Estee Lauder is not a cruelty-free brand because they sell in mainland China where after-market animal testing is required by law. Oh wow, I'm impressed. I thought you were heading for a B+ until the very end. That's encouraging. It's on my list. And that Come as You Are palette is stunning. I liked it when you showed the pan, but it really performs beautifully.

You always seem to have the best shade swatches for me to compare to other foundations I already have! I had to come check out your channel because the majority of views from one of my videos was being suggested from you and you just did a collab with another channel I watch. Great review, glad I found you. I had trouble with the perfect shade, it didn't match up to my double wear shade, I had to go lighter, but it still ended up darker on my skin. The foundation looked great on you all day.

Love this foundation. I use my SPF and then apply with my fingers and works good on my 49 year old skin.

Hi Shelly, I thought it looked beautiful on your skin. It gave you a beautiful luminosity without being shiny... just healthy looking skin. thanks for the review - I just ordered it. I use the Double Wear and love it but it can be a bit drying. I may even try mixing the two... wish me luck!
I bet they'd mix well. They react very similarly on my skin (and I think I will try the same, to get some of the cool tones mixed in).
I think this looks like one of those foundations that looked better as u wore it. The mid day picture looked better than initial application and that patchy spot looked better. I may have to try it. Thanks for another great review. I really appreciate you.

I mixed this the other day with the CoverGirl TruBlend Matte Made L20 which is too light for me, and it wore wonderfully - so it looks like it can mix just fine for shade correction!

This is my makeup brand and exact shade. At 70 I have used Estee Lauder foundation for over 50 years. Especially over the last 3 months I get comments on my complexion being beautiful and shock at my age being 70 rather than 50. I use Estée Lauder priming, blush and finishing powder. I don’t mix brands! The manufacturer creates them to work together! You can’t judge the foundation accurately unless you do!! 👩🏻🦱
Excellent review. For those who are super pale: I color match to 1N0 in the EL Double Wear. The lightest shade in this product which is also 1N0 is not only too dark upon application but dried down even darker. Shame as it felt good on. Wish EL offered the same shades in all the foundations they made so there would be no issue moving between them.

L'oreal just launched their Age Perfect line, which includes the Age Perfect Radiant foundation. Please review that one! I hope 2020 is the year of luminous, hydrating foundations. I can't do matte anymore unless it's summer.

I’d love to see a video comparing all “Grade A” foundations against each other (each one in a full day wear test) and actually see which ones are still in that Grade A category. I know preferences and expectations are prone to change but I think it’s a fabulous idea.

I have oily skin and it looks nice on me- I pair it with the Milk hydro grip primer
I have found it works best with no primer. It is a beautiful foundation. The lightest shade is pretty much my prefect color and I’m pretty fair.
I’ll tell yah. During the winter. I have awesome skin days, and dry patchy days... depending on the heating on in the house and the chill of cold wind against the skin. And my skin care... It would take me a week to figure out how much I like a foundation. Hahaha one day my skins perfect, the next I’m like, my nose it’s peeling. 🤔

Thanks for this review! It looks great on you. I’m going to buy it tomorrow.😊 I did read that the colors run a bit darker so maybe the lightest won’t be too light for you. Estée Lauder often adds more shades once the foundation is out and selling so perhaps we’ll see more shades in this one.
I hope they add more shades - I'd love for them to put in a lighter cool undertone! I'm going to swatch the lightest one next time I go by the store to see if I can pull it off. This is a foundation that I wouldn't mind having 2 shades of. I'll wear it enough.

I bought the white and dark foundation tint from Elf and they work great when you cant find your shade and don’t want to buy 2 bottles of foundation to get your correct shade. :)

Aww... Lovely! You know, Shell...I'd be willing to bet that a possibility for the foundation gunking / caking up a bit on your cheek might be down to the moisturiser / primer / foundation combo all not wanting to play ball together. I did have a big issue with the Belif moisturiser gunking and pilling up on me under makeup.
Yep it all seemed to sort of melt togther as the day went on so I think I just had a spot I hadn't blended out each step underneath very well.
I found this foundation to oxidize-like CRAZY on my arm. L’Oreal does a LOT of things RIGHT, eyeliner mascara and lip products are their strong points. I MAY try the Futurist at some other time, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the TooFaced Born This Way foundation. Its a hydrating medium to full foundation. Still gotta try the matte version.

You make me want to try this. I love ELDW in Cool Bone. I'm afraid of the color match for this one. It looked so dark when swatchef next to your other shades. Our coloring is pretty spot on the same, except I have no summer color or fake tan 🤣. I rock the porcelain look all year 😊
The shades definitely don't line up perfectly with their previous ones and I do think this line leans a half shade to a full shade darker than the others, but same undertone.

Would you consider doing a video on different mixers for your foundations, like the white ones to lighten the shades? I use the la girl white mixer and it seems to work well but I’m wondering what the other ones are like that are out there to try.

Sooo my one and only foundation is the double wear (3C1 Dusk) is my exact match. But after seeing your review of this new one, I had to give it a try. Sadly, they didn’t have my exact color, so I had to go with 3C2 Pebble. I ordered online and the consultant recommended this. It’s actually a pretty good match. I used it today, and I got some nice compliments on it. I think this is definitely worth it. My face didn’t feel dry. As I look oily during the day, after running around at work for 12.5hrs (I’m a nurse) but my skin can also go dry in spots. So even with double wear I have to use the Estée Lauder pressed powder a couple times through my shift and that does the trick. But anyway, this new one was so nice, felt great, radiant but not greasy. Thank for the recommendation!
I'm really loving this one for work days, too! It lasts quite well and I feel like it's lower maintenance than Double Wear (and I love Double Wear).

LMBO🤣🤣, thanks for taking time 4me, makes a gal feel loved 💕, from the time I wake its litterally a splash of water to massage in what work my nighy skincare has done during sleep, then the battle begins, that aha gel b4 the hyaluronic serum, and Loreal hydraboost on that, this is b4 coffee, then its that Vit C serum, wait 10 min ,then its Paulas Choice extra dry moisturizes, mixed with vasiline..shower, and work in Elta MD 44 tinted sunscreen and of course all my full face makeup...YUP at my age I WIIL, I DO, AND MUST bring out all the big guns and takes "THE TIME". Im 100 % convinced,that as we age what we lack most is bright skin that is moist, make that the focus and its half the battle..women in their 40's 50's60' 70's and up MUST,
ABSOLUTELY MUST MAKE TIME TO SUPER MOISTURIZE/ HYDRATE AND USE AN ANA'S. And without fail use sunscreen. Our skin, its LITTERALLY ALL ABOUT THE PRE MAKUP APPLICATION,
please be the first and most honest one and get my message out to all mature skin women, its the CANVAS, beneath the makeup that will give u ur best most adoring look.
My message is we are no longer in that quick fix, out the door in minutes click, that ship has sailed. Our skin requires, desires, and wants time spent....well love u darlin, wish we were able to share photos here in comments,

Hmmm I have it and I've worn it in a couple videos (here's one - ruclips.net/video/f0NtaEuoYuk/видео.html) but for the life of me I can't find a review link! I could've sworn I reviewed it. I haven't worn it since so I don't think I had great luck with it (I have one drawer for the ones that don't work out and another for the ones that do). I will see if I can find my old notes!
I am wearing it for the first time today, also in Ecru. I think it is a good color match; I am not as pale as I think I can, but my undertone runs more pink, so the Ecru misses it in that respect. I have been struggling with dry skin this winter, and this feels comfortable. I'm on hour #8, and it looks good.

Prolly 1c1 cool bone would have been a perfect match. It’s peachie neutral with very slight coolish undertone. Neutral peach is super hard to find
Yay I’m so happy you posted this review today because I was planning on ordering this foundation tomorrow but reallyyy wanted to hear your opinion first. We are close in skin tone and I been going back and forth on the lightest shade or Ecru. I’m going tomorrow to get shade matched before placing my order. I bought one of WnW’s foundations and returned it.
It smelled awful. I even waited for the odor to fade after 10 to 15 minutes and it didn’t.

I love this foundation! Love the high spf love the longevity and it's so smoothing on me! I hate double wear so I'm going to mix the 2 so I can get use out of my dbl wear I've neglected it.
