      И вот ещё, вроде датчик не устанавливается на PTFE ленту(нарушается электропроводность цепи), только на герметик.

    Hey JMT,
    Once again a very informative video and expert skills.
    If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion, I would say with your slip couplers, measure the length of the coupler then subtract half and make your mark on the pipe/tubing, that way there is no guessing.
    Your repair is "a beautiful thing!"

    Viega calls for minimum distance of 5/8 of an inch between fittings on 1 1/2" , just an FYI

    Is that new flange copper or brass? It looks like steel which will eat away at that copper

    That connection, with those bolts, is it suitable for a hot water heater? It looks like steel.

    It’s strange watching different countries pipe fitting… in 36 years of pipe fitting in the UK I’ve never seen anyone use pipe dope on thread tape. I use it on string and hemp but I now mostly use Locktite 55 on everything.

  • @Wolfhound.
    @Wolfhound. Месяц назад +3

    should always wipe off the brush on the side of the rim of the container before you end up smearing a years worth of pipe dope on the fitting lol but great work regardless
