1:25 If you’re talking about the synth loop, I’m pretty sure it was pulled from a sound library and inserted into the song. It’s one of the parts of the IDEA version of Ice Brain that’s not redone, and I know that Capcom used it in at least another game they developed for the Gamecube: a Mickey Mouse game of all things. I know this because I remember watching one of Jon’s streams and there’s a point where Mickey enters a Matrix Bullet Time sequence at a Context Sensitive point and the synth loop plays during that.
The Megaman Zero music is so awesome.
The Megaman Zero series had an absolute BANGER of a soundtrack collection
This man masterfully plays live the best cover I've heard of this song through analysis. I guess learning scales and stuff really is worth it.
That solo starting at 4:22 is so pretty
Megaman zero is severely under rated.
GODDD You do so much justice to the megaman zero soundtrack you're a beast at this keep it up

There was also a game from SEGA that used this synth sample, can be found in video as follows: ruclips.net/video/EERU3qc7GAg/видео.html
Such a good analog synth loop in the beginning
Love this track.
Part of why it sounds like Sonic music is the fret walk down. That progression is in the Green Forest theme from SA2, I believe
One of my favorite MMZ2 themes.
It sounds so good you should do a full version
You can do a 80000 hours direct about mega man music and still have another 10000000000 hours to end about all songs
More megaman zero please
I'd like to hear your take on FFXIV "Fiend" - square was very nearly sued.
