REST IN PEACE SAKI. Your music helped define my childhood, you inspired me to become a music producer, and your music STILL continues to inspire me 18 years after having first heard it. FOREVER an Inspiration.

The music and ambiance in ME3 clubs are vastly inferior! Nothing compares to the Afterlife. The Citadel is for wannabees and weaklings. Besides, bar brawls are much more entertaining on Omega!
Agreed. They should have instead made a game inside the ME world and timespan, but that has nothing to do with Shepard and the Reapers. Why not making a game entirely about gang wars on Omega? I would like to be able to play something like a high tech mercenary on Omega and having the choice of joining different factions. It could be fun to play a grumpy and disillusioned turian mercenary or something like that. You really don't need to go in another galaxy to find something awesome to do in the ME world.
@oliveira patrick If you haven't played it, you should bro. The ME Trilogy was one of the best ever made. Btw, the trilogy remaster is probably scheduled to release in October. Try it, and quite honestly there are few games if any that would compare
me too, help me a lot to get in the mood for coding, if you have any suggestions please let me know, and if you never heard: try Velocity 2x soundtrack, thank me later
+ Raul Barros Oakenfold is pretty awesome for coding in my opinion. Especially if you're into this kind of sound. I like the album/mix called Tranceport. It's amazing and I'm not really even a fan of trance music :D
RIP Saki Kaskas - Just found out today you died, absolutely gutted! Someone wrote in the Kotaku comments - "This track for Omega defined the whole game for me. Walking into Afterlife as this beat filled the air, overwhelmed with the visuals and atmosphere... it elevated an already great game to legendary status, and the music played no small part." - Perfectly put, your music will live on far longer than any of us.
This and the galaxy map music is perfect for doing any long-term event. Incredibly appropriate for the game, as well. I couldn't imagine this song anywhere but Afterlife. ME2 may have scaled back the RPG nature of the trilogy, but I think it's easily the best. If only places like Ilium were real.
Dunno...galaxy map gets repetitve too quickly for me...maybe its because of how frequently i have to deal with it, due to constant flights from one location to another, so i develop fatigue too quickly...This on another! I dunno what is the reason, but i can't get tired of this! It gets literally stuck in my head for hours even after i stop playing it! It plays in my head for hours and stays there! Lol With galaxy map its not the case...its more repetitve and annoying to me...

Thank you Saki Kaskas, your tune has been my companion in many moments in my life, sometimes to inspire, sometimes to concentrate, sometimes to close my eyes and joy, rest in peace my friend.
Just started playing ME2 for the 1st time. It looks beyond its 7 year age in 4k. Already loving the soundtrack. This scene in Afterlife is off the scale. I can't help but imagine dropping a few pills in this club and zoning out. Fire, sexy dancers, lots o visuals and aliens with guns. Possible paranoia on the horizon but ultimately a fantastic night out.
I only played only a few of the older Need for Speed and I'm not sure if it included High Stakes, but people must have had a hard time leaving the garage and actually playing the game... This song is so awesome!
hmmm ruclips.net/video/-lUyvO3_WgE/видео.html did anything similar appear in nfs 5? (never played 4 but the track felt a tad familiar nonetheless somehow). Also the party soundtracks in citadel featured a good number of tracks from Undercover (not the world's best nfs, but eh I enjoyed it quite a bit).
Literally come here and play this anytime I just need to focus and get in a productive groove and get something done. Brilliant track from an amazing game.
herrlich, nach all den Jahren fällt mir schlagartig wieder ein, weshalb ich den Teil so liebe. Ich hatte mich damals oft in den Club gestellt und die Mucke im Hintergrund laufen lassen :D
The legendary edition of Mass Effect cam out! It has all 3 on one disc and all DLC for PS4, Xbox one, and PC. It is worth it, if you love the series and you get a lot of playing hours for your money.
As a concept, Afterlife would likely be an amazing nightclub irl, expanded for more private rooms, ofc. If not the main floor, the private rooms could have this as the default bgm :D
Great song, and nostalgic for two great games. Interesting that this version seems to feature ME2 Samara's theme at 0:09, and NFS High Stakes menu sound effects at 1:09.
When the game came out I coul play it well, even I didn' finished and i Just wachted how my father played it :( but I could play it well 2 years ago :) Altohugh, I have to say that the first one is better in some aspects.

Oh my god the atmosphere was incredible. I'm as jaded a millennial gamer as you can get, and that moment really blew me away.

For a nightclub on the frontier its damned impressive!
If I ever own a night club it will be called Afterlife and when this song plays it will be happy hour. Half priced everything.
How about the Purgatory one from ME 3? I could rave to that!
So can I get 2 beers in price of one? Cool :)
