1:00 That may have been a double bounce, the ball seems to be in contact with the ground on the same frame that it makes contact with the racket.

you're right if the ball didn't touch the ground the trajectory wouldn't be as high and fed would've probably lost the point from an overhead smash

Yes, it looks like he hit it along with the bounce.
The thing is, it took a weird effect when it landed, which would hint it was executed with slice and therefore before it bounced twice.
