Something about Corey’s scream is so different and so good especially on the e first two albums
In coreys case his voice can get that scream without learning how to anatomically ”fry scream/false chord scream”. Like when he screamed in an interview ”we will kill you” he got that scream.
However screaming like Corey did in the first albums all the time will kill your voice. It was veery noticable in All Hope is Gone.
He lately learned how to do it properly without destroying your voice and he is now back to being amazing.

Matt’s was longer than Chester’s 17 second one. Matt said “total nightmare” so you have to start it when he says “total” since there is no break, and you have to end it when he says “yeeeaah” after his scream because there was no break. So his in all was longer

I listen to many rock artists and bands and I love them all but I admit that Chester always stood out with his amazing voice and performance. He is not someone who just memorizes some lyrics and sings them on stage, no he was singing with all his heart and soul. I will always be sad that we lost such an amazing talented person,

I'll never understand why people hate on M. Shadows' voice. Especially for a singer who went from basically screaming in most songs in A7X's earlier work to now, singing pretty damn well especially for the genre.

I'm SO happy that Chester's screams have made it on your top one ranking. I could listen to his fry's all day long and and I am saddened that I was unable to listen to him in a live setting... Chester's vocals in all capacities were extraordinarily refined and humanized.
Chester for me still was and always will have the cleanest and best scream note, still a big fan of LP.
This is factual I have searched far and wide for anything close but chester was something special every ounce of his soul and emotion into his screams. IMO M. Shadows is the only other scream i think its half decent way nothing on chester though
Danny Worsnop imo had the best screams in his “Stand up and Scream” album.
People who listen to the genre, usually agree with the idea that he has some of the best, if not, the best screams.
Personally, I haven’t heard anything better. His range and proficiency in said range is *chefs kiss*
@@pcelis19 Chester had a scream of 17 seconds in "Given Up" and right after he transitioned smoothly into an angelic voice. Chester by far has the best vocals, that i know.
@@Dabby724Agree to disagree. Danny Worsnop sat in the screams and would go to singing pitches. He wouldn't just scream for a couple of seconds because a specific part of a song called for it. His genre asked of him to stay in the screams. Which imo he had the best and cleanest screams. Then he would sing. Chester is cool, I just have Danny in that album over Chester easily. In fact, I am going to listen to the album to appreciate those clean screams.
@@pcelis19 that's the thing, staying in the scream tone/note is far easier to do when one is hitting high scream notes. It's when one is hitting high scream notes then transitioning to clean vocal tone is the most difficult. There are a few vocal coaches here on youtube who breaks down the skills of Chester and how he was a master at it. But hey don't get me wrong, Danny worsnop screams are absolutely incredible and i think his screams are one of a kind as well.

While they are all good at screaming, Chester will forever be the goat of scream vocals because you can really feel the emotion because he would place them in the most critical parts of the song (and also his voice is just perfect and just prone to scream vocals)
