Really pleased for you that the piston job went well. You are never too old to learn new things, and have fresh experiences. Seeing your torque wrench brought back memories of going to Sao Paulo, Brazil to do a modification. I had sent a crate of tools and parts before I left the UK, including a 5' ( 1.5 metre ) torque wrench. An engineer from the company took me in the truck to get the crate from 'customs', all documents were stamped. However, the official at the 'customs' stated there was a surcharge to release the crate. The surcharge was paid, £15 roughly, which of course went into the guys back pocket. Well done just like watching Curtis

Great job! Nice to see you slingin’ chips! Your welder could use a rotary ground clamp from Kurtis at CEE. I’m sure he could give some advice if you run into any cylinder issues in the future… but you already knew that! 😉 Cheers! 🍻👍😊
Gday, one day I’ll make a rotary earth clamp when I find some brass the right size, appreciate you watching, cheers
Hey , good result . 👍

Matty that was very enjoyable and I learnt a lot. I'd never heard of a RUclips random comment picker - until today. Good luck with the next chemo. Regards Paul

Very nicely, and professionally done Matty, just missing the Kurtis out takes, another feather in your cap 👌. Great job by Trent.
I'm just wandering if a 12mm button insert may be to big, lathe size etc, I struggle with a 8mm on my tool room sized lathe, maybe there is another issue?
Nice bit of carbon steel for the steel rack, ref old rod.
Photography is spot-on again, great giveaway, nice bit of kit. Congratulations to the winners 🏆.
Result on dro 👍.
Thanks for sharing
Gday John, Its going too be interesting to see how the button tool goes when it turns up, I dont use a qctp so a gain a bit more rigidity there but it still may be no good, It'll be handy having a bit more spare material, Appreciate you watching and commenting mate, Cheers
