How to Render Tallow for Soap Making | Preparing the Fat (Part 2)

In this 3 part series, I show you how I render beef suet (fat) and deer fat into tallow for making soap.
(This is the 2nd video in the 3-part series!)
When using your meat grinder to chop up deer or beef fat, you want to make sure you pre-cut the fat to the proper size.
It’s also important to control the feed rate to keep your meat grinder from getting plugged up. Once you get the hang of it, you will be able to grind up the fat like a pro without burning up the motor in your grinder.
