I have just registered on stake but haven't invested yet, can I still use this link when I make my first purchase?
This is going to be huge in the next 5-10 years and I think the company is going to grow to an incredible size and going to expand to all over the world. I'm happy I found this startup and we the first few people investing.
I think so too! If they keep expanding and growing the offering, they have some really great things coming! 🙌🖖
SAME! As a small-time investor they've completely simplified the process. Now, it's time for me to slowly and surely diversify !
Trust me after 5 years all of us will be rich
@@user-uw1ow1jm5jwhy you think so ?
This is bonkers. So smart! Thank you so much, Ross! Ross, can you tell the difference between active and live properties? Also.. do you have to wait for the apartment to be 100% funded to start getting deposits? Thank you so much in advance!
It’s better then stock market definitely
Can we transfer through Mastercard and what would be the tax .
Is there any currency conversion taxes??
Great video! Would it be better to wait it out and invest a large amount on the 2nd property? Or keep investing back on different number of properties the way you have done? Thanks
It really depends... on preference tbf. The way I look at it, I like to make my money always be doing something for me, rather than sitting in my portfolio as cash. I tend to add to it each month but sometimes just reinvest the dividends on their own!
can you sell it ? If you want out and want your money back can you sell the shares ? And if so pls explain thanks
Hi ,do I have to invest every month or just one time ? and at later time more??
hi, if i will start from 1000 dharam so i have to pay more or this is enugh to invest.
how to start for beginner like me??what should i do?
For example I invest 10k AED in a property, i will het the rental in wallet? And how can I transfer in my account? Back to use in cash? Please reply
is there an app like Stake but to invest in USA and as,trusted as stake
Great Video! What fees do you have to pay from your own pocket while investing (apart from the amount you invest? or are the fees already in the amount you say you want to invest? Also, how does that work with taxes? you said you live in France. I live in Germany and to invest in the shares market you usually pay high taxes
The fees are all baked into the amount you pay. There is a chart on their site somewhere in the FAQs on exactly what they are, but they are in the amount you invest already.
RE. taxes - I reinvest all my monthly dividends so nothing leaves the platform, so when I eventually do, I'll have to declare the amount that comes out of this. There are ways to make it less costly, which involves investing under a company and not as an individual and then using the company structure to limit personal exposure though
Is it possible to exit the investment when we decide to do so?
Great thank you
No problem man!
Hi, great video!
I wanted to know is there constant monthly income on holiday homes or it depends on occupancy?
They spread it out so it's monthly!
Thank you for the walkthrough! I'm new to Stake. Any info on how the owners make money?
The company, stake you mean?
@@RealTalkBusiness1337 we mean the company that owns property, hope to hear from you soon, thanks
How to withdraw in canadian bank account ?
Is it easy to realize the original capital amount??
The question is, how legalities work here, I mean do you legally own a share of this apartment "in the contract" or how do you guarantee your "partial ownership" of the property?
so it takes about 10 years for the investment to pay for itself?
Thanks for sharing all these details. I’m not sure I understand how the ownership works. Is the owner of the property the company Stake creates? Does Stake have any shares in this company? What happens to this company / my ownership if Stake goes bankrupt?
Thanks!
They create a company, all those who invest are shareholders. Stake manages all of this. For the company to go bankrupt, the property would have to be worth $0, which is not likely.
Thanks! Couple of questions.
1. Days left - What if by the closure date, the property is not fully funded? or even after so many months, it's not fully funded. What happens then in terms of my investment?
2. Do they charge any fees for payments from Visa debit card from the UK and how will be the exchange rate calculation?
3. If we load and use the wallet, Will there be any withdrawal charges for bank or card instead of revolut?
Just seen these dude.
1. They’ve never had a property not reach funding. If a property doesn’t, for whatever reason reach funding, money is returned to investors.
2. No fees for payment via debit card. I use revolut. As I use revolut it gives me the best foreign exchange rate possible. If I didn’t it would use my banks exchange it wanted to charge me. It’s always on the bank side for things like this.
3. No. Any bank withdrawal is the same, UK bank or revolut. Same process.
@@RealTalkBusiness1337 Thank you
Hey man , I have a question I am from Canada and wanted to invest in stake , what would be the best and cheapest way to deposit money in stake wallet , as I will be converting CAD to AED.
Hello man, I use revolut or if you don't have revolut, something like Wise for the transfer would be the cheapest way to deposit.
I have started investment on this website based on an advise of one of the employees who gave me an advise to start in one of the investment. but what I didn't get it until now is that 2 Questions 1- Based on what i can decide which property i can prefer than the other. what criteria do i need to look at or check on to select the correct property to invest.? 2- Investing with 1000$ is it really enough to start??
You can look at the projected returns on the properties but they’re all very similar to be fair. I personally pick them on different areas but also have a mix of all different ones now.
If you invested $1000 into a stock that gave you a solid 5% price increase a year and also paid you $4 a month, would you say it’s a good stock? That’s basically what you should get with stake.
How do we choose the place/apartment? What if its the least profitible/ in demand neighborhood and apt?
Good point, which is asked a lot. I will often do a bit of googling around an area. I used to do that way more. When I was investing I'd spend ages looking at the areas / predictions of past vs. futures but these days I tend to feel they're all fairly similar on balance.
Good update me on investment like this around the world.
Been out for a few weeks but definitely will do!
Trying to understand, how is it different from a REIT?
Good question. A reit is a collection of properties managed as a fund and you trade shares of that publicly or privately. This is a direct ownership of the property by you as the shareholder. Hope that helps? It’s similar but slightly different.
hi dear , thank u 4 ur video
i wanna ask u if my investment is blocked on the app for the whole time of the project where i invested or i can withdraw it anytime i want ?
thank u
You're locked in for the investment period, or you can use one of the exit windows to sell your shares, which open every may and november each year.
Hey there,
For how much is the minimum investment
to start with?
For how low ?
Thanks!!
You can invest from as little as $100. So with the sign up bonus of $68 you're not far off. I think I started with $250 when I first joined
Brilliant video and reading the comments really helped. I have just registered om the website and have my passport approved.
1. One thing that has confused me is, at the bottom of each property, the calculator shows the total projected return after 5 years and this includes the your original investment amount. I am assuming when the property is sold, you get that same investment back on top of your rental and Value growth?
2. When are these property put on the market to be sold on the market. Assuming after 5 years?
Thank you!
1. When the property is sold, your shares are liquidated and the $$ given back to you. So, if a property is 100k and you invested $1000 you would have 1000 shares in that property. If it sold for 130k, those 130k shares would now be worth 30% more, so you get 1300 back.
2. It depends... they do get some offers before the 5yr period and if it is a very good one, they put this to the shareholders to decide. If not, they will allow it to naturally rise through time and then broker a deal at the end of the holding period.
Hope this helps?
@@RealTalkBusiness1337 Perfect...I have invested some money already now..its a brilliant business model.
1. Do I have to pay any taxes, when I am investing from Germany? I cannot transfer the money from my bank account in AED, only in €.
I don't know the german market and taxes, but often you have to pay when you realise the gains (again, I don't know germany specifically) so I reinvest my monthly amount back in and haven't made any personal gains yet, as it's not left the platform.
regarding transfers, I use revolut for mine realtalk.business/revolut which means I have no foreign exchange fees, but other people use something like Wise for the transfers for the same reason
People failed to understand that trades success depends on brokers ability and their willingness to invest.
planning on investing quite a bit. Did the bank charge any sort of Foreign transaction fees when depositing money into stake wallet?
So I use my revolut to get money in there, which means I don't get fx fees. i'd definitely use something like that or wise etc. to make sure you don't get stung with fees!
People failed to understand that trades success depends on brokers ability and their willingness to invest.
Does mastercard works to fund the wallet , how to withdraw the money also can i sell my position on a property whenever i want ?
As long as it's debit you can use a mastercard. I believe it's not possible for credit cards but mastercard debit works.
Hey another question here how do I know what apartment has a future like which one is good or bad or does it not matter
These days I just pick which one that looks good. Some people like to do a lot of research, but with the market, they will all be at about 5% growth per year and 5% rental divs.
They have a new service coming soon in Saudi that is fund based, which means you don't need to pick the properties which I think will be a really interesting option for people! No need to pick properties!
What are some of the inevitable charges and management fees am likely to meet as an investor and what's there percentage?
They charge 1.5% at the time of property acquisition and 0.5% as a yearly administration fee and 2.5% exit fee on the property and 7% of appreciation. All still less than a fund and their management fees.
@@LegendZzFTW As dividends profits per year in your experience what would be the best Stock to invest?
Hey thanks for sharing information,,,,,i want to ask one question if someone invited huge money and if he want to withdraw all investment after 3 years then how he will withdraw?
So you have 2 options with this. They have exit windows twice a year in may and sept where you can sell your shares, or you wait until you get an offer for that building (which is supposed to be 3-5 year time period)
tax implication if you are from France?
Is there a fee if I use my VISA Credit/Debit card? or connecting a US Bank account?
No fee!
Mate I invest 10000£ it’s great way to invest however the problems are after fully funded they take them at least 2 months to pay you back and also the cost is very highly! It’s not 2.5% ,, 30% management charge check the return and net return and you will see the difference!!
Yea the gap between close and rent out / first rent dividend is like 2 months for sure. But if I was buying a property myself and renting it out etc it would be the same. I don’t think the fees are so bad. I haven’t had a sold property yet but the 6.36% rental return is decent. I’ve looked at other platforms and tried different things but none of them seemed as well put together as stake. Perfect? No, but it’s one of my fav options at the moment.
@@RealTalkBusiness1337 that’s why I invested don’t worry and I recommend it but hope the cost will cut down little bit. Invest in AIX INVESTMENT IN DUBAI THEIR RETURN IS 24% I invested with them 130k
@@WaleedTawfiq oh wow that’s mega. Going to have to check them out. Thanks man!
I can get 5% on short term treasuries without any hassle.
Hi, what about these 2 things:
1) Non-sterling transaction fee when paying into Stake is around 2-3%. For example, £2188 (5000 AED) paid in results in £60 fee. Losing up to half the expected 6-7% increase off the bat.
The monthly rent received for the investment is around £9 p/m.
2) As a UK resident, you have to pay Tax on any earnings from investments inland or overseas. Unless you're investing in a tax free ISA.
So, you get stung when you buy as you're not making a penny for 2 months waiting for rent payments to begin and another 7 months to erode the transaction fee.
Then stung when you self assess tax on the profits. Which the average person wouldn't consider as it's money in the bank from the app. This could be considered tax evasion which is illegal.
How does that initial 6-7% look after that? This appears not good 🙄
I deposit USD or AED using Revolut or Wise, so I don't get any charges at all. I do this for all platforms because Fx on anything is stupid.
Every country has it's tax rules on gains. I keep all mine in the platform, so they're not realised until the end, but no matter what you invest in, you're subject to that.
It's possible to invest if you don't live there? ...and how do you know if the rental price is accurate ?can you verify it on some other platform?
Yep! I live in France and use it and know people all over the world using it, too. As for knowing the accuracy of the price, I'm sure you could go and check. It's not in their interest long term to do anything but get you the best rates they can though.
So if i invest lets say 500 aed for example , would i have a percentage of the rent given to me for life every month or it does it stop ? Explain in simple terms please im new to this
Well the properties are locked up for 5yrs, or, when they get an attractive offer on the property. If someone offers to buy the place you bought into for 50% more than they paid, you'd get your share of that back. You can then put it right back into another property and get the return back for another 5yrs monthly until the next sale. If that makes sense?
Liked your Video, Do you have an option of Nominee incase if some thing happens
That's a very good point and something I was talking about with my ex wife recently. I have so many apps like this with money in, that I'm not sure what would happen if I wasn't around anymore! Not something that they have built in though.
Is it possible to pay with crypto "money" ?
I have a question. Can we get residence in the UAE as an investor like we are in here?
They actually have a webinar coming up on this. Check their site as I’m not 100% when it is. But it comes this exact thing.
One Question Bro. If i invest in april can i withdraw my investment in may?
It has an appreciation period, so within a month you'd not even have a chance to close out one investment.
i have e questions
the return is on monthly basis, for example if i invest x i will receive %06 of it on each month?
😂😂 i got the answer
its on monthly basis
which is nice
Glad you got the answer! Let me know if you have any Qs!
Would I need to declare any income to HMRC? If yes what’s the threshold? Thanks.
So, yes.. technically, but I reinvest my monthly dividends so I would think you'd have to declare them when you take the money out? you'd have to check with the UK rules as I'm not based in the UK and certainly not a tax accountant 😄
If you earn over and above the £12570 The entirety of this income is taxable and must be declared to HMRC. Investment income is only tax free within an ISA (tax free wrapper).
But until they leave the investment platform they are classed as unrealised gains, so you declare them once you take possession of them in your account, when they are realised gains.
How can I trust on you?
This may be a question from someone who knows nothing about investment:
How is Stake better if my bank earns me 5% on my savings?
If you're getting 5% on a bank, I want to see your bank lol but you'll get about 10% pa on these returns projected.
hi!! a question I’m trying to open an account but they asked me for verification, and I have to send a photo of my passport, my photo, and they asked for my papers of my house and my address. It’s that normal?? I am very concerned about that, thank you for taking the time to answer 😊👍
Yes, they have to comply with the DIFC which means you have to have to do KYC (know your customer) processes, it's completely normal. You will be shareholders in properties, owning physical shares of a property, so this is a requirement.
what's the cheapest I can invest for a apartment. Just starting out trying to learn more x
You can do it from as little as 250AED I think it is? About 68$
what about withdraw for original money or income?
If you invest in a property you can either wait until the holding period is up and the property is sold, which is 3-5yrs. Or, you can use one of the exit windows in may or September
Do they charge you at 5:25 from your 1000 aed 270 aed fee ? Why are these costs so high? That is 27 %
Nooo! That's the USD value. I have it so I know what it is! 1000AED is $270 - no charge to invest there!
@RealTalkBusiness1337 ahh thanks man. I watched your vid on mobile phone and did not see the currency symbol. Now that makes sense. Have a good weekend.
buddy, at 10th minute of this video, you've shown your total investment is 2000AED, and monthly, your getting 9 AED. If you claim that this platform guarantees a return of 5% on an average, then 5% would mean 100 AED.. Then why are you just earning 9AED rent every month on an average? Can you explain?
If I invest 5k AED and after 6 months due to financial reasons if I want to quit do I get my 5k back?
They open exit windows every 6 months. In may and November so you can sell your shares in these windows
Still make more investing long term in S&P 500. 10% annual return over the last 80 years.
The returns seem really small 😢
Can I invest in the same property on a monthly basis.
No I don’t think it will be possible to reinvest in same property after it is fully funded, but you can invest on other available properties later
This is correct and why I have small shares in 19 properties there now. I just invest in new ones each month.
How can I look up and ensure this investment is legit and not a possible good scam.
You can check them out online. They're legit. I've been using them over a year now. They're registered with all the financial regulatory agencies
how about smartcrowd?
Did a video on them, too if you check out the channel. Will do a comparison video soon on my experiences with the two
Don’t you think the monthly return is very low? Its like roughly you get $1 per month for every $100 you invest? Pls clarify this
Bro usd 1 for every month is usd 12 annually. This is 12% returns in dollar terms.
can you reinvest your profit? what the minimum investment
great you answered the question in the video should have watched it all before asking questions, looks really good
I thought there's something wrong with my speakers, is there a fan running? 😅
It might be a fan or my computer that is incredibly noisy! Haha 😂 I've since changed my mic as well to hopefully be more directional!
completely unrelated but you have great skin
hahaha err thanks? I think! 😂😂
I've been trying to register on the app but seems like passport is the only way to get to get to the next step, are they no alternative method like using smart ID card instead of passport?
Let me see if that’s an option. I’ll ask them.
If you put 2000aed in one poperty, and you get 9 aed per month then you need 222 months or 18years just to return your money????
It's not to return your money... you never lose the 2000 in the first place. If you invested 2000, in 5yrs that 2000 would then be worth 3171, for example.
Hilarious. That's enough of internet for me today. I'm closing out on this one 😂
i also wonder will Stake force me to sell my investments after 5 years?
It is written on the terms that the investors will vote if they are going to sell the property or not. Majority wins
@@koreanstarsdramamovies4116 but after 5 years they will force you to sell even if nobody wants to sell
Another question just to make sure. If we invest one time, do we need to make payments after that in some time again? Sorry for this question. It’s my first time investing and I got no plan. Just want to make sure that I’ll not get in a problematic situation
You can simply invest one amount and that’s it. You’ll get your monthly amount back out, which you can either choose to just keep it in your wallet on the platform or withdraw it, or reinvest it. I put in a bit each month and do it that way and reinvest my monthly dividends. Any questions let me know!
@@RealTalkBusiness1337 thank you very much for your answers ❤️
Do you need a passport or can i use my i.d card?
I think you can use ID card as well!
If I invest 1 lakh aed , how much income will I get per month?
Something like 500AED a month in rental I think it works out at. Then capital appreciation at the end of the holding period
Can u please give us an example likely if we invest 2000$ let’s say! How much the expectation the roi monthly?

It’s not an app developer, it’s a massively well funded, government regulated company. It’s not as simple as an app developer just not bothering.
International?
yep! I'm in France, I know people in the UK! All over
Llc something go wrong you can't do anything
That's probably part of the risk 🤷
Maybe i got it wrong, ao you have invested $3000 and tou are getting $15 back a month. Baaically ir will take almost 16 years to take everything back and if you are lucky by appreciation im 10/12 years....mmhhh
You do have it wrong. Firstly, doubling your money (or as you put, making everything back) is not exactly realistic when it comes to looking at your returns in general.
The fact is, through stake my returns THOURGH RENT are currently 5% PA.
The capital appreciation is not factored in, because the properties have no been sold, so while they show on my portfolio dashboard (also around 5% too) they do not show in my portfolio balance because, of course, they are not liquid.
This means the returns are around 10% per year on your investments. If you reinvest your returns, as I do with my rent coming in. This then compounds the balance more.
If you don't understand this, please ask more questions.
Don’t you think the monthly return is very low? Its like roughly you get $1 per month for every $100 you invest? Pls clarify this
What are you comparing it to? Getting a roughly 10% return PA for your money. What other things would you do to beat that?
Don't get me wrong, I also do many other things (stocks, P2P etc etc) but for real estate and it's solid growth and balanced risk (vs. the other things like stocks, which are quite volatile at the moment) it's a really solid part of my portfolio.
