Songs for 1983 and 1984 back to back was dirty lol
Any WWF fan that was watching in 2001 knows that hook.
Good I’m glad Bodies was the entry for 2001. Nice seeing Godsmack in here too.
It would work a lot better instead of having "the correct answer" just go into the answer with the song still playing
I missed Dio, Mercyful Fate and King Diamond
...but we got Limp Bizkit and Bullet For My Valentine. 🤮
@@gwts1171 😢
@@gwts1171 Yeah and your problem with that is? LB & BMFV was and still is bigger than King Diamond & Mercyrful Fate. I agreee that Dio or Rainbow should've been on the list.
Shit, man, I didn't recognise any song since 00-x
Ozzy, Twisted Sister, WASP, IM, TON, HammerFall, Ghost, Metallica(2/3), Nightwish, Arch Enemy, Sepultura, Static-X - only them
missed maybe 4 till about 2015, then didn't know any of em lmao
I did like certain picks in this, but was a bit disappointed there was no system of a down, tool or meshuggah
Bad omens mentioned, I'm happy!!!
I got every band correct by style just didnt have time to figure some of the songs out by name completely
At least two thirds of these songs aren't metal. Not that most are bad songs, just not metal.
Then you clearly don't know what metal is.
Two thirds?! Literally the only band I could see is a stretch that it's not metal is like Ghost, and then Motörhead is like obviously hard rock and same with Mötley Crue. There's probably other ones I'm forgetting tho lol but everything else is definitely metal whether u like it or not
Way to to pick the most obscure fucking songs for the 80s
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay my favourite band 5:04
Только самые внимательные слушатели заметили, что лишь одна группа была представлена дважды! 🤘
Металлика
Если ты про металлику, то они тут аж трижды представлены
Wasn't it 3 times
3, братан
@@biovoxob8607 it was
i was expecting avenged to be a little earlier in the list but not bad at all
Surprised we got Limp Biskit but no Sevendust or Laguna Coil
A7X is on the list... 💀🦇
only got 1980, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1998 and 2008 correct
Im 23 and lost at 1993 ☠️
Falling in Reverse лучшие🖤🖤
10/45 easy!
List completely invalidated after FFDP spotted.
Round the half. I didnt count. Often i recognized the Band, but not the Song, Slayer for example, and most of the newer Metallica-Stuff.
28/45
Hunter's Moon is one I definitely recognize.
If you have ghosts, you have everything
I don't know anything after 2006
I don't guessed 1994, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024
Welp, I got 34
Got 10 right by song and artist. About 15 others I got the artist but couldn’t think of the song in time. About 10 songs I’d never heard before, not a fan of the older and lighter stuff. Also realized I really can’t stand the way FFDP has gone, that song of theirs sounded like garbage
1998, 2004, 2007 and 2024.
Rammstein and Falling in Reverse are THE BESTS !!!
If youre gonna make a metal list by year, at least pick songs that match the era. The 80s were fine, the 90s needed more thrash, early 2000s was okay with Nu Metal, but everything after that completely missed what the dominant metal sound was of the era. Everything from roughly 2005 and on should have been dominated by melodic metalcore, gojira esc stuff, djent, and then way heavier stuff going into the 2020s. Just as an example, i can promise you that when people think of metal in the year 2022, LUX AETERNA by Metalica is not even close to what theyre thinking about. Itll probably be something closer to Lorna Shore with their Pain Remains album.
This isn't about being representative or a charts of metal, but a quiz. Making it too obvious would be against the point of a quiz.
Ghost not metal
Wheres SOAD?
Ghost is metal but yeah where is SOAD
@@elliotelminberg9675 Sorry but Ghost is pop...
@@kardinalios74 I'm sorry what? Have u heard pop music before? Lemme tell u it doesn't sound like Ghost at all. Ghost is a doom metal, sure they're progressive rock and arena rock too but they're definitely not pop 😂
@@elliotelminberg9675 Some fifths with distorsion and some masquerades, doesnt make music metal...
Even Michael Jackson had harder music when he was alive.
@@kardinalios74 Michael Jackson did not have harder songs smh 💀 just use Google and you'll see what genres they are or listen to what I just told u
Nice) But if you add KoЯn and Limp Bizkit but not any of LP greatest hits it is strange) Also whole video I was waiting for Psychosochial Slipknot, it 1000% was the song of the year in the year it appears, no one can compete with it, never.
This video is full of non-Metal songs.
A lot of it is old so it was probably considered metal then but maybe now it sounds more like hard rock. For example Motörhead is hard rock (I think) but was on the list
@@elliotelminberg9675Motörhead never called themselves metal, even in the 80s, but a lot of people consider them metal
@@saferseph yeah that makes sense, it's kinda in the middle of hard rock and metal to me at least but I always thought they were considered hard rock lol
1998-2001 , 2004-2005, 2008-2010, 2012, 2017-2020, 2023 are not metal
🤡
Wrong, they just belong to different subgenres (except Limp bizkit, they aren't music)
Found the gatekeeper
2023 is a form of Progressive Metal. Nice try tho.
Actually it's called metal dude
