TMNT, NES, SNES, that friend who only had Sega consoles and I was jealous of him, the release of the Sega Saturn which will never be topped in my mind, Blockbuster nights and getting a game rental, dial up and downloading my first MP3... kinder people, interactive face to face, not distracted and engaged. I miss it dearly.
Friday "after school center." Head home, play Sega. Maybe eat a free personal pizza for good grades from pizza hut. Family movie in the den.

At the beginning of the song I was sitting on the bus looking out the window as the sun was coming up. The sky was that perfect blend of blue purple orange and yellow. Truly beautiful.

I was born in the late 90's so I lived through the early 2000's as a child but this still makes me feel as a witness to the times back then....
I was in my late teens to late 20's during the 80's. It was a great time.

What does this music sound like to kids born 15 years ago? A large part of the attraction is the weird and unique feeling of nostalgia. No doubt you'll have your own experiences in a few years with the music of Calvin Harris etc. etc.

As an individual whom did not grow up in the eight's but saw how fun it was I feel as though I am longing for an occurrence that will never come to forwishen and I am left feeling sad because of this. I know the 80's was not perfect but I feel it was so much beater than the current time period we live in everything seemed less masked and more pure, that people just did not care and you kind of had to had so level of grit to survive. lol We live in a world were journalists write about how a call of duty game is scary because of the fact that it is spreading awareness of the atrocities of war.
