Out of all the Spicy Teriyaki videos I think I prefer this one so far, I love Spicy Teriyaki, I moved from Seattle home of my favorite Teriyaki to a rural town in Montana with no Teriyaki so I've been looking for one thats close to my favorite and although I haven't tried this recipe it looks pretty close to my favorite style so I'm going to try it right away
I work at benihanas and I love that you help others with these recipes! Can you please show how to make the avacodo tar tar! This is my favorite! Even just adding it to rice!
Ex-Seattleite here. Realized this recipe reflects a culture that I need to bring with me and pass on to my kids. Making this tomorrow night. Will report back!
Thank you so much for the recipe. I love this food and could eat it everyday. Your directions are very clear easy, and easy to purchase. I appreciate you so much for all of this. Thank you and God Bless you...
Hey, Luis! That's the mustard sauce! I'm going to link below to the video, but note: this will make a 'base' sauce and you'll need to thin it out with heavy cream to get the right taste for you. (The base is quite salty.) Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/4GYFsT4xv4I/видео.html Thanks for watching!!
I bought the incorrect spice, I used nanami togarashi, when I’m assuming it’s the other one, I have yet to try and purchase the right one. Still on my bucket list
@barryalcantar2561 Came here to find out the same thing, have you tried it yet? I already have everything in my pantry except for the ichimi so I'll probably attempt this weekend
Just curious what makes this not shelf stable and why it has to be used in a week. everything use seems to be shelf stable and could last a while in a fridge, is it just the cornstarch losing it power?
hey, what's up! I had put it in private because I thought the video was terrible and was planning on remaking it. But, I recently put it back up because I have too many videos to do before I get around to it. Eventually, I'll redo that video now that I'm a bit more confident in my video-making abilities. Thanks for the kind words! Nice to see you again!!

Man I moved to Texas 2-3 years ago from Seattle still miss all the teriyaki spots 😭
Didn't even know they had a spicy teriyaki! YUM!!!
You are a saint
:)
is there a reason you can only store this sauce for a week in the fridge? I would find myself wanting to use it over the course of a month, haha.
In all honesty, it should be fine. I put a week just to be on the safe side.
@@farmageddon thanks, mate! Gonna try this recipe out this week!
Can I substitute Sake (isn't available) with Mirin? Thanks
Mirin isn’t a substitute, you’d be better of using Sherry instead
Trisha Paytas sent me, baby where have you been all my RUclips days?!

How bout a recipe for that creamy brown sauce they serve? I imagine it’s ginger and/or sesame in it.

Is this the same as the Sakura Chaya recipe for hot and spicy teriyaki sauce, visually it looks the same
I'm not familiar with Sakura Chaya...so, I'm not sure. But the spicy teriyaki is really good!
Thanks for watching, Barry!
Buying the ingredients and I’ll see if it is 😇
@@bloodseeker777 were you able to make it? Does it taste like sakura Chaya, cause I am also trying to find the recipe for that sauce.

Can I just add that paste to some premade teriyaki sauce 👀
For sure. That’d be the easiest way to do it. Will still be good.

Just trying to be on the safe side. It lasts much longer.
Is it possible to substitute some or all of the sugar with Stevia?
Came here from trishaaaa ty for this recipe!
Can you make the spicy hibachi chicken or their spicy hibachi red sauce 😩😩😩
