    When Nadal first entered Tennis Roger was cruising along with no real completion. Rafa was fearless and handed Roger a string of tough losses. Roger just couldn’t beat Rafa for a good while. Yep, best level hes ever achieved IMO.
      Better movement in early years does not compensate for how well he was striking the ball on both sides in 2017. And taking shots early / less backhand slice and staying on the bassline

    • @ShadeXH
      @ShadeXH 5 лет назад +8

      @@CaLMCee Firm disagree. First of all, movement is what enables a player to do everything on a tennis court. Better movement isn't just better movement, it's better everything. Nadal has already equaled Federer's Longetivity cause he was playing at very high level since age 18. By age 21 Nadal had won 3 slams and 11 masters. At that age Roger hadn't even been to a G.S.
      Semifinal and won only one. masters. Nadal won his 1st slam at 19 and his last at 33. Roger at 22 and last major at 36. Both in a 14 year span. If Nadal can continue to win Masters and Slams till age 36 that surpasses Federer's Longetivity. Nadal doesn't need to play till age 39 like Federer cause he was kicking ass at an earlier age.

    The infamous day these two greats of the sport retire, we will miss them dearly. The quality of those rallies is beyond ridiculous. How on earth Federer is able to dig so deep to reach those balls on both sides. Not to mention how Nadal manages that pace and convert an offensive backhand from a very low slice, mind blowing. Not only they elevated the sport of tennis to new highs, they are both two of the best ambassadors the game have ever known. A class act in and out of court. Sorry to say this, but Djokovic is lacking in that Department ( the expulsion of the US OPEN 2020 has nothing to do with this assessment)...

    Lol at all the people who argue constantly about who is the GOAT....They are both legends!!!! Period!!!...When Nadal and Federer play peak level it is going to be a battle!!!...Nadal advantage outdoor hard and clay...Federer advantage indoor hard and grass

    Nadal relies more on power n tenacity. Fedex exels in talent n agility. Both r not good for young players as they r getting better as years r passing by. They ll likely stay here on top for another 4 years more unless ATP sets a limit on age or length of activity. Boy, they r just getting better n better. What can you young players say..

    Federer is 10x the player of any of his generation. Nadal is great but can only stay with Roger due to athleticism and determination. As far as talent is concerned no one comes close.

    With any other player, save Djokovic, Fed would have finished off the rally in 4-5 exchanges.

    Nadal is the youngest player ever to complete career slam. Nadal is only player to win 5 slams after aged 30. Imagine what might have happened had he been fit and at least changed his coach inbetween. He should have changed his coach earlier.

    Rafa Nadal el que no tiene talento,
    jajajaja, ya con 17 añitos y ya demostraba todo el talento que tenía!
    Eres la razón por la que veo tenis!
    Vamos Rafa!
    Rafa Nadal who has no talent,
    hahahaha, already 17 years old and already showed all the talent he had!
    You are the reason why I watch tennis!
    Vamos Rafa!
