I did actually check out Winter on a Twitch live stream but I'm afraid I didn't think it quite right to edit out and publish as a standalone reaction video on this channel. I didn't really vibe with it tbh. Hard to articulate why.
I don't remember where I heard this description of death metal, but someone once described the genre as "extreme sports for music...similar to dirtbiking, skydiving, etc. as it is full throttle and executed at a high level performance" and I couldn't agree more. If you feel like riding the deathcore wave a little longer I recommend Brand of Sacrifice's "Animal" or Archspire's "Golden Mouth of Ruin" as more 'fun' deathcore songs.
if u enjoyed this one ... check out their like actually heavy ones...(yes this was heavy af but it was downtempo heavy ... they have their own tier i call "distant heavy") songs such as : Heirs of Torment , Hellmouth , Eternal Lament...
If you want to dig deeper into deathcore, maybe check out some Brand of Sacrifice? I'm not a huge deathcore fan typically, but I've liked everything these guys have put out, the Lifebood album especially was really good. I would recommend maybe Demon King for starters, but you could really pick anything from the last 3 years or so and it would be great.

Have you heard "the poetic edda" or "winter" by disembodied tyrant/synestia? If not, it's deathcore, but you may like it. It's absurd, in a good way.

Archspire is Technical Death Metal with an emphasis on speed. Definitely not Deathcore.

I’m the same! Brand is the only deathcore band I listen to, because they are usually interesting musically, and Kyle is an amazing vocalist.
