This video describes different tips and tricks I've learned wearing waders while fly fishing. Make fly fishing and wearing waders more fun with these hacks!
I noticed another item from your video that is easy to keep in your vehicle...a cheap folding chair. Not only for getting your gear on and off but a comfortable place to take a lunch break. From your website list, the plastic bin is an excellent idea for keeping your vehicle clean after a day of fishing. Great tips! Thank you very much.
Good point!
Fleece pants are a must for those cold waters! Great tips.
Thanks staying comfy means more fishing time.🐟🐟🐟
Great advice about opposing release buckles around the neck...thx!
I'm sure I'll be using the opposing release buckles around the neck tomorrow lol
That’s for sure, a really good one 👍🏻
Game changer😁
Except what do you do then with all the junk you stuffed inside your waders. :D
Thanks 🐟👍
Thank you for sharing this
You are so welcome
Thanks for sharing.
No problem! Tight Lines!
Any tips for not having air trapped in the waders? Just sat down with a pair on and felt like I was on a damn air mattress. And yes, I'd say they fit well, they come on and off nice and easy, I'm able to kick my legs up, just dont know why I cant get rid of the bubble in my calf area.
Interesting, sometimes the clothes your wearing underneath can make a difference. I usually have fleece on. Tight lines! 🐟🎣
@GuideRecommended I'll see! If anything I just heard a trick is to walk in, before you clip your belt because the water will make the air come up and out. Which I'm not sure is safe lol.
Thank you!
I never thought about the how-to-pee hack. Thanks!
Glad to help
super tip
Six if you count: don't pee on your waders 😂
I love it! 🐟
The law on net handle length was recended in 2018.
I appreciate the update!
👍 the last hack with the jacket, was the best😂
I agree!!!
Yep... And with my luck "that feeling" always hits the second I reach the middle of the creek... after walking over rocks for 10 mins lol
Great thanks
Thanks 🐟👍
Is water supposed to get in you boots, cause I don't know if they're just like that or if I need new waders
Good hacks mate thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks 🐟👍
Instructions unclear. I peed on my waders.
In all seriousness, great tips. I wear a microfleece pant as well, especially now when water temps are creeping into the mid 50's.
Never thought about stowing things in my waders like that. That's pretty handy. I got into wading this year and I've already streamlined my setup quite a lot. From a bulky backpack with way too much tackle to a fishing PFD and a waist belt with pockets. It makes such a difference when everything is easily accessible.
😂😂 Thanks Owen, I got my chuckle for the day. I keep trying to simplify and organize my outfit as well. I think with more time on the water, you get a chance to realize what's important.
@GuideRecommended there's nothing like being 30 feet in, and you break a line and realize you left your tackle bag on the bank 😂😂😂😂
I never noticed the different straps on waders
Thanks for watching, using the snaps like that really helps.😃🐟
liked and subscribed 👍
Thanks for hitting the button!
you're not supposed to pee in your waders?
That's one way to warm up.🐟
🤙🤙🤙
Thanks 🐟👍
Is it bad to pee on your waders??!
Actually it warms you up for a little bit.
Actually it does have an upside. It warms your waders up but only for a few minutes.
Thank you Captain Obvious. Very insightful.
Thanks, Tight Lines!🐟
