@ronnym1977 Thank you Ronny! Friday can go either way in this field haha got lucky I was able to patch this one up or it would have to he rebuilt. There's not much space anywhere to rebuild so a decent section would have needed to be made up. Thank you for watching & I'm glad you enjoy them. Stay tuned for more! 🤙🔧⚡️
Great video - i was wondering though, wouldn't it be easier to loosen that fitting from the flow side, so that you could just turn it and solder it from above
Nice job man, started to see you vids and good too see them. By any chance will you know how the Sequence of operations on a water source heat pump will go?
@@zekenzy6486 Thank you! You also have a nice weekend. This is a different building 😂 You can tell by how nice they keep their equipment and how modern it is compared to the last nightmare boiler room haha thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
@BenLemke-i8j I don't keep 50/50 solder on the truck but that wouldov been perfectly fine with this setup. True that! I usually only work with 95/5 when it comes to soldering which I don't do much of anymore. Definitely prefer to braze when possible or use the pro press. I usually braze for refrigerant piping or use the pro press for water lines/drains these days. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
@JumpermanTech yeah I was saying oh boy how do I get stuck into these nightmares but I didn't think u would get it cause of the water but as always u pulled it off well done and good job to ur apprentice always there for some 💪
@amoni1959 Thank you for asking! It's actually still in pain but I no longer have a splint on it. Did this job along with plenty others including the last nightmare plumbing job video. When I got hurt, I took the following day off but later in the day, I got an emergency call and both Christian & I both came in for repairs. It's getting better now and I believe I'll be fine. Thanks for watching! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
I guess that's pretty cheap in NYC operating budget terms :P If I see the boilers with a bunch of non high efficiency pumps running 24/4 365 at ~20-25ct/kWh a couple of fittings are very cheap.
Well done JMT

I did thousands of solder joint and I always capped my 2 in joints with 50/50 solder . Legal to do on process piping

You should let everyone know how much pro press fittings are versus solder. $200 for one 2" pro press elbow.
I guess that's pretty cheap in NYC operating budget terms :P If I see the boilers with a bunch of non high efficiency pumps running 24/4 365 at ~20-25ct/kWh a couple of fittings are very cheap.
