our parents said “She’s fine, it’s normal so don’t care too much about it.” but 2 days later it got even worse.. She’s vomiting blood now. But my parents still didn’t put her in a hospital.. 4 days later she died. We realized she have hematemesis for 6 days... She died of blood loss and stomachache.. R.I.P to my sister=(
I definitely feel the second message. My grandfather and I argue constantly, and even though I usually am proven right he still thinks of himself as smarter because he’s a scientist. It doesn’t matter if someone has 50 years of experience and two doctorates if they’re all in one highly specific field (marine toxicology), that doesn’t mean you have more general knowledge. Sometimes it takes the man 40+ minutes to order a pizza online, for example.

Lambda was created in 2035 Isabella dies in the manga There is a chance that Leslie and Norman are related but not father in son. Since sisters in the facility have at least 1 kid per year before becoming a mother, there is a really high chance Leslie has siblings, which may be Norman's mom. Norman's mom is named Matilda, Phil's mom is named Scarlett and Yvette's mom is named Jessica.

This point is carried when Sister Krone explains how the adults are trained into being lie detectors, martial artists, and nurses. These kids outsmarted adults that were trained with the threat of death.

I feel that no matter how proven it can be so many people will always look down to children because of their age. Kids know a lot more than you think- and are good at hiding it. Especially by each new generation.
For me, this anime shows me generational curses, and appeals to me very much. Coz like spoilers: The Mother in that maid outfit was also once part of the livestock of children, she was just chosen to do the picking of the next children, too, because if she doesn't she probably will be killed, doing what she thinks is right. She also tells herself excuses that it's just best for the children to die, not knowing theyre livestock and giving them the happiest life they could have because knowing and dealing with the truth of the outside world is painful etc. Also the fact that the kiddy livestock were tracked using chipped devices in their ears, it's like the representation to me that like adults can monitor or control ur actions with what they say or do stuff like that, yknow what I mean So as a part of a family with complicated problems, this anime at season 1 appeals to me very much
I feel like the show is also an exploration of innocence, and watching a child go from awaken to the lies of their upbringing to see the world as it truly is
Literally these kids: destroys the entire farm and saves others from an entire hunting ground, defeating the demon queen, and making a new promise after a thousand years Me as a kid: "I liek pink burds"

Dude personally I thought it was pretty obvious because the entire point is escape from this horrid world cloaked in sunshine with these kids Who have eventually outgrown the main bell curve of intelligence in this place
The message is not that though. "Take kids seriously because here's an anime where the kids are smart and they escape evil adults"? Uh that's more than half of all anime! You can easily make that point for half of cartoons in general.
"when your named Emma as well.."
Kids are naive, inexperienced, and uneducated on various things. But that’s all the more reason, why their input is valuable. They say things from an innocent, unbiased, untainted point of view, something that is practically impossible for adults who have seen a lot more.
not all kids
I Can tell you that After being in an elementary School where everyone was getting beaten (i was held by 2 Guys while being punched many Times in the belly, i also was betrayed by a "Friend" who tried to strangle me) i got mature pretty fast and i was nothing anymore of what you Said (Naive, inexperienced and uneducated) don't make a generality on every kids please 🙏 (i'm not a kid anymore btw)
@@breizhatao3561 I’m not generalizing kids, I’m mainly talking about those who have that ‘essence’ of what is considered a pure kid. I get you because I grew up with an anxiety disorder. I couldn’t speak to anyone I wasn’t fully comfortable with. I couldn’t eat in front of anyone at school, nor could I raise my hand just to go to the bathroom. Thanks to this, I experienced loneliness, and spent all my time simply watching people from the sidelines. I was already very mature at a very young age, and could understand what was happening around me all too well. I always regret that I never got to experience a happy childhood with friends and doing silly things like playing on the playground or going trick or treating together.
The ending of the manga is so sad yet so heartwarming when emma sacrificed her memory for everyone
Can u like pls tell me about this ending because i am not able to find the manga online
@@user-unknown3998 she made a new promise with I$@#&⁽( to bring all of the kids and moms I think to the human realm and he said yes in exchange for her most valued posession but she loved her family more than anything else in the world so he took away her memory of her family and she ended up at some man's house and he let her stay there until she got her memory back but she never did but she had this necklace that sometimes gave her dreams about them, but she couldn't remember it :( then 2 years later she met all the kids again at a fair and they had a really cool reunion and even though emma didn't remember them, she felt like she was waiting to see them for super long.then they hung out together at the end. :)

This anime gave me goosebumps-
Ecspessicaly when emma screamed after her leg broke 😭
As someone who used to be a kid,
I agree that sometimes kids can really be of good help
I always thought it was more drawing a parallel to grooming, child abuse, and what happens when it’s systemic.
Me too!
Yeah true
You mean they became self aware. Lol

Honestly I got that we should treat all people the way we would want to treat ourselfs and it gives us a look into why a cows life would be and forces u yo wonder about how others feel in their situations, but idk I’m a 15 year old weeb lmao
I'm starting to feel that That vegan teacher has a point....
I literally texted my friends about this the second I started watching it- I knew it wasn’t a coincidence!
I actually watch this anime when I'ma kid and I'm still traumatized after Conny's death

I love dark animes.i watched tpn and kny when i was nine and shadow house when i was 11( a few days ago)
Guys read the manga!! PLEASE! The anime didn’t cover enough details but the manga has more to cover and things happen differently than in the anime! I cried at the end so badly it’s just really good and I highly recommend!😭
Fr, the ending and Emma s fate was so sad, but at least she reunited with her family at the end
Thank you for finally recognizing that us kids aren't all idiots and actually just want to be treated respectfully when I talk
'Have you even not been taken seriosly because you were a kid?' That is what all adults except for my family and friends do to me.
If there’s anything to take from the promised neverland it’s how their outfits never get dirty. >:(
(This is of course a joke. Love the vid!)
Ikr that was a good message and there were so much more I keep hoping they will make another season or a movie about what happened and where they went after they escaped
Bro when my mans Phil had to be left behind for the plan to work his bravery legit broke my heart
I always just kinda thought it was about how even though they may seem nice , and you trust them, they may not be good people. Or how people you trust can still do very bad things
I never thought they would made this in anime version , but holy- it's so good 👀
As a kid this is very true, I’m 12 and 1/2 and I never get taken seriously because of my age.
Fact that kids with lower scored get shipped out earlier is a reference to the education system.
Why his Voice sound like His Nose Has something stuck in it 💀🙌
Same I wish they had part 3 I promise Neverland 😭😭😭😭
it should of just ended with season 1. would of been better
What anime?
@@rollzmomma the manga was good tho it has arcs and
Spoilers
Elizabeth die
And farms are canceled
There is arc called the goldy pond
The moment when they went to the humans world and more more was canceled from the anime manga is way better
Remember...if you say the kids are our future, then I recommend listening to them if they say something.
The message at the end really hits hard, especially for kids from old-fashioned families like myself who were invalidated/belittled simply for being younger, with no thought put in what we might've said and just assuming it was wrong/nonsense.
Damn this reminds me of the time when i think i was 5 or 6 when i knew the seniors who picked on the kid but the teachers wouldn't believe me
Both are great interpretations. Though it’s a little sad to hear that most don’t see the vegetarian one
I disagree, the characters literally eat meat lol
The promised Netherland was an amazing anime with a different take on the typical action anime I have no words on how great it was and don’t understand why it got so much hate I will be watching season 2 and see how it goes. As a older child myself it was very relatable how children are not valued or heard and it truly is a celebration of how brave and smart these children were 💖
This is one of the best shows I've ever watched.
So you're telling me if we teach pigs algebra my bacon will taste even better?
This sounds like a case against vegetarianism
this show was one of the reasons i became vegetarian. it made me rethink a lot of things about my already very tought out diet. and it also has an amazing story and characters. truly beautiful
I actually really loved the promised neverland especially in the way it utilized colours particularly in the scenes inside the house. It sets a great mood that syncs perfectly with the story and the characters.
Her lullaby is so calming, even though the connotations are horrible.. it’s so sweet.
I completed The Promised Neverland today and I am now it's fan ❤️
I love this message! People really have to realize kids are smarter then you think. I often avoid telling my age anywhere online because so many people will immediately say things like "cringe kid" or "give you phone back to your mom" after I say anything. I often alot argue with people online and so many people agree with me because I don't revel my age. It sucks to know most of the things you say will be taken as stupidity for being younger. I'm aware children can be less then wise when it comes to most, but that does not mean you can simply dismiss any child who tries to tell you something important...
The demons after losing food: *Devil may cry*
Very true when I was 11 my mother would never take me seriously and I would get frustrated because of it like one time she said I stole one of her sentimental items when I didn’t this video just proved my point thank you for making it
This video made me way to happy but it’s my favorite anime and seeing people actually talking about it fills me with joy :)
Me: showing this to my mom
I finished all the seasons of it my fav charecter is Norman and Emma
I'm glad The Promised Neverland is getting the recognition it deserves!!
All I think is the fact it was the first anime to make me cry
Norman 😭
GOD YOU'RE SO TRUE
i it feels so much more like that
Just like what the hero of our country, Dr. Jose Rizal said, and I quote, "The youth is the hope of our future."
I REALLY LOVE THIS STORY. LIKE REALY. I CRIED. AND I DONT MIND CRYING FOR A DOZEN MORE EPISODES OR SEASONS. PLEASE
I can’t wait for more seasons of the promised Neverland it’s my favorite anime
My 21 year old self reading this while my family doesn't take me seriously even now
6 years ago
When i was 8 my sister keeps on vomiting on her bed and every part of the house, our parents said “She’s fine, it’s normal so don’t care too much about it.” but 2 days later it got even worse..
Bro was bullied on the Xbox 360 when he was 10 and he never forgot the gamertags
I’d say the bigger message behind the promised never land is to appreciate life no matter how insignificant that life may seem.
It's like screaming into the void, nobody will respond. Especially when asking for children to be taken more seriously.
Facts:
In the manga there is a special side story where it reveals Emma, Norman, Phil and Yvette's Mothers.
There is proof that Conny was Norman's sibling.
Lambda was created in 2035
Isabella dies in the manga
There is a chance that Leslie and Norman are related but not father in son. Since sisters in the facility have at least 1 kid per year before becoming a mother, there is a really high chance Leslie has siblings, which may be Norman's mom.
Mother's aren't suppose to cry during shipments so Isabella sings that song to calm her.
Emma's mom is named Sienna. Norman's mom is named Matilda, Phil's mom is named Scarlett and Yvette's mom is named Jessica.
Story :
I discovered about these plastic eating worms in fourth grade, did experiments, researched, and made it into a project for a science fair. About 4 - 5 years later, people posted articles about "brand new" plastic eating worms, I dont even think they mentioned all the types, yet it saud fully grown scientists just discovered it, when I did as a child. I guess I should have made some online announcements about it or something. At least I got a good grade, and confirmation on it.
Personally (as a kid) i loved the show so much! I wish there was more
Me taking a kid seriously
The kid : I believe I can fly
I remember when I was like 5 I was in a car during a storm with my family and some of their friends. I saw a crane swaying back and forth and said “that crane is going to fall!” And everybody laughed at me.
The crane fell.
I’m sad
They left poor old Phil 😢
I’ve never even noticed how in the beginning Emma says “I’ll eat you” as to hint to the rest of the show omg..
This whole series... I just binge watched the whole thing... did any else like-cry after you found out Norman was gonna die? I was still crying 2 episodes after still🤧
This point is carried when Sister Krone explains how the adults are trained into being lie detectors, martial artists, and nurses. These kids outsmarted adults that were trained with the threat of death.
Because of this one short showing up while I was scrolling I, 1. Did not go to sleep, and 2. Went and watched the whole show. It nice, gets very sad though
Why Im I crying, why do I see my self in this story
he said to many words and this whole message went straight over my head…
When me and my brother were young our mum told us to keep checking on the food while she showered when me and my brother saw smoke and told her she said " It's just steem from the vegetables " but it was a fire in the kitchen we had to run out the house luckily she stopped the fire before our house burnt down
I loved the promised neverland and still do! It was my first anime and still holds 2nd place in my heart
I loved the promised Neverland. So many twists and turns. And the ending woah
I feel that no matter how proven it can be so many people will always look down to children because of their age. Kids know a lot more than you think- and are good at hiding it. Especially by each new generation.
Tbh I feel like Isabella planned this from the start. She knew her kids would surpass and make a run for it, that’s why they were so special
I just saw an amazing story with cool characters and an amazing art style
For me, this anime shows me generational curses, and appeals to me very much.
Coz like spoilers:
The Mother in that maid outfit was also once part of the livestock of children, she was just chosen to do the picking of the next children, too, because if she doesn't she probably will be killed, doing what she thinks is right. She also tells herself excuses that it's just best for the children to die, not knowing theyre livestock and giving them the happiest life they could have because knowing and dealing with the truth of the outside world is painful etc.
Also the fact that the kiddy livestock were tracked using chipped devices in their ears, it's like the representation to me that like adults can monitor or control ur actions with what they say or do stuff like that, yknow what I mean
So as a part of a family with complicated problems, this anime at season 1 appeals to me very much
I feel like the show is also an exploration of innocence, and watching a child go from awaken to the lies of their upbringing to see the world as it truly is
bro istg kids can have the best teamwork sometimes
Literally these kids: destroys the entire farm and saves others from an entire hunting ground, defeating the demon queen, and making a new promise after a thousand years
Me as a kid: "I liek pink burds"
And this video is why i just started watching tpn yesterday.
