Amazing❤🎉🎉🎉 0:33 Pride gives effort. If we don't get discouraged about whether we can do it, but try with the belief that we can do it, that will be a great strength👏👏👏👏👏
Steve, once again thank you. I just love this vlog format, your honesty and integrity. You deserve all the success and happiness for what you share for others. ❤
I’m hoping you have a sense of humour 😉 I had a chuckle at apologising for a typo, with a typo 🤣🤣🤣 no criticism here… I appreciate your best & aiming for even better. The energy you put out in the world, far exceeds a typo here & there… Thank you
I believe that this is the real Diary of the CEO. Honestly this format is a lot more like a video diary and I think this is amazing. Great effort and lovely energy input into the world. The world needs more people like this and I hope you will keep your alignment and keep doing what you do. Congratulations!
I appreciate how Steven is able to remain so present and SO intentional with language… you can see when he catches himself, and sometimes even corrects himself when he doesn’t like the word choice. I respect that so much. I wish I could connect with like-minded Steven followers! There should be an app for all of us to connect as a community.
How Steven manages to pack so much into a day is amazing. Lots of creative people in this episode, bringing their positive energy into the world. Such a great idea about the cash card. I look forward to finding out how this formulates with the Red Cross. 🙂
Thank you for your initiating the donation landing page! I believe even more people will donate knowing it will go directly into another’s card to help them, making the quickest impact and bringing hope in a time of hopelessness! God bless, Steven!🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for dedicating your time to those in Turkey and your initiative to take action to really help people. Thanks to all those who are continually helping ❤️
2 videos in one day absolutely dreaming!! Loved your Ivan Toney interview and now this to finish the day. Perfect. Love your work, Keep smashing it and creating great content 🖤 Thank you.
I’ve found myself compelled to take notes every time I watch. There are incredible threads of wisdom woven throughout the entirety of these episodes. Seeing the humanity of it all is humbling and expanding. Steven and team, thank you!
TIP: You should include bloopers or some of the chat before and or after the DOAC with each guest. The little snippet of speaking with Frank Lampard about his holiday and watching him awkwardly walk in to the studio was great
This episode was really special man, that girl that started crying when she saw you was just extra special. I can't wait to see more of these vlogs in the upcoming weeks they're so insightful. Thanks Steven. 28:19 was another crazy special moment in this vlog.. speaking pure facts..
I cried when Gabrielle cried because she said everything I would want to say to you if I had the opportunity to meet you. I love and appreciate the work you do more than you’ll ever know! Thank you for another amazing episode here and on the podcast 🫶🏽
Fantastic initiative with the Red Cross Steven, thank you for championing this, it will make a massive difference - looking forward to seeing it come to fruition! 👏👏👏❤
I was born and raised in London and I am currently living in Istanbul. I cannot explain how much I appreciate this video. Creating awareness about this devastating situation and making effort to help as much as you can is all that Turkey wants and needs. It was an unimaginable disaster hope that with the help from people like you they can find hope in life again. 🙏🏻
Please please please make sure you live and work in earthquake resilient buildings. Please have your earthquake bag ready, please talk to loved ones about all possible scenarios and what you'll do in them (incl. communication networks). Look at the street you live in, look at the buildings, sadly look at those that might collapse - how and where will you evacuate to, think about meds, water, toilet/hygiene, basic food etc. I was in Istanbul in 1999, like thousands, we slept in our cars for a week but even back then it was really difficult to find a safe spot away from buildings. There were 8 million people in Istanbul back then, so please be prepared. 😿
Everyone on this video who sees this post please take the time to Google podcast awards and give Steven your vote for podcast of the year let's show him just how great he is 😍
From Turkiye, thank you so much for this video. The earthquakes of February 6th were sadly no surprise, scientists had been warning for years, but the devastation was .... beyond horrific and heartbreaking. While the millions have to rebuild their lives and grief for the loved ones and lives they had, the reality of the whole of Turkiye being an 'earthquake country' makes the situation even more dire. In and around cities/areas such as Istanbul, Izmir, Bingöl, Bitlis, in fact any part of Turkey, devastating earthquakes will continue to happen. So for those visiting, please be aware and make sure you stay in earthquake resilient buildings. Thank you once again to everyone who traveled to the area to volunteer, save human and animal lives and for millions who donated to help the people in need. Teşekkürler 🙏
Love the part about understanding your privileged to leave that situation knowing you will return to safety, but using your great privilege to give back and help them is just exactly what this world needs more of!!
This video is the best yet. Great video making by Will. Stephen, you really are a fantastic role model to young people but I’d say especially young boys and men. Money will only last a lifetime, positive influence however, can last generations.
The reaction from people meeting you proves the path that you walk is the right one and for the greater good. You truly are an inspiration and a thoroughly genuine person.
Oh man, in tears at the end. Thank you for sharing your life with us. That plan to work with the red cross & donate directly on to the cash cards sounds incredible. I believe you'll make it happen.
This 3rd vlog was totally jaw dropping. The amount and variation of work in your day (and your teams day!) is incredible. Great insight into what you drew from the anwers given to you in the shower interview. Outstanding tips you gave Will i Am on marketing/targeting podcast audiences. Powerful coverage of the devastation left by the earthquake was 💔 to watch. The guys answer of "Safety" will stay in my mind forever. I look forward to ep4.
I’m a LONG time diary of ceo listener. From 🇨🇦🍁Toronto But this NEW pod is 🔥🔥🔥🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾. SB “ ROCS the casbar”. Thank u 🙏 soooo F’n much truly the BEST pod going. Try too get over too Toronto! There’s a BIG steak 🥩 dinner .& 1st class tour of my city 🌆 waiting ??? Keep making epic stuff
I am from Hatay, although I live somewhere else, all my family and beloved ones live there. I can't thank you enough for getting the attention to the earthquake region again... We received so much volunteers and support right after the earthquake, but now it is almost forgotten, but more support is needed now as the people are still not living only trying to survive. Thank you so much again ❤
@@DOACBehindTheDiary It has been one year after the earthquake in Turkey, and the needs are still huge. Would appreciate if you could remind people and mobilize any kind of support 🙏
This is brilliant. It’s so interesting to watch and man do you know how to market yourself and endear yourself with people. I do not get star stuck but you are seriously meant for greatness.
Seriously good content. Amazed at how much work Steven can cram in to one day without looking stressed or telling everyone he meets how busy his day is.
I love the idea of giving direct to the people that need it knowing 💯 % of the money goes to them & not some millionaire CEO that's being paid to run the charity
I loved this vlog 👍🏻. However, what I love even more is your response to the situation in Turkey and your initiative to create a “card” where 100% of the money donated will go directly to those in need! Bravo. I won’t drone on about my thoughts on “Charitable Organizations” I’ve witnessed over the last several decades and their utter mismanagement of the donations. Your idea Steven - I could/would contribute to that. Well done - I hope to see this come to fruition 🙏🏻💖
You should talk to Bethenny Frankel from New York, she has a disaster relief effort that does exactly that. Great podcast as always I get all your content from RUclips.
I really want to work for flight story as someone new to the marketing industry, but what you said about the lady candidate with 3 decades experience of marketing that’s pretty awesome like imagine what say a team Or individual even new to the industry could learn from being over her shoulder, and especially as I know many employers only really want to hire very young for marketing industries so that’s pretty awesome Steven I really vibe with that.
That says alot about Steven, that he recognises experience in people older than himself and doesn't just surround himself with people of his own age all the time
How on earth do you sustain your energy levels? I guess HUEL to the max😄 Loved the realness and rawness. Thank you for shining a light on Turkey🙏🏻 The most ironic coincidence happened whilst listening to the father talk about his goal for the future. He had chosen the word SAFETY….. 21 days ago whilst sitting with my life coach, living in a first world nation with SO MUCH PRIVILEGE I too chose the goal SAFETY!!! This is gonna truly help me self reflect. 🙏🏻 Your biggest pommie from Aussie Fan❤
I was speaking to my husband yesterday about Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Sadly it does not surprise me that Safety was his goal, without Safety none of us can Self Actualise which is ultimately the reason I believe for us all being here. Thank you Steven for sharing your journey. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
The reason I keep coming back to you is; as a person you are interesting, likeable and honest. As for your topics they give us an inside into subjects we usually do not see and your interviews are always very good. Keep up the good work and thank you for educating us. Best wishes from a 70 year old in Iceland
This is invaluable content!!! As someone else said here... This is the 'REAL' Diary of the CEO. The other channel(s) should be renamed to Interview with a CEO or something!
Fantastic- you’re a special soul Steven 🙏 I watch every DOAC because I too am fascinated by people (leadership is my specialty) but these behind the scenes videos show just how committed you are, as you said, to acknowledge privilege and the responsibility that comes with that - and use your influence for good. Thank you for being authentic and driven, compassionate and courageous. Just what the next generation need to be inspired by. 🙏
What a vlog, what production (and for me that counts), they’ll always be naysayers Steven, but keep doing what you do, there’s no doubt you’re a positive ➕ force in the world 🌍 Also love ❤ the time you spend with people after ‘gigs’ just as you did when we met at Wharf Talks, after talking turtle necks 😁 Oooh look 👀 new RUclips thang 36:11 time marking, suppose it proves I got to the end ☺️
If only all privileged people would have this level of awareness and sensitivity, sense of responsibility, creativity and proactivity, the world would be so much better! Subscribed. Inspired and looking forward to participate in that awesome initiative with red cross. That is taking Kiva-like initiatives to a whole new level. Well thought! ❤
Steven, you continue to be my role model in every sense! Your ability to inspire is unmatched. Keep thriving and continue to keep us in the loop - your content is exactly what the world needs. A few noteworthy points from this video: - The way you approach interview questions is absolutely fascinating - lots to learn from that. - The depth of your conversation with Simon (from the podcast but also from the live show) was truly remarkable. - Your initiative with the British Red Cross is amazing! I am looking forward to what it is coming up. - It is admiring how approachable you are with your audience. - It was very nice to catch a glimpse of your partner in the video. Is Sunday close enough to watch the next episode? 😅
Hi. I’ve worked in cards and payments and if I can help in any way with the British Red Cross initiative - I’d be happy to help (background - Apple (Apple Pay), Worldpay/ FIS, Lloyds Banking Group!
Being eager to act is the source of all success. So dare to work until perfection is achieved. Even if some of the traps are missing, it is not a fault but the lack of talent is the fault. A person who lives for a living can survive by working hard. Hard work has the power to change destiny❤🙌👏👏👏👌👌🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just wish someone would actually sit in the mud with me... Walking in circles around the mud and toe dipping doesn't make me feel heard, seen, or even really cared for... I've always thought people don't really care, or don't really want to know how someone is doing... I'm now starting to think people just don't know how to deal with feeling uncomfortable, or uncertain especially when it's not their own situation...
This video is the best yet. Great video making by Will. Stephen, you really are a fantastic role model to young people but I’d say especially young boys and men. Money will only last a lifetime, positive influence however, can last generations.
Fantastic video mate, thanks for your honesty and for sharing these. The editor in me saw a spelling error on "displaced", but don't fret. It's small. These things happen. The video is perfect. Thanks for everything you do.
Let’s try and always call it the “Turkey-Syria” Earthquake as Syrians suffered the same natural disaster and received a very different global response. For a host of reasons, but I think we can acknowledge them with the name of the Earthquake and as it will be mentioned and remembered in the future
Hi Steven, I think the Red Cross debit card fundraising idea is a great one, in principle - But I'd urge you not to underestimate the ignorance of the British people: In my experience, most British people would assume that the money is mostly going to be spent on crap that people don't need, because they'll be using how British people spend money as their point of reference. Do it anyway - But be ready.
Fast feedback: almost didn't click on this one just because of the thumbnail - way too clickbaity it didn't do justice to the episode which was actually great. Judging by the stats I may not be the only one. It's a trial and error process so I wish you and the team good luck on fixing this!!
Love the idea if you could guarantee the % is going to the recipients. I know from my own prior research into charitable organisations, most charities soak up a huge amount in inefficient admin costs before being distributed to actual cause. Out of respect to you, your contributors and crisis victims please please please ensure you align with the right charity or simply create your own charitty...it may be preferable, I would imagine alot of your listeners are disenfranchised with traditional charities, the charity account records speak volumes...sure you and your team know this and hopefully your listeners support you, I certainly will and do....lets move away from certain models that can be questionable
Yes, it is a great idea to give money directly to the people affected by the earthquake. There is a lot of corruption in the Turkish charities. One of the main Turkish charities was caught selling their tents to another charity instead of just giving them directly to the people who needed them. It breaks my heart. I live in Turkey and the earthquakes have certainly traumatised everyone but it seems that the same thing will happen again in Istanbul soon and no lessons have been learned. Not only do people live with the impacts of previous earthquakes, but they also know that nothing will change and it could happen again.
You're podcasts are great and I learn a lot for them to better myself but I've never got around to hitting subscribe for some reason, probably because they are so well advertised to me anyway, but this had made me subscribe and I can't wait until the cashcard is up, I will definitely be donating. What a great guy you are.
This is how things happen. This extraordinary committed and humble BTS will become an amazing vehicle Steven. Thank you for your continued hard work and humanity x
The father wanting safety for the future really hit me. While we enjoy the privilege of aiming for self-actualisation, refugees have to aim for the bare minimum.
Ahh, you missed out being a good podcaster means being a good listener, putting people at ease by being real and caring about who your guest actually is... all the things you do... back to the vlog 🤣
I was a talking to a friend today who didn’t know you Steven was … I was shocked ?! Lol She asks who is he then ? My answer was he’s going to change the world! He is going to change the world 🌍 (she’s still none the wiser 😂)
What struck me the most about this episode was how you use your success to create connections, to link things, people, institutions, to spread 'the word'.. In this episode, 'the word' is not about typical power and strength, but about having courage, becoming strong by acknowledging the 'vulnerability' of loneliness whether it's talking frankly about it to a rapt audience or in the intimacy of discreetly holding hands. The Red Cross initiative sounds fantastic, a simple, direct way to empower those who have lost everything. I think GiveDirectly have a similar ethos. Surely, this must be the way forward. Thank you for another thought provoking episode!
Totally agree with the debit card idea as when there is a disaster all people rely on red cross handouts and have no say in what to buy etc it takes their life away and into anothers hands and I have never liked this that they have no control over anything and that charity is dictating everything and I am skeptical of charity on advert on TV as to where money goes...so you are right and I thought this all along.....I have gripes with some charities like Oxfam who do not want to employ and pay a pat tester to test products that would rather sit in a room for a year rather than make them money...this is a true case from my local Oxfam shop when talking to staff....my oxfam no longer sell electrical item because they don't want to pay a retired pat tester a few quid....awful.....so I have a gripe with some charities and they need to get their act together....and I am not talking all charity here but we want to know you are doing a good thing when we give....and we want you to be straight up with your agenda....and where our money will go etc
I'm loving these episodes so much. It's so damn inspirational and so amazing to see the good work going on behind the scenes. Will's doing a great job! 🙂
I’m outside of the UK so all I know of you centres around landing on your RUclips channels, & this one which gives insight behind & beyond the interviewer. The more I learn about you, the more I admire what you do. Thank you… & the cash card concept is perfection. I could really back something that gives survivors dignity & 100% control of their recovery.
Hey Steven, thanks alot for shedding light on the circumstances in Turkey. My family is originally from Hatay and we have many relatives there, media coverage has gone to zero in Germany (where I live). The people who are still suffering shouldn't be forgotten as they will need help for years to come.
I truly believe you are the most impactful person currently on the internet and your influence will help make the world a better place little by little. Thank you for all you do and attitude towards people ❤❤
How the hell arent you completely socially burnt out after a day like that I really have to limit my direct face to face time otherwise the next 24 hours are a write off in terms of energy lol
Thank you Steven for all the amazing work you and your team doing, heartbreaking to see what earthquake survivors are going through, i personally 100% trust you that every penny which is donated to earthquake survivors will reach them❤
Really enjoying these vlogs! Loved your insightful tips for marketing a podcast and the idea of coming up with a creative concept that will get people talking to spread the word about it. I find it incredible that you managed to record 3 of your podcast episodes in one day, and all without a nap in between! 😂 It was also super sweet to see how emotional Gabrielle was at meeting you. It made me tear up a little too! So sad to see the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey and how those poor families have been affected. Love your idea of setting up a landing page to send money to these families in need directly! Already looking forward to the next episode!! 😃

I’m hoping you have a sense of humour 😉 I had a chuckle at apologising for a typo, with a typo 🤣🤣🤣 no criticism here… I appreciate your best & aiming for even better. The energy you put out in the world, far exceeds a typo here & there… Thank you
I was just going to point that 16:15 typo out and ask if you needed me on your team hehe. Love your work!
I thought the typos were on purposes, like hey, are you paying attention??
I believe that this is the real Diary of the CEO. Honestly this format is a lot more like a video diary and I think this is amazing. Great effort and lovely energy input into the world. The world needs more people like this and I hope you will keep your alignment and keep doing what you do. Congratulations!
Doing that video message for the kids and actually making an effort with what he said was a touch of class

Steven has so much love in his huge heart. Its his secret weapon.
I know it’s still terrible but you said this was the worst earthquake in 20 years. Not true, the Haitian earthquake in 2010 was more horrific.
Steven putting in WORK! I'd be ready to sleep by 3pm 😂😂
Thanks for the amazing insights however Turkey scenes was so powerful 😢
Your Red cash card idea is genius! Good luck implementing it. It will change peoples lives ❣
The father wanting safety for the future really hit me.
While we enjoy the privilege of aiming for self-actualisation, refugees have to aim for the bare minimum.
Yes, yes, yes to the cash cards. Brilliant and thank you.
I love the idea with the cards ❤
Maybe even the name can be "love card" or "heart card"
Amazing episode ❤
Safety... that was the first word that came to mind before i heard it... I think you're on to something here... excited to hear more 👍
I'm loving these episodes so much.
It's great seeing you do what you do. Hope I can join and make a difference too 1 day.
One day Stephen, I will work for you. I don't know in what, but one day!
Hey Steven, thanks alot for shedding light on the circumstances in Turkey. My family is originally from Hatay and we have many relatives there, media coverage has gone to zero in Germany (where I live). The people who are still suffering shouldn't be forgotten as they will need help for years to come.
The typos were the only thing I didn’t like about this. Get that fixed and it’ll be great.
Steven, you've passed 50k subs so... new video every Sunday?
the show is diary of a ceo but why do you use an IPAD? should be IPAD of a CEO
I truly believe you are the most impactful person currently on the internet and your influence will help make the world a better place little by little. Thank you for all you do and attitude towards people ❤❤
Awwww Stephen you are one of the good ones 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🔥❤️🇬🇧xxx
Charity debit card is a great idea. Speak to triodos bank , in my opinion the best bank in the world.
How the hell arent you completely socially burnt out after a day like that
I really have to limit my direct face to face time otherwise the next 24 hours are a write off in terms of energy lol
So so inspiring and the cash cards for the families in Turkey such a good idea.
These behind the diary are absolutely brilliant, thank you Steven for sharing this with us😊
50K subs already! Congrats!
Man I wish I could like this guy a million times and it reaches him a million times as it’s reached us!
wild that its 3 DEEP convos in one day plus other stuff
You got the deal done, 52k subs now u have to post every Sunday for a year
Amazing video! Learning so much from you 😄
Thank you Steven for all the amazing work you and your team doing, heartbreaking to see what earthquake survivors are going through, i personally 100% trust you that every penny which is donated to earthquake survivors will reach them❤
Really enjoying these vlogs! 😃
Great videos! The typos hurt a little but great content nonetheless 🖤
Amazing work! Can't wait to see how the initiative comes together.
Nobody could say this guy doesn’t work extremely hard amazing and I love that he’s a hugger it’s so important.
