The latter half of the song takes on a different feeling for me...
The key of the song and the gushing romantic words of the beginning make this sound like a love ballad, but i almost feel like this is a love song about creativity. "You see now that nothing is final." The perfectionism that can often present with highly creative people can be paralyzing, but here this sounds like a surrender to the process of accepting that nothing is ever fully complete.
"You see how i make you smile..." What can be frustrating for our neurotic need to see things to completion is what makes music and other art beautiful. "I cut myself into vinyl."
Look i even put it out on a record and i can still work on it and change it.

You give me boxes and parameters, and i'm going to run away with them and lean into the unknown. and have fun doing it too.
These visuals are awesome
this fall i'm moving from my hometown to a bigger city to study so this album will be the perfect soundtrack for my new life

Dog Jr dropped too early from the truck by accident. Was going to the ‘Southern Sky’ music video dog world. He’s on a mission to cross the sea to get back to dog world cause he stuck in human world. He dances along the way. Humans don’t like dog man in their world for whatever reason so dog man shows up on their radar at the end. That’s my interpretation
