With Jordan* bc, for me, I have always found Ian funny and before stumbling upon this show had never heard of Jordan, but she makes the show for me. She is so fucking funny and has such an unbelievable life story it makes her such a gem.

Kids aren't getting hormones or anything like that if they are that young, that simply doesn't happen. Maybe they get on puberty blockers, and in absolute extreme cases of suicidal ideation some surgeries become necessary, but no hormones or anything are prescribed. I like a lot of the trans jokes Jordan usually makes, however, this kind of misinformation being so prevalent is how bills banning puberty blockers get passed. Kids aren't transitioning to make their lives easier. Maybe that's just my experience, as a trans person in Nebraska where being trans is definitely looked down upon, but I would be hard-pressed to find such evidence. I know Ian and Jordan aren't personally transphobic or anything, and I'm being a tad sensitive, this isn't exactly an evidence-based show, but I think its important to point out how this sort of rhetoric can be harmful.
seeing people just casually contribute to transphobia and homophobia is so sad, like of course what he’s saying is bad but you gotta understand it from the other side, especially if it’s a child. anyone could tell you doing stuff like that to kids is bad but portraying it as this evil system and generalizing everyone is just as harmful.

It infects people here too somehow (probably being so removed from the ideologies true influence they don’t realize how well we have it here and how non-impacted we are by nutty thoughts ruling our culture here)
