I thought you just pulled the tip of the wire out and then spun the cylinder and it pushed itself out ?

Sometimes it comes out pretty easy. I’ve had a few fight me pretty hard. Pull the wire while someone spins the cap for you.

I don’t have a video of that but you can buy a new lock band. You hammer it back in and bend the end so you can grab it next time
