About 10 I could say immediately and about 20 to 25: I know this! What is this again? I have this on my playlist! What the, why can't I think of it. (Answer reveals) Of course it's ... My brain is so aweful.
Dude it's the worst when it's on ur playlist, like I knew Lamb Of God immediately cause I fucking love that band but I couldn't tell it was Memento Mori even tho it's on my playlist
Started out well, but went downhill fast starting in the mid-00s. I thought Powerwolf was Sabaton, and I know Lamb of God’s vocalist immediately. Other than that, I hadn’t heard of at least half of those later bands. 16/45, plus 5 artists without song titles.
27 missed 2 in the 80's, perfect in the 90's, good for the first half of the 00's, got absolutely nothing after Powerwolf. I might be getting too old to keep up with those darn kids these days.
Well. I am a metalhead, but obviously there's loads I don't listen to that were featured here - I only got 22/45 (knew both band and song), and 33/45 (including me getting the band but not song) - there I knew '86 was gonna be Master of Puppets before even starting, and '91 would be Enter Sandman. But, I don't listen to a lot of those later bands you featured, preferring more Euro metal, power metal, folk metal, prog metal, black metal, melo-death and death metal which were almost absent completely - so the ones you featured, they're just not my cuppa tea, seemed very mainstream and American, I don't like anything emo, screamo, metalcore, etc. Most USA bands I like are thrash or death metal, or prog / power metal / symphonic.
Seriously? AC/DC, Opeth, Bloodbath, Hypocrisy, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, WASP, Scorpions, Nightwish, Therion, Europe, Bon Jovi, Children of Bodom. Would all have been better choices over those metalcore bands that nobody outside of that genre knows about.
Imagine a group with ONE great album, lyrical content soooo depressing, overrated at best not on this list… CB was a great vocalist though, may he rest in peace. Only thing more depressing is Staind or Soundgarden…. Sorry.
80’s and 90’s was easy. Got me on Helloween. Nice touch. Lost me on 2003 and on. Screamy emo ain’t metal. Might be hard. Ain’t metal. Also. In no world is Papa Roach metal. Nice work. Some really good takes.
What's your favorite Metal Band?🎸
Let us know in the comments.
Ensiferum, Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Wintersun, Haken, Ihsahn, Rage, Lacuna Coil, Overkill, Dream Theater, Sabaton, Elvenking, Visions of Atlantis... basically stuff you didn't feature, lol!
Mein Favorit ist Rammstein.
RAMMSTEİN!!!!!!!
System of a Down
Couldn’t agree more
No linkin park but muse is crazy
What about Mayhem, Motörhead, Drowning Pool, Limp Bizkit etc ???
Those aren't metal bands
80s: Easy peasy 😎
90s: A bit tough, but we got this 😰
00s: Yeah, ok, a few misses here and there 😤
10s and 20s: Error 404, song and artist not found 😂
accurate depiction of how it goes, except 83 and up was a breeze except 10's unless slipknot and 20's slipknot and metallica etc
Better Error37...)
Same :D
Thank you for including Ronnie and Falling in Reverse.
I would have put Black Sabbath in some position 😅

I love your posts so much

Keep up the good work
Very beautiful
Very nice
Love it!!!! Finally a video where nearly all songs bands I got instantly
as a metalhead i did terrible🤣 i knew majority of the songs but by the time i figured out the artist i had no time to think of which song it is
16
Could do a whole 45 song quiz just of 1986 that would be all bangers
Have to ding you for no Gojira though
Having the pictures of the artist kinda defeats the purpose doesn’t it lol
Post more often
73/90
The only good ones
Master Of Puppets
Kickstart My Heart
Enter Sandman
Bring Me To Life
Needs more metal and really needs death magnetic and load
It said rock and metal for a reason. you probably think falling in reverse or korn isn't metal
20/45 after 2007 it was all downhill from there
I was about to bet my own head that Falling in Reverse will be the song choice for 2025 and I was right :D
13:40 it was to count???
😅
three days grace
Green day?
You are in the list of favorites
the fact that linkin park are not in the video is very disappointing , but i liked the vid so good job
In love 🌺
My favourite metal band wasn't even on the list... has no one heard of Crimson Shadows?
Anyone who hates Falling in Reverse probably loves Five Finger Death Punch a little too much.
29 rights, 16 wrongs
I'm so bad with metal core 😂 I only got SS from those ones.
Honestly same, as much as I like metalcore I suck at knowing the songs 😂
22
Damn, no In flames?
Dude, you got until 2001 before Slayer came up?!
Dude, you care too much about things that don't matter
@@elliotelminberg9675 says the guy replying to comments with smart ass remarks in a 80 metal quiz
@@Chyrnobyl66 yeah he does, how so?
@@Chyrnobyl66it’s not even an 80’s metal quiz😂 it’s 1980-2000’s rock quiz. So you’re fucking dumb.
You had like 20 good songs. Too many weak picks.
Make one yourself then. I thought it was quite good, and I appreciate the effort put into this video.
It's based off the most popular song of that year, hence why they put the views on the footer? Stupid? 😂
Bitch shut up. You probably like mumble rap.
There's no Ice Nine Kills. Sadly ;(
Wheres disturbed and mudvayne
12/90 😬
Так много ноунеймов
Для кого как: я ничего не слышал только про два коллектива

Bro there was also zero hard rock bands such as three days grace, or breaking Benjamin.
Something about modern metal that just doesn't do it for me. Give me Megadeth and the like any day over Jinjer and that lot.
No Lorna Shore, big disappointment
You picked the most obvious songs
Make one yourself
Muse shouldn’t be in there
Imagine zero Linkin Park in this .. wtf

Watch the world burn is from 2023 😞
Far too many emo bands. 🥱
Metallica is not emo
There's no emo bands in this?
well I guess that means music became shite after 2003. post 2003 most bands sound the same
Ending it as weak as possible with that falling in reverse pick
