Amazing! I wish I could get my yard half leveled. I don’t even care about the grass growth at this point. I have about 3 acres of yard and I’m blessed to at least have a 60in zero turn. I have a bad problem with aeration, moles, drainage, and much more. I would be so happy to get it decently aerated and leveled out.

I've used a sand and compost mix in the past. It's definitely my new go to material for any type of leveling or top dressing. 👍🏼

Pete, you've got to get some GCI affiliates up here in Jersey. We'd pay good money to have a quality company we could trust to handle leveling large areas like this. All the crews up here are interested in is cutting as many properties as quickly as possible - and they do a bad job even at that.
What about the Fescue leveling that you did? Can we get an update?

Yard looks amazing! Ever thought about planting some palm trees in your yard? There are several varieties that can survive here, ranging from small to large sizes. They’re evergreen and deer resistant as well. Been planting a ton down here in Stokesdale

I have Bermuda at my shop. Once you get Bermuda mixed in fescue it’s near impossible to remove it.

Where do you find gold course sand mixes?
How fast (or slow) should you move a roller across the yard to effectively roll it? I have a zero turn with a 48 inch pull behind roller and was curious on the speed at which I should be going to optimize the roller. Thanks I’m advance!

Looking good Pete! Solid content you’ve been putting out this spring. Question on the leveling - did you put down a preM on the wiffleball field earlier in the spring prior to the leveling? Or did you follow up with a preM after leveling? Just curious due to the spring aeration.

I see plenty vids on leveling to fill in low spots. What does one do with high spots like mounds?
Only suggestion I have to to regrade them. I don’t know of another way.

How do you like the Turffloat compared to the other Connor Ward drag that you have?? Do you think you could do a comparison review between the two? I recently built the other drag a couple of months ago, and have been using it. It has its pros and cons. From watching the small amount of use in this video,…I kinda have my thoughts on the Turffloat.
It’s no comparison. The turf float is considerably better. Not even close.

How do you prevent weeds while trying to seed in Spring?
Scott’s starter fertilizer with weed preventer.
I've had outstanding weed control when I used Tenacity or Meso 4C (similar ingredient in Scott's) at the time of seeding and every 4-6 weeks or so when Ia apply my next round of fert. Where I fell short when I did this in the fall I should've applied Prodiamene as a couple of weeks after the Fescue came up, this would've help control my issues with the POA which came up right behind the fescue.
