I have dragon scale dry skin and I’ve been using this foundation for a couple months and love it. I do use the poof that comes with it, and I do my skin care and sunscreen before applying. Love it.
Does thebscentngo away or does it stay strong all fay? I really want to try this but I'm sensitive to fragrance and perfume. Ifbitbgoes away pretty quick I can handle it but it scared me when she said it's so strong she can taste it
@@ashleybullard1285 I have sensitive skin as well-very fair, but honestly I don’t notice it much. I don’t wear perfumes due to asthma, but had no issues with this foundation. Robert Welsh has a good video on how to apply the foundation-using the sponge it came with. Most people use too much product.

Shelly, you're always my go-to girl on foundations past and foundations present. It’s not only your great testing and review, but I used to have very dark brown hair (almost black) and fair skin like yours, and a bit on the dry side. I wear cool tones as well. Whichever color you chose, I know exactly what to choose. I have to say, while looking at the swatches online, with 3 cool colors preceding it, I would never have chosen 21C. There was a gal on YT who happened to be an albino, who tested the the lightest color at the time, which was 15C, and it has orange, orange, orange! I Googled their color charts and then said, "Screw it! I'm going to go over and see what Shelley has to say!!" And viola!!! 21C it is!
When it comes to the Korean foundations, when in doubt I usually pick number 21! They don't all align their shades but it's a lot more aligned than the US manufacturers.

So much fragrance you can taste it?! Old school Oil of Olay vibes! I used to sniff my mother's Oil of Olay and marvel at the violet taste at the back of my tongue when I was little. This product looks great on you, though, very smooooooth
I had to go completely fragrance free a few years ago… for one of my kiddos. It was tough at first but now I’m really happy about it. Especially over the last few years, it’s become a lot easier to find stuff!

Ordering online is intimidating but I ordered 21C and wore it today...all I can say is WOW!! Love love love your content. And the fact that we are close in shade ranges. Helps me a LOT - THANK YOU! I had the same experience......"why doesn't this click shut? Boy that's going to dry out!" LOL. So far, so good, I found that patting it on with the sponge it comes with gives best finish (and patting vs. swiping even makes a difference). Sometimes at end of day it seemed that this product exacerbated my skin texture - made it look a bit dry/cakey, but that's only super up close....really makes face look even and clear and healthy. And it feels SOOOO satisfying when it first goes on. I was SHOCKED at the amount of coverage it gave while still feeling light on my skin. I was so impressed, I bought some of their skin care products :)
And I just got the JUMISO sunscreens to try the awe-sun airy fit is great but the daily moisturizer with sunscreen is incredible! It’s pure glass it’s not dewy I can’t stand that normally but it’s soooo moisturizing g my skin is so plumped up today and the Missha went perfect over it … age -r booster pro best device ever!!!! No more under eye or 11 wrinkles It might be better than my beloved HARUHARU WONDER it’s just that finish I like more satin tough call plus it didn’t melt off today in the heat bonus points LOL!!!!!

Every time I wear this, it feels like my face is having the best day 😂 I also have a problem with my allergies and touching my nose and face, so that’s the only reason this foundation has been breaking down for me. Even still! The coverage of this after me touching my face throughout the day is so good. Even my high end foundations don’t last this long! You look great! ❤

The two persons I've seen using cool tone very light shades have had much better color results than those I've seen using neutral shades. This includes you and an older lady. The foundation looks good on both of you. On the people using neutral tones, the foundation looks very yellow.
About to buy on Prime Day and had to come back and check your shade lol. I have a different undertone but on the fair to deep scale I always count on you!

I got a sample with my YESSTLYE order lol to try it … I am LOVING the new MISSHA I found Choyobang lol it’s incredible and 17 is the perfect shade you would love the ROM&ND Veiled Rose Glasting Melting Balm! Hi Shelly, after this review, I ordered the foundation on Yesstyle for only £16. It took ages to arrive, but I was excited when I got it, in shade 23N, sand. I was annoyed, because it looked so dark and orange, but I had to try it on. As I was applying it, it made me look orange; to be fair more peach than orange. And then something happened. After 10 minutes or so, I looked at my face, and lo and behold, no more orangey face, just my real skin colour, light neutral, slightly cool. This was the reverse of oxidation!!!? By the way, according to some reviews, I pressed the puff very lightly against the sponge and then tapped it on my face in a few places, as you would with a standard foundation, and then spread it all over with my hands. But if I would use more product, I would have spread it with a brush. As you have demonstrated, the foundation stays put and beautiful all day, well at least for 10 hours. The price if this foundation on Yesstyle varies all the time, but it is very reasonable for what it is. I would say US$20 or around £16 in the UK.

I have combination skin & deep acne scars on my cheeks so applying foundation sometimes drives me insane since I cannot predict how my skin will act that day 🥲 I recently purchased this tirtir cushion, my favorite way to apply this is by using the puff that came with it, trying my best to pat the foundation (thin amount), then finish blending it with a beauty blender
I watched a few reviews on this foundation lol….andthere are multiple variations of this from matte to one for dry skin. I am curious what the dry skin formula is like.
Shelly, I’m binge watching your channel today. Tirtir looks fantastic on you. I wear the shade Vanilla and love it. Like you, I don’t use the sponge that’s included. I have to be comfortable applying makeup and I prefer a brush or damp sponge. Love the completed look. So look forward to seeing a visit from Ziva!
If it is slightly dry on you, it will not be suitable for me unfortunately. However, it is not an available here in the UK, so I have no regrets. Please, Shelly, could you review your favourite bronzers, as I am having trouble finding one which is not orange on me.

I would say just a tiny smidge less dewy (probably the same to most people, but since you're asking about finish I bet you'd notice the difference) and feel - where True Match I feel like is sometimes on the verge of wanting it set with powder, the TirTir I don't get that feeling. The TirTir sets a little bit drier (not in a dry-skin kind of way but in a transfer-resistant kind of way). I think though it would be harder to go sheer with the TirTir than the True Match - a little more flexibility of coverage with the True Match. I love them both so none of this is meant as criticism - just differences for different wear scenarios :)

TirTir also has an Aura Glow version which seems better suited for dry skin types, but I haven’t tried it. I’m sure you’d have to love the dewy skin look though and sometimes it can accentuate texture and pores.
The white packaging My Glow is a 24 hour glowy dewy skin tint providing a natural your skin but better look. The silver packaging Aura Glow is a 72 hour Semi-Matte finish foundation. If you want more medium coverage go with the silver Aura Glow. Hope this helps!
It might get a smidge darker but I don't really notice it (I've had a few comments to that effect though so I think some people are noticing a shade change). I've worn it both ways now and it works with or without powder for me! I prefer not to powder it.
As you are mentioning the bronzer on your forehead, please could you do a video on your favourite bronzers. I just cannot find one which doesn’t look orange on my skin.
It's a very small list!! LOL for the same reason! The Balm Desert is my hands down forever favorite. It's got a reddish undertone which is the most natural for fair skin because many of us turn reddish after sun exposure and don't really turn bronze/tan. The new one from Essence - Kissed by the Light in Star Kissed leans reddish too. Another favorite that I think was recently discontinued but I saw some still at CVS the other day is the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Bronze It. And.... that concludes the list of bronzers that don't pull orange on me. 🤣 I have some others that are wearable but they're just not quite right in undertone.

YesStyle has the Matte( in the green container) they also have a glow cushion foundation as well as Baby Face which is in Pink container. I’ve only seen it reviewed by one person a few months ago. I’ve got the satin one in my cart, but have yet to purchase it. I too have dry skin and so many foundations settle in my wrinkles and crinkles 😢. Anyhoo, great review as you always bring us. Hello! I'm wearing all of them - the Wet n Wild retractable is in my tightline/upper waterline, and the What's Up Beauty liquid liners are my upper and lower lash lines.
I've had good luck with the Clinique foundations I've tried, though I don't reach for them super-often as they aren't as much coverage as I tend to wear on a daily basis. But they perform really well and look nice on me!
I didn’t notice any smell🤷🏼♀️. Also you should use the applicator which is designed for that purpose and uses far less product when done properly. But having said that I think it looked great on you. I love it, so far 😳😳🤣

Hi Krista! I was heavily debating too! I have to be at work at 4:00am, and this foundation makes my life and early mornings so much faster and easier. I can’t believe I can be done with my makeup in a minute and look flawless. There’s definitely a learning curve to using this. I definitely played with it for a few weeks and how I applied it, but so worth it for those busy and long days! 😊
Oh my goodness... every car I've ever had has foundation on the black trim that doesn't was wash off! I dont understand why!!? (As I wash my hands with soap after I do my make-up!??? 🙃) Great review, thanks! I don't know if I'm imagining it... but... has it very very slightly oxidised? Its hard to tell. I suffer from redness in my face from god knows what - when I talk, get excited whatever else.. it’s so weird. I know it’s not rosecia. I went to get a facial from someone who basically put 1 mask on my face, left for 20 minutes, came back, did another mask and came back in 10 minutes- that was the facial. $60! Then she had the nerve to tell me I have rosecia. I was so mad. I am 45 years old, I would know by now if I had it or not. I just have very sensitive skin. Plus I am very pale redhead with green eyes that’s why my skin is such a nightmare. Anyways, I just wanted to share that with you because I understand what you meant.
My skin is SUPER reactive - like, I talk, it turns red. Exercise, turns red. Sit with my chin resting on my hand- that whole area turns red. Scratch a tiny itch - red like I just got attacked by a tiger. Half of me wanting to wear foundation all the time is so my face isn't turning red randomly all day long! 🤣

I looked at your other video’s you recently did and they weren’t as white looking as this video but we saw this makeup look all the way thru. I love this blush on you, I followed the link you shared and saw it was the lawless blush. it almost looks like the nars sweet cheeks blush in daydream - which i just ordered so here's to hoping it's a dupe! Also have you looked into getting allergy shots? i've heard good things
I never tried that Nars blush but from pictures it does look similar! I love the undertone. I haven't done allergy shots but half of the problem is I get inconsistent with taking the Nasacort. If I stick to it, it works well, but I get in my head that I don't need it some days 🤣 and I am wrong lol.
Avenues and kitchen foundations for a long time and I can tell you they do best with the poof provided in a pat roll Techni like press and then kind of role and then you know padded out here and there but that’s the best way to get it like nice and smooth over the pores and everything like that and one big saying is you can’t go in with you much you may not see it on the applicator but it’s there is still like two tabs with the whole surface area of the sponge and then go from there I don’t know how it turns out but I’m kind of an expert in this and I can promise you most people have the best results with that

You should proofread your comments before posting them, and how about trying to add some punctuation, most people have the best results with that lol. I am kind of an expert at interpreting crap comments but, it’s probably pretty challenging for others.
I have super dry skin not sure how it would work but I do wear EL Double Wear so do you think this would work for me I am sensitive to fragrance does it fade or do you smell it all day!
The fragrance does fade (I'd say by the time I'm done with my makeup I can't smell it anymore). If you can wear ELDW I think you'd be totally fine with this one as far as dry skin goes. I'd say this might even be a smide more on the hydrating side than the Double Wear.
I love all your videos, but right away, I knew you were applying this wrong. Use the provided pad and definitely don’t tap into this as many times as you did 😊.

Sadly, I will have to pass on trying this. I don't use any skincare products that have fragrance. I have no idea why companies put fragrance in skin care.
I didn’t care for this, unfortunately. And no, I’m def not using too much, despite what the internet tells me! 😂 Even the thinnest layer is just too thick and heavy for my liking and I can’t get past the soapy detergent scent! I think you look fab in it though!
I get so fed up with fragranced skin care and makeup. I gave up years ago Clarins products because of their scents. I was assured by the SA that it was all natural. I cannot believe that there are flowers or plants which smell that strong! and make you feel unwell.

Do you regularly clean the poof to avoid bacteria and contamination?
@@lady_v_101 I only apply to clean skin and am the only one using it. I’ve washed it once with soap and water and let it dry. It was fine.

I have found when I get polka dot pores on my nose and chin, I can use a foundation brush in a stipling motion and reduce or eliminate the look.

Hi Shelly, after this review, I ordered the foundation on Yesstyle for only £16. It took ages to arrive, but I was excited when I got it, in shade 23N, sand.
I was annoyed, because it looked so dark and orange, but I had to try it on. As I was applying it, it made me look orange; to be fair more peach than orange.
And then something happened. After 10 minutes or so, I looked at my face, and lo and behold, no more orangey face, just my real skin colour, light neutral, slightly cool. This was the reverse of oxidation!!!?
By the way, according to some reviews, I pressed the puff very lightly against the sponge and then tapped it on my face in a few places, as you would with a standard foundation, and then spread it all over with my hands. But if I would use more product, I would have spread it with a brush.
As you have demonstrated, the foundation stays put and beautiful all day, well at least for 10 hours.
The price if this foundation on Yesstyle varies all the time, but it is very reasonable for what it is. I would say US$20 or around £16 in the UK.

I have combination skin & deep acne scars on my cheeks so applying foundation sometimes drives me insane since I cannot predict how my skin will act that day 🥲 I recently purchased this tirtir cushion, my favorite way to apply this is by using the puff that came with it, trying my best to pat the foundation (thin amount), then finish blending it with a beauty blender
I watched a few reviews on this foundation lol….andthere are multiple variations of this from matte to one for dry skin. I am curious what the dry skin formula is like.

Shelly, I’m binge watching your channel today. Tirtir looks fantastic on you. I wear the shade Vanilla and love it. Like you, I don’t use the sponge that’s included. I have to be comfortable applying makeup and I prefer a brush or damp sponge. Love the completed look. So look forward to seeing a visit from Ziva!

If it is slightly dry on you, it will not be suitable for me unfortunately. However, it is not an available here in the UK, so I have no regrets.

The silicone sponge makes q difference in application you should use it the blend out with sponge or brush but push in woth the silicone pad

How does this compare to L’Oréal true match serum, in terms of finish and feel once dry?
I would say just a tiny smidge less dewy (probably the same to most people, but since you're asking about finish I bet you'd notice the difference) and feel - where True Match I feel like is sometimes on the verge of wanting it set with powder, the TirTir I don't get that feeling. The TirTir sets a little bit drier (not in a dry-skin kind of way but in a transfer-resistant kind of way). I think though it would be harder to go sheer with the TirTir than the True Match - a little more flexibility of coverage with the True Match. I love them both so none of this is meant as criticism - just differences for different wear scenarios :)

TirTir also has an Aura Glow version which seems better suited for dry skin types, but I haven’t tried it. I’m sure you’d have to love the dewy skin look though and sometimes it can accentuate texture and pores.
Is that the silver or white package?
The white packaging My Glow is a 24 hour glowy dewy skin tint providing a natural your skin but better look. The silver packaging Aura Glow is a 72 hour Semi-Matte finish foundation. If you want more medium coverage go with the silver Aura Glow. Hope this helps!

It might get a smidge darker but I don't really notice it (I've had a few comments to that effect though so I think some people are noticing a shade change). I've worn it both ways now and it works with or without powder for me! I prefer not to powder it.

As you are mentioning the bronzer on your forehead, please could you do a video on your favourite bronzers. I just cannot find one which doesn’t look orange on my skin.
It's a very small list!! LOL for the same reason! The Balm Desert is my hands down forever favorite. It's got a reddish undertone which is the most natural for fair skin because many of us turn reddish after sun exposure and don't really turn bronze/tan. The new one from Essence - Kissed by the Light in Star Kissed leans reddish too. Another favorite that I think was recently discontinued but I saw some still at CVS the other day is the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Bronze It. And.... that concludes the list of bronzers that don't pull orange on me. 🤣 I have some others that are wearable but they're just not quite right in undertone.

But love that you demonstrated using a sponge and a brush with application. Nowwww; would you Please review UnLeisha Cushion Foundation? YesStyle has the Matte( in the green container) they also have a glow cushion foundation as well as Baby Face which is in Pink container. I’ve only seen it reviewed by one person a few months ago. I’ve got the satin one in my cart, but have yet to purchase it. I too have dry skin and so many foundations settle in my wrinkles and crinkles 😢. Anyhoo, great review as you always bring us. I've had good luck with the Clinique foundations I've tried, though I don't reach for them super-often as they aren't as much coverage as I tend to wear on a daily basis. But they perform really well and look nice on me!

I didn’t notice any smell🤷🏼♀️. Also you should use the applicator which is designed for that purpose and uses far less product when done properly. But having said that I think it looked great on you. I love it, so far 😳😳🤣

Hi Krista! I was heavily debating too! I have to be at work at 4:00am, and this foundation makes my life and early mornings so much faster and easier. I can’t believe I can be done with my makeup in a minute and look flawless. There’s definitely a learning curve to using this. I definitely played with it for a few weeks and how I applied it, but so worth it for those busy and long days! 😊

I suffer from redness in my face from god knows what - when I talk, get excited whatever else.. it’s so weird. I know it’s not rosecia. I went to get a facial from someone who basically put 1 mask on my face, left for 20 minutes, came back, did another mask and came back in 10 minutes- that was the facial. $60! Then she had the nerve to tell me I have rosecia. I was so mad. I am 45 years old, I would know by now if I had it or not. I just have very sensitive skin. Plus I am very pale redhead with green eyes that’s why my skin is such a nightmare.
Anyways, I just wanted to share that with you because I understand what you meant.
My skin is SUPER reactive - like, I talk, it turns red. Exercise, turns red. Sit with my chin resting on my hand- that whole area turns red. Scratch a tiny itch - red like I just got attacked by a tiger. Half of me wanting to wear foundation all the time is so my face isn't turning red randomly all day long! 🤣
Hi Shelly, so good to see you and I loved your video. Let’s talk about your eyebrows, do you think your bangs brushed against the makeup-tir tir and then transported it to your brows? I looked at your other video’s you recently did and they weren’t as white looking as this video but we saw this makeup look all the way thru. Well, anyway try your Maybelline brow again without using that foundation tir tir and see what happens at the end of the day. Please keep us informed.

I love this blush on you, I followed the link you shared and saw it was the lawless blush. it almost looks like the nars sweet cheeks blush in daydream - which i just ordered so here's to hoping it's a dupe! Also have you looked into getting allergy shots? i've heard good things
I never tried that Nars blush but from pictures it does look similar! I love the undertone. I haven't done allergy shots but half of the problem is I get inconsistent with taking the Nasacort. If I stick to it, it works well, but I get in my head that I don't need it some days 🤣 and I am wrong lol.
Does anyone know if this has spf? Some websites say it’s spf 40, but that’s nowhere on the package.
My package doesn't say anything about SPF so I am assuming it does not.

Avenues and kitchen foundations for a long time and I can tell you they do best with the poof provided in a pat roll Techni like press and then kind of role and then you know padded out here and there but that’s the best way to get it like nice and smooth over the pores and everything like that and one big saying is you can’t go in with you much you may not see it on the applicator but it’s there is still like two tabs with the whole surface area of the sponge and then go from there I don’t know how it turns out but I’m kind of an expert in this and I can promise you most people have the best results with that

You should proofread your comments before posting them, and how about trying to add some punctuation, most people have the best results with that lol. I am kind of an expert at interpreting crap comments but, it’s probably pretty challenging for others.
I have super dry skin not sure how it would work but I do wear EL Double Wear so do you think this would work for me I am sensitive to fragrance does it fade or do you smell it all day!
The fragrance does fade (I'd say by the time I'm done with my makeup I can't smell it anymore). If you can wear ELDW I think you'd be totally fine with this one as far as dry skin goes. I'd say this might even be a smide more on the hydrating side than the Double Wear.
Off topic, but have you tried the Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 50 lipgloss?

I didn’t care for this, unfortunately. And no, I’m def not using too much, despite what the internet tells me! 😂 Even the thinnest layer is just too thick and heavy for my liking and I can’t get past the soapy detergent scent! I think you look fab in it though!

I gave up years ago Clarins products because of their scents. I was assured by the SA that it was all natural. I cannot believe that there are flowers or plants which smell that strong! and make you feel unwell.
That response always bothers me too because not everything that is natural is good for our skin, especially facial skin.
I would love to see you follow along with Robert Welsh and his suggestions on how to apply. I know you’re super busy, but I think you would see a big difference.
