    I've used a manual Stanley stapler through two covers into the pan with no problems at all.

      I'm sure you could, it depends on the gun I'd say. I tried a manual one and it wouldn't work, but there are many different types of staplers👍🏻 i think staple length is most important.

    I did the Seat Concepts Commuter on my DR650 and have been really happy with it.

    You know there is a tool called a staple puller, right? Just sayin 😁. I love your stuff, good job!

      🤣 yeah, but those are beefy staples, I'd bet it wouldn't do any better haha!

    Should definitely have test fitted without glue, just to get the right mechanics of putting in on

      Actually it has been perfect now for years so I'm not sure what you mean? As far as I'm concerned the seat is perfect, wouldn't change a thing. 👍🏻

    I watched the concepts video and thought you did a better job. What size staples did you use? yours kinda of looked thicker then from the other video.

    What tires you got on your DR650?

    • @southerndualsport3827
      @southerndualsport3827  3 года назад

      They are the Tusk Dsport Adventure tires. I really like the rear, but tge front after 2k miles is starting to cup. The rear is amazing though, shows very little wear!

      @@southerndualsport3827 THANKS!!! Still building mine out little at a time. How do they handle on the pavement?

    • @southerndualsport3827
      @southerndualsport3827  3 года назад +1

      @@mt1885 Actually quite well until the front started going cuppy. Now the front is pretty noisy, but honestly, wind noise and engine are louder but you can definitely hear the front now. As for corners, its very stable, obviously I wouldn't burn corners on ANY knobbie but these don't seem to walk around at all at normal speeds. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for the video. But how is the seat now? Is it better??

    • @southerndualsport3827
      @southerndualsport3827  3 года назад

      Its a definite improvement, not only from a comfort standpoint, but it is better for off road riding, it has more grip to it than the oem seat. WIN WIN!
