Hi Pete,I like the new video and new fert and look forward to seeing the results on your neighbors lawn.I am always looking to add anything that is organic that gives my lawn the edge I want it to have and not negatively impact the lawn and or my neighbors yard.
Looking forward in seeing the results you get with this product as I am soon to be ordering it as well as soon as it comes back in stock. I want to do some test of my own on my bermuda grass but I will keep watching for your updates to compare
@pete, If you are up for trying fertilizer products look into MicroLife All Organic fertilizers (it's Houston Company, so it's local for me). I'm doing a test this year with the product on 5k sqft, it's not cheap, but I'm looking forward to seeing it's results. They are a different level of organic compared to many other companies, most people use there products for gardens but they have lawn application rates too.
I am also tempted to try a bag of MicroLife this season especially for the beneficial Myco. fungi, but $60 is a little hard to swallow on an untested product
@@jmc3832 ya I totally understand that! I'm doing the full liquid n-ext program on my 10k sqft backyard and MicroLife on my 5k front yard. The n-ext program is cheaper over the entire year...
Wish I could figure out how to send you a picture but I put mylorganite on my yellow fescue match 10 and March 23 I have full green with stripes. Unreal
In the video the Miracle Grow product was mentioned. It is a product many folks have used and are familiar with, it also carries a reasonable cost. We are being undulated with everyone’s “super special” mix, like their trying to make a extra buck. I would like to see these “super products” applied next to MG in a test. Is the added cost worth it???
Have been using the original Miracle Gro (All Purpose Plant Food) on a KBG/TTTF mix with phenomenal results- I would also like to see a comparison test.
SUBDIVIDED I would be surprised to get a response from anyone pushing their own product much less a true test with a control. Might be an idea for a RUclips channel, controlled testing of all these pushed products giving costs per 1,000 sq ft while eliminating all the anecdotal evidences. I have applied the MG next to Dr Earth next to Docs SuperJuice and can tell no difference. Perhaps it takes years.
And Doc's program he uses it along with another organic fertilizer. I plan on using it good ringer lawn restore early spring. An application of hydro Brix late spring.
Doc premixes his "super juice" in a bucket then screens it as not to clog the sprayer, which is something I wish I knew prior to using the nex-t products(humic) last year in the sprayers plus. He also states very clearly that it's a supplement, he is spoon feeding his Bermuda until the ground temps warm up enough before he starts using granular organic fertilizers. I support him in purchasing the Andersons Humic DG and the Barricade DG, granular is easier for me to put down on my 1.5 acre lot vs spraying. I may use 'super juice' on my 20000 sq ft tttf back yard but not sure, too many mixing bottles and walking back and forth vs using hy-brix once in the spring then the summer.
Mo Cobb that was in the tea bucket - now I think he might have ditched the screen because he says the undisolved particles are below the spout - makes sense there. It’s good that he takes time to educate people but I wish he would lay off the peddling pitch he kind of does. Pete is the PRO!
Hey Pete you should come up with an application rate calculator for most commonly used products and put it up on your site. It would drive a lot of site traffic and that in return would increase $$$$. I thought about this the other day when I was putting out some Next products, prodiamine, etc. I know it's on the bag/bottle, but dang it would be great to have a one stop shop calculator to take the frustration out.
I'm about to re-seed my parent's lawn. Leaf compost for top dressing, and hoping I can get away with a thin layer of it as a germination blanket instead of using hay. Also got some mycorrhiza and Azos . Have you had any experience seeding lawns with that? And I plan on fertilizing with kelp, trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. I've already turned half the lawn in a garden
Should be interesting how you fair with this product. The misting into the air makes me sceptical with his methods. Thanks for taking the time to evaluate this product Pete.
I recently discovered him too. After reading the 5 star reviews on Amazon, I realized nobody had actually used the stuff yet. If that’s not suspicious, I don’t know what is 😂 At $70+ per bag, I’ll wait until next season to experiment...Subscribed to your channel just to see how this turns out. And to hear you say “faaaahve” more.
Super Juice needs to be applied every two weeks. This is spoon feeding your lawn, not dumping nitrogen all at once. You get pretty much an instant green up with Super Juice the next day, but Doc suggests you add a product like milorganite or Innova, which are organic or semi organic for the biology of the soil, at a HALF rate twice a season.
GCI Turf Services But Pete you aren’t applying the Super Juice in the correct manner. You are supposed to be applying this with a hose end sprayer. One cup of Super Juice product per 32 oz. hose end sprayer. Doc says he can cover 2500 feet per 32 oz. hose end sprayer. And he is saying to hose end spray every 2-3 weeks.
Scott Godwin Mr Scott. It’s a foliar fed fertilizer product that can be applied many ways. I’ve used dozens and dozens of products just like this. GCF says use a hose end sprayer as well but I don’t do that either. Trust me bud...I’ve done this 1000 times over and over. 😎 I appreciate you.
Love your honesty I have seen the video on that product looks good if it works but I can Ofer it they don’t ship to Canada will watch more on it though your videos
@@GCITurf by no means did we interpret this test as a personal attack against Doc. But as consumers we love the newest and latest "WOW" factor. So if this test comes anything short of that, it would definitely not be good for business.
My Reply Sucks ahhhh...I understand friend. I agree with you 100%. I’m will do everything in my control to keep my “flesh” out of this and be as fair and professional as possible. Thank you for watching 😎
Hey Pete! I’m in a brand new house and they used a lot of straw to seed the back yard. I’m pretty sure the straw is growing in my yard now, how do I eliminate it? I heard just to keep it cut and make sure it doesn’t seed.
Been interested in product as well as others. Seems to good to be true. Time will tell. Cant wait to see the next video on this. Impressed at how you were able to cone up with a means of spraying the whole yard in six minutes with one tank of four gallons. I will be rewatching to try and figure out the math again. I have alsways been under the impression of 1 gal per 1000, but here you did 7500 with four gallons. So that means you just increased the rate to compensate right? Still the same ratio.
Hey Pete got a question for you about spraying large yards! I just bought a 4 gallon backpack sprayer in preparation of spraying prodiamine on my lawn, it's just over 12,000 sq ft. I saw that you did this entire 7,500 sq ft lawn without refilling. Most common advice is to spray 1 gallon per 1,000 sq ft. So you are just mixing up the entire dosage for the full yard in 4 gallons and spraying very lightly making sure you have even coverage across the whole yard? Some people are telling me that spraying this much square footage with a sprayer is a futile attempt because it will take 5 hours. Just trying to figure out how to do this efficiently and accurately. Maybe I'll split it in half to make it easier and I'm not running through the yard, but just wanted to know if you had any advice on spraying a yard this large. Thank you!
Mr Pete I need help with seeding a area of my yard that I've already applied a pre emergent . It's centipede grass so I need to put out seed soon. I remember you said you have a trick to make it work. Thanks. Also that would actually be only 2% of that little bag going over 2 acres. 98% is moon dust /other matierial. Lol
I’ve been curious to try this product out this season. I saw it advertised on Docs channel. I am anxious to see the results! I also wouldn’t mind trying out Carbon X!
Pete, can this be applied at the same time or shortly after seeding? Or does this fall under common fertilizer rules of not applying until a few weeks after seeding/a few mows/etc? Thanks! Love your channel!
Greg Dassing It shouldn’t be a problem applying at the time of seeding or shortly thereafter. I subscribe to the channel HowToWithTheDoc and this is his product so I’ve heard all about how to use it and just got my first bag. It’s a low dose of nutrition for your lawn. It won’t do a ton for your seeds but will help condition the soil and add nutrients to it over time. You’re spoon feeding your lawn with this fertilizer. Apply it weekly, or bi-weekly and supplement with a granular and it should do wonders for your seed. You can read all about it here and Doc has a ton of videos on how to use it and the progress of his lawn after starting with it recently. www.howtowithdoc.com/super-juice-lawn-fertilizer/
Tip for Pete to try: When mixing powdered ingredients into liquids, measure the desired amount of powder into a mixing container. Then, while mixing add just enough liquid to make a stiff "mud". As the initial tiny amounts of liquid are thoroughly distributed, add a little more, but slowly. As the "mud" thins to "stew" you keep blending and the rate of adding the rest of the liquid can be increased. No lumps, no solids; no clogs. Now; Ya gotta watch ole Doc, in the old days he might have been a horse trader ;-) Dag-gone Bermuda wire grass type of fellow he is.
Im betting the results were nothing to write home about, so Pete didnt want to say anything negative about docs stuff. Hes a great guy that doesnt talk sh%t about others.
Love your videos Pete.... quick question about your GCI TTTF.....is your strain a rhizomatous tall rescue and are the grass blades smaller in size like a KBG..... BTW going to get to spraying the first of my Bio-stimulant package(Humic12), from GCI, that I received for Christmas from my son... Finally warming up here in Northern Nevada
So, 18-0-1 Greene Punch Gallon covers 8500. This bag will make way more than a gallon of liquid once it's complete, so why don't you think it would cover 2 acres at half rate? You could certainly water down 18-0-1 and get 17,000 coverage?
Pete help us out with something different. Dog pee dead spots. Their has got to be something we can do to mitigate and repair or prevent all the damage dogs do to our lawn. Got any info or research on it. I do so much work on my lawn now and using all of these good products but the dog pee damage is killing me. HELP! I am sure there are many of us in this boat.
Patriot for Truth dog pee is simple....but takes much effort. When you let your pet out follow him. Where he pees mark the area. Take water and soak that area immediately. This will minimize the affect. It’s a lot of work because you have to do it every time. Or you can get those pills from the vet. Those work in most cases 😎
Patriot for Truth be careful with the pills from the vet....from my research its not good for the dogs kidneys. I would go with the first recommendation from Pete.
So if my math is correct, this product is delivering 0.8 ounces of N per K at full rate? Even if you went every two weeks at full rate, 1.6oz N per K monthly? You would end up with 11.2 ounces of N per K over the course of a 7 month growing season... less than 3/4lb N per K for the year.... I’m all about low rates, but even I struggle to see how this could sustain a lawn more than a couple days. I would hate to see what people deal with running it at half rate... how much is that stuff per bag? Seems like $9-13.00 would be about right.
You dont use it as a replacement for regular fertilizer. Doc makes this clear. It is used as a supplement and in the early spring as there is very little microbial action in the ground. The idea is its absorbed by foliar action.
J M right, I get that it’s foliar, and part of this would be. But even at the rate, what’s the point? A nitrogen app in the early spring will boost microbial activity. Irrigation will boost microbial action in the early spring (changes soil temps) 80.00 for a single add on per acre if you’re going to run a full fert program that I’m assuming he’s recommending, what’s that going to run you? $10.00 a thousand with everything? I’m not trying to be difficult, I obviously am a fertilizer manufacturer and I believe that if you offer a product it better have some replicated trials and history. The amount of university data my company has compiled on products is vast. It’s important to know what, how, and why a lawn product that has soil benefit works before you sell it. I went and read the label and see that it’s an Anderson’s blend and there’s a statement that no department of Ag would ever let go of it were sold on a shelf. There just seems to be a lack of integrity here and maybe someone taking advantage of an audience.
I dont know if it will work Pete...he usually mixes it up with a bunch of blue dye :D Seriously though, I am glad that you are doing this. I dont think it will hurt anything, but it seems to me that the price per app makes this a pretty expensive product so I dont know if its worth it or not.
I bought a bag a few weeks ago to put on my TTTF lawn. As I've said before, I nuked my front and side yards this post winter so I'm working with bare dirt. I've got the Tenacity product to mitigate weed germination while still allowing grass to grow. I thought Super Juice might be a perfect product to help establish that new grass as quickly as possible. My nighttime temps are still a bit too low to seed. I'm seeing 40°+ nighttime temps as soon as later on this week so I'm thinking the very end of March/first of April I'll be ready to seed. I've used Super Juice on my back yard several times so far too help wake it up. I'm not sure if it's doing anything or not so far. The back yard never really turned very yellow with winter. But I do know this, "Doc" claims one of those "other ingredients" is Sea Kelp. It certainly smells like a stagnant pond. Smells very fishy to me, indeed. LOL! I'm applying every week, very lightly. I don't think it's hurting anything. So we'll see.
Dude do you even know your professional lawn product manufacturers? Anderson’s makes top notch quality professional fertilizers...and that is who makes this. So many uneducated people these days...
Looking forward to updates on this product. I've followed HowToWithDoc for 15 months now. He knows his lawn care, no doubt, but I feel like he's been pushing this very expensive (unproven) product the past couple of months. Before this came out he was combining liquid iron and a "special" granular of Humic DG from the Andersons fertilizer company. Do I think this will work well on a lawn? Yes. Do I think its extremely expensive and you have to apply it a lot? Yes, no question. Doc is pushing an agenda on this stuff. How can someone who isn't in the industry claim its "the best organtic lawn fertilizer for ALL LAWNS". That's his words. $79.88 is a lot of money for this stuff. Who knows, maybe its the greatest product ever like Doc says. We'll see in this testing.
When I saw the price I said that's too expensive for that little bag that only does an acre so I didn't buy it if it was cheaper I would have bought it. so I'm waiting to see the people that have been using it what their results are before I buy any! If I would have thought that little bag I take care of my lawn and my neighbor's lawn I'd only get two sprays out of a bag and it's too expensive. And he says do it every two weeks.
@@Lawnvolution Have you used this product yet? If so what was the results? Milorganite you don't have to put down every two weeks either! You have to put this stuff down every two weeks that is expensive for that bag.it's not like you're putting super juice down and you don't have to put it down for 2 months.
George Popa what does that equal? Milorganite is what, 2.75 per thousand at 1/2 lb rate? Is that right? I would say you’d feed milorgantie every 6-8 weeks.... I’m figuring 12.00 a bag and 10 bags an acre. This stuff is 1.83 per K at full rate every two weeks plus fert? So three to four of these liquid apps between your regular fertility would end up at 5.50-7.83 per thousand. That’s a lot.... especially once you throw your actually feeding on it!
George Popa totally with you buddy. I haven’t watched his channel since last year. He did a video about liquid aeration and I posted a question and offered to send him some AIR8 to check out. My comment was deleted and at that point I realized that this wasn’t an individual who really wanted anyone to look at anything other than what he was pedaling. I know there are a lot of Anderson’s products being pushed and they’re a great company. I had an individual reach out who used the innova product at suggested rates last year and his grass is completely stunted. The soy bean meal seems to working similarly to corn gluten meal and not allowing grass to root of used as a main source of nutrition. I absolutely wish him all the success in the world and as the products go out this year, and he adapts his message to the performance
Agree 100%. He is an agenda pusher trying to make money off his own personal products that are way too expensive that ironically need to be applied so often
Mr Pete quick question. Let’s say you made 2000 thousand dollars last week but had to spend 1 thousand on truck repair. Would you still give ten percent of the 2 thousand? How does that work
As a Christian I give back to the Lord not as an obligation but as thanks for all his blessings 🙏. God doesn't need our money and loves us unconditionally

Absolutely I have Bermuda grass, my soil temp is in the 60s, I’ve cut it 2 times already, looks at Docs grass, he lives in Ga too
Hey Pete, have you done any updates on this test? Can you put some links in the comments or update the 'show more' section with links? Thx bud!
Hi Pete,I like the new video and new fert and look forward to seeing the results on your neighbors lawn.I am always looking to add anything that is organic that gives my lawn the edge I want it to have and not negatively impact the lawn and or my neighbors yard.
awesome video pete! i am officially dubbing your neighbors yard "area 51". cant wait to see the results.
Looking forward in seeing the results you get with this product as I am soon to be ordering it as well as soon as it comes back in stock. I want to do some test of my own on my bermuda grass but I will keep watching for your updates to compare
GCI, I tried looking through videos you have up, but couldn't find the follow-up to this one. Was there a review video of the results or anything?
This stuff is junk. Just snake oil. As expected, he didn't get any results, but doesn't want to offend doc.
I'd like to see you do a review of Doc's newest PGF Complete fertilizer! I've heard some amazing things about it!
I’ve heard of this stuff. Should be interesting to see how it works over in the neighbors yard. Good stuff Pete.
Thanks Pete for this video as I was going to try this product. I'll wait for your results.
@pete,
If you are up for trying fertilizer products look into MicroLife All Organic fertilizers (it's Houston Company, so it's local for me).
Unreal
Can't wait to see the results Pete!!! God Bless and have a great week!!!
I love ringer lawn restore I swear by this stuff especially in early Spring
rashon youngblood that’s a lot of N for a lawn
Amazon states “OR A SUPPLEMENT”. I have watched his videos and can seem to remember him stating specifically what you just stated .
This will definitely be something cool to follow. Thanks for sharing this, Pete!
Can't wait to see the results over time, but I'm not rushing the season to be over, lol
Such a great video full of truth
Wow, ya thats docs super juice. Its awesome stuff! I seen awesome results with this stuff.
I'm excited to see this test. I'm testing this product as well.
Scott Godwin been 5 days since I applied. Little to no color response yet. Trust me I know exactly what spoon feeding is friend 😎
I will be following along this year!
Thank you for doing this test. Definitely will be following. 👍
I saw this stuff right after i had already bought a ton of milo. Nice to get an independent opnion
Add Supper Juice as a supplement bit use the Milk a your organic
Dont waste your money on this super juice. Absolute trash
Love your honesty I have seen the video on that product looks good if it works but I can Ofer it they don’t ship to Canada will watch more on it though your videos
Doc...your on the hot seat buddy
no he is not. I’m not out to “get him”. Lol. I’m just trying out the fertilizer and showing you the process 😎
Any results so far?
Man I have been wondering how this affects tall fescue grass....Doc is a awesome Bermuda grass guy!!
Doc, Pete, and LCN are like dogs...they just make life a little bit better knowing they're around... holding it down.
Hey Pete! I’m in a brand new house and they used a lot of straw to seed the back yard. I’m pretty sure the straw is growing in my yard now, how do I eliminate it? I heard just to keep it cut and make sure it doesn’t seed.
robd2456 summer heat should kill it off. Re seed this fall
...GCI Turf Services thx!
Hey Pete do u have any updates on the super juice app? Thanks o lot!
Can’t wait to see the results. Hopefully it works 👍🏼
Thank you!
@@Lawnvolution the one he posted a few days ago? Or was there an older one?
@@Lawnvolution I'll look back and check it out thanks!
I'm curious to see the results. It seems to good to be true.
Lol
LARRY NELSON I’m filming this video today after lunch. Will post next week
Thanks Mr Pete
Did you have any issues with the humic dissolving in the water?
I did. I got 4 different products in 1 box. When i mix them together it clogged sprayer up. I have not seen a video from anybody talking bout this..
Second. Nice informative video Pete! Will be interesting to see how this product works.
Did I miss the out come? How did it work?
Mr. Bungle i think pete walked away from tbis one
Rooster lol. Never heard of the mud mixing way.
@@GCITurf Ahhhh! The secret to lumpless gravy and perfect brick mortar.
Hey Pete did you have any trouble spraying this stuff ? Did it clog?
hey brother it has 3m how dose it work i did not see follow up video to it
Is there an update video to this?
Im betting the results were nothing to write home about, so Pete didnt want to say anything negative about docs stuff. Hes a great guy that doesnt talk sh%t about others.
Love your videos Pete.... quick question about your GCI TTTF.....is your strain a rhizomatous tall rescue and are the grass blades smaller in size like a KBG..... BTW going to get to spraying the first of my Bio-stimulant package(Humic12), from GCI, that I received for Christmas from my son... Finally warming up here in Northern Nevada
Curious to see how it looks now after more treatments?
@@GCITurf Thanks didn't know about pills.
@@GCITurf PS enjoy your channel.
Patriot for Truth be careful with the pills from the vet....from my research its not good for the dogs kidneys. I would go with the first recommendation from Pete.
Patriot for Truth gypsum will drive the salts down past the root zone
So if my math is correct, this product is delivering 0.8 ounces of N per K at full rate? Even if you went every two weeks at full rate, 1.6oz N per K monthly? You would end up with 11.2 ounces of N per K over the course of a 7 month growing season... less than 3/4lb N per K for the year.... I’m all about low rates, but even I struggle to see how this could sustain a lawn more than a couple days. I would hate to see what people deal with running it at half rate... how much is that stuff per bag? Seems like $9-13.00 would be about right.
It's $79.98, which the blag claims it will treat one acre (43,560ft) of lawn. 13.6lb bag. I don't buy it either. We'll see
You dont use it as a replacement for regular fertilizer.
@@Lawncology it sounds like snake oil. 😉😆 I'm glad I bought the bio-stimulant pack to try this year! Can't wait to start in a couple weeks.
Mark Aguglia everything deserves a fair shot. Let’s see if and what we all learn from this
What's the update on the juice?
Hey Pete have you ever use Medina soil activator from Home Depot
terrance STL no sir. Never heard of it
I really just getting in to lawn care and found your videos.
Thanks be bless
Thanks for making this video Pete! Very interested in this project...
How many ounces of water/per ounces of Super Juice is recommended for a tank sprayer application?
I dont know if it will work Pete...he usually mixes it up with a bunch of blue dye :D
Seriously though, I am glad that you are doing this. I dont think it will hurt anything, but it seems to me that the price per app makes this a pretty expensive product so I dont know if its worth it or not.
I couldn’t find the results video. Can someone link it?
Hey Pete I love the idea of the granular mix but I’m wondering if the nitrogen amount in the bag is worth the price!
Doc is a good dude and has some interesting videos.
Heinzkitz Velvet Any updates?
Pete you are the fescue King!!!!
Thanks for doing an independent test on his snake oil 😂 I’m going to get my popcorn ready for this series
Snake oil is right!
Dude do you even know your professional lawn product manufacturers? Anderson’s makes top notch quality professional fertilizers...and that is who makes this. So many uneducated people these days...
I have been watching him for while he seems to know his stuff For Bermuda grass. Not fescue Pete waiting on a carbon X Update please
Math - everyone needs it!
What’s wrong with the Lawn Rebels “super Juice” , it also greens the yard.😂🤣.Great instructional video Pete, looking forward to see the results.😎👍👍
Great job, what type of sprayer do you use ?
Mike Stevenson I use these www.gciturfacademy.com/spraying-equipment/
How does that work
That's 10% of the total. So if you made a $150000 a year 10% of that would go in the plate.
As a Christian I give back to the Lord not as an obligation but as thanks for all his blessings 🙏. God doesn't need our money and loves us unconditionally
The lawn care landscaping Pressure Washing channel I would give my first 200 - 300 to God. Then fix the truck.
Great channel, thanks Pete
did he do a fallow up video on this?
Well all the people who didn’t know about Doc’s SUPER JUICE now does! Being back by Anderson’s is a big deal!
