For those worried about the dog, he was alright! We brought him inside before it even started raining. He usually got really nervous and scared during storms, so he always had somebody to cuddle with to get more comfortable during storms. Sadly, he passed away in 2019 on new years day. He was a lovely dog named Cooper. ❤️
Its ok your family are safe, Cooper Rest in Peace 🌷
🎆1k✨
Bless his doggie soul. 😔
May he rest in peace then 🐶🐕
Damn man! Whoever that was that went out BAREFOOT to fetch that hail with lightning striking so close by, you sir were VERY GOD DAMN LUCKY to be alive! That was reckless going out barefoot with those conditions!
Also, RIP pooch...
Now THAT'S what I call a beautiful summer! 😍
Hell yeah!
But scary holy f! No it's not my type of summer, I prefer hot and sunny ones! Btw you're lucky enough to be able to enjoy stormy ones too which are one of my worst nightmares!
Frrrr
why would you want that too be your summer lol..
@@jasminewilson208 Maybe because I LOVE severe thunderstorms?
That is a mad thunderstorm. Looks awesome really. I would watch it forever
Good for you!
I love that this turned into a family event. Glad you're all safe!
P.S. You're not a true Midwesterner unless you go out in weather like this for amazing footage so thanks for representing us! ;)
That was awesome, here in England the storms are rarely that severe!
But still unsettling though
we had a thunderstorm like this video (apart from the hail) last night in birmingham.
@@aK-gy7nq Alabama?
@@animefan9944Come to America for some true unsettling thunderstorms
Fellow Wisconsinite here... that sky is scary as hell!
That's nuts! I've never seen hail that big! Scary, but so very cool! Thanks for the share! 👍🏻
Anyone who says that animals get nervous before dangerous storms, just take a look at the black dog in the neighbor's yard, who was completely unconcerned and happy beforehand.
And calm too
Yeah that's bullshit. He should have brought the dog inside.
If this happened in so California, we'd all die from fright. This is amazing.
If this were to happen in Southern California, it would happen during El Nino.
You are CORRECT !!! ... But here in Texas, it's just a afternoon shower ... Hehehe!!! ~~
Very true op. I live in S. California and l am terrified of storms like this.
It just happened in So Cal. 10/4/21. It was something to behold.
This is a nearly Daily routine here in South Florida during the summer months
*man talking*
9:06 Thunder: GET INSIDE NOW!!!!😠
Yikes
lightning all around:
run go go get it
lmao that was epic
From Wisconsin also and I've never seen the sky turn quite that green. Please stay inside with your doors and windows CLOSED whenever lightning is present, and definitely don't run outside to collect hail! Also teach storm safety to your kids! It could save their lives. 🌩️⛈️😱☮️
P. S. My niece was a caregiver for a boy who was struck by lightning. He was left paralyzed and couldn't speak. All it took was one second. Stay safe! ☮️
This is how storms look in my dreams! They are always approaching while I try to get home while navigating through the city.
I can't believe how fast it's approaching!! You're lucky you weren't struck by lightning.
Severe weather conditions are very ramping up more this summer and hurricane 🌀 season is few weeks away from the national hurricane 🌀 center
what an amazing view of that storm!!!!
Very jealous!!!!!!
Frrrrr
I am too!
This storm, classified as a derecho, dropped enough hail to bring out the snow plows in some parts of the Twin Cities. Two waves of pea-sized hail and plenty of horizontal rain in St.Paul as it surged through. There was a lot of siding and roof damage, as well as some broken windows from the hail.
Oof, I remember it
I'm scared😱🌧🌩🌪⚠️
Oh dear, how rude.
Why would anyone want that in their front garden ?
Standing outside in a lightning storm is like playing Russian Roulette.
Unless you have lightning powers
Yeah that's dangerously and recklessly crazy, holy God!
If you are a thunderstorm lover, this is your place to live. Wisconsin, where this storm was, or maybe Chicago, Minneanapolis, Cleveland, or anywhere in the Midwest. While it is possible to get storms like this here in New Jersey, all too often they are hit and miss.
Missouri usually gets severe weather but bro this year kinda sucked.:(
Can't go wrong with Florida
I live not to far away from that area. I remember this storm. it spawned like 8 tornadoes in brown and outagamie county.
Holy s...
8:22 be careful it’s positive Lightning
It's strange how almost you don't see lightning rods in your small towns. Here in Brazil we have many, both in small towns and in metropolises. I've seen many lightning strike trees next to houses and for lack of a lightning rod in the vicinity you become an easy target inside your own houses.
Lightning is so bad at the equator, huh? Every year? @moisesmenezes9391
That looked considerably worse in the distance than it turned out to be.
It weakened significantly by the time it hit I bet
From what I saw on a map of Wisconsin, Somerset, Wisconsin is in the westernmost part of the state, bordering Minnesota, so st the beginning of this video, the storms were probably mainly in Minnesota, but heading in your direction.
Thunderstorms occur in three stages, developement, mature, and dissipation. When the storm looked to be really intense when it was approaching, it was probably in the mature stage, but then got into the dissipation stage by the time it hit.
If it shows up on video it must be ten times more nuts in person! Awesome and terrifying at the same time!
I love the positive CG flashes especially the end of the video
In Canada we rarely get that big of hail but this year we got a tornado then a shelfcloud
Storms like this here in Southern California are very rare. They occur during El Nino in February
Crazy
great view of the storm . I'm surprised it wasn't a lot more windy though.
I totally agree with you!
No wind due to no tornado
@@joswanell9672 severe thunderstorm moving as fast as it was should’ve had some pretty high gusts I know it wasn’t far away but it still made some pretty impressive distance in a short time
@@joswanell9672 bro u don’t need a tornado to have high winds. Squall lines usually have strong straight line gusty winds alone, hurricanes high winds don’t come from tornadoes, and u can also have microburst that bring strong wind
@@joswanell9672 This particular derecho produced hurricane force wind gusts of up to 80 mph in some areas. Of course with all severe thunderstorms the worst impacts are almost never completely widespread.
Amazing shelf cloud and this green colour 😎
Greenish/yellowish colours near a shelf cloud are spooky
Nice Video Very Strong winds about 100-110km/h
8:42 OH MY GOD IS HE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!? HE BETTER GET IS ASS BACK INSIDE OR ELSE HE GETS LIGHTNING STRUCK!!!!!!!
I know right what he did was dangerous cannot mess around with this kind of severe weather especially large hail that is the size of a golf ball 😳😳😳😳🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 he's crazy for doing that he could of gotten seriously hurt either got struck by lightning or the golf ball size hail would of injured him 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Or even hit by big hail stones too!!!
Damn they must be crazily courageous then
Why lightning is bright but no thunder ?
We had pretty bad hail damage from this storm in Blaine MN. New roofs and siding and all of cars parked outside got damaged. Our new Toyota Sequoia got 10k in hail damage. I’m still driving my car around with hail dents from this storm.
That green area has high winds, large hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain with possible tornadoes.
Yeah that unsettling greenish/yellowish area 😬😐
I feel bad for the people over where the black clouds are
A ton of positive lightning I love it
SURABAYA JATIM
6:45 “Don’t go out there.” Then 10 sec later “That’s a big one. Go grab it.” 😆
Beautiful storm. A little bit of shelf clouds building but no signs of supercells w rotation so probably a short lived robust isolated thunderstorm cluster. The capture of green under the shelf cloud was great. Wish we had more storms like this roll in during the day but they prefer to spark up in the dead of night!
While I like to see thunderstorms at anytime, day or night, night is the perfect time for heavy thunderstorms, especially around midnight, as the sound of heavy rain hitting the windows and/or the roof is the perfect sleeping pill, especially on non work nights, when you do not have to get up early. Heavy overnight rain is perfect, thunder and lightning or not.
Green and yellow means a storm producing a tornado
Those greenish/bluish/yellowish/pinkish colours are unsettling. Also big hail though
this video is so chaotic and I love it
That wall cloud was beautiful
I also stood outside and watched this from my house near the apple River
I remember intertubing down the Apple River years ago (early 70's) as a kid!
FUN!!
It looks really apocalyptic. Definitely wouldn't want to be out in this
Lmao younger me would be trying to turn super sayain with the wind😂😂
I have footage of this storm too. It happened in the morning- i dont know what time the storm is hitting in the video here, but i had a storm come through in the morning, and i live in st paul. I remember waking up at 8am and it was still dark out, and im like, wth? I go out to the kitchen with my phone and hit the record button. I stopped recording about a minute in, that lightning you had-- the really bright flashes that looked like it was right in front of you-- one of those flashed right in front of the window i was standing in front of. We had pea sized hail here
Lightning was the best part to capture which they missed
It looks like the end of the world
Hello fellow Wisconsinite. This video just came across my feed and I’m so glad it did. Absolutely amazing! Scary too. Thank you for For sharing with all of us.
Not a thunderstorm. A lightning strikes twice in a row
I call it: Lightning Barrage with Wind, Rain, and Hail.
AWESOME FOOTAGE - but I saw bare feet outdoors while all that lightening was going on!! NEVER go out in a storm, or even near a window, in bare feet in the vicinity of all that intense lightening!!! When I was a kid, a friend of mine was killed when she was running through a field barefoot during a storm and got struck by lightening. DREADFUL!!!
TRAGIC!!
It's nice day outside
GOING GREEN!!!!!!
Incredible video! Wow, I think June 11, 2017 had one of the most epic shelf clouds this year
Cool video, but kinda crazy to run out in a lighting storm, especially it being that frequent and close. You're braver than me. You was lucky not to get struck, but very cool video indeed. Glad things didn't turn out bad.
Its only a 0.007% chance so its so rare almost unlilky
And reckless too
Damn the sky is green behind that front.
We have had some pretty severe thunderstorms by us In West Allis Wisconsin !
i got one rn
9:05 the storm: SHUT UP AND GO INSIDE🤣🤣
Yikes lol
Kids : we don't care if dad gets struck by lightning. Those hail stone are just the coolest.
THAT'S DEFINITELY A SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM!!!!!!
3:03 3:28 Very bright lightning
the tornado woke up and chose ✨destruction✨
Tornado really said I’m about to make this EVERYONES problem
Back in the late 80s early 90s my sister bought me a toy at the nature company that was a small speckled egg with two metal contacts that when it came in touch with a warm hand it would Peep and/like there was a little bird in there. I kept it in an egg cup on a Shelf in my living room and every time chain lightning would come down close it would go off by itself. When it would go off by myself I would brace myself for loud lightning.
I remember this one! I have pictures on a old phone and maybe a video I think on this storm... it was wild!!!! Craziest thing I’ve seen in all my 50 years!!
You guys need to come to Georgia if you're Amazed by this
That storm came in REALLY fast!!
One of the most satisfying storms Clouds I've ever seen. This would've been awesome in person.
I wish this vid was a bit longer.
That's was great. :D
Legend has it, the hail is still in the freezer. 🤣
Wow! What an amazing thunderstorm! And this scary positive lightning bolts. Greetings from Poland :)
Just so you know, how green forms in severe storms is when it’s late afternoon or evening and the sun changes and it’s colors make the storm green.
The sky is the color of boogers
WOW 😳.. great video of the power of weather ☁️⚡🌩️
Thanks for your video..love good storm
That is awesome!
Did you guys know that whenever there’s a storm, I can literally control the lightning with magic
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE RUclips VIDEOS ❤️ (I LOVE THE VIVID LIGHTNING)!!!!
People wonder why lightning is the #1killer on Earth. It's because people like this dude's dad run out in the open during severe storms.
No1 killer fuck off 🤣🤣
@Ryan Fisher Lightning isn't that bad
That Sky Is an ultra paradise monster
You should not be outside when it's lightning. That was extremely dangerous for him to run out into the open yard like that. Please be safe.
I'm no expert, but the shelf cloud looks like it had big potential to produce a tornado. Oh wow, now hail...absolutely it could have produced a tornado!!!
Nope you're confusing it with a rotating wall cloud.
No shelf clouds can produce a land spout but there was no wall cloud
Envious of any location with real weather. None of that here boringly in the UK
One of the most unsettling storm videos I've ever seen 😨😬😰😱 *9:06**-**9:13** GET BACK INSIDE NOW!!!*
never seen one so yellow!
Wow look at that that’s a severe thunderstorm warning wow wow this strong rain heavy heavy rain like bro it’s heavy it’s really really heavy
Great thunderstorm video! Between the sound and the view it was perfect ⚡️🌩🌧⛈
Yooo this looks like War of the Worlds. Except I don't think Evan was playing in the original part of the movie. This must be a fill in. Thanks for the upload!
Cool thunderstorm, thanks from NC. ⚡⚡⚡
Imagine having a squall line with golf ball sized hail
That’s a mean looking storm
Awesome green glow in it too
5:39 Loud thunder
It came with speed, unbeleaveble
I'm scared😱
8:25-8:26 *BOOOOOOOOMM* 8:33-8:35 that laugh too lol
I'm scared of storms 24/7 😆
So am I holy God 😧😨😬
Great video
Was that a squall line, supercell, or a muti cell storm. I think it was a multicell storm. Your gust front was not strong and usually in the rain and hail core winds are stronger anyways. Your winds looked calm in the core , might have been a weak echo region. Correct me if I'm wrong
Here is a reminder about generator safety for people that use portable generators for power outage: this is only a reminder for everyone to make sure that they are aware with all the warnings. Only people who use portable generators or plan to get a portable generator should see this safety reminder of using generators for emergency. Generators can be dangerous if not used carefully. Always keep that in mind. Everyone really needs to see this safety reminder to be sure. We heard that many people have died each year when using generators due to carbon monoxide poisoning and electrocution. There is something very serious that everyone should always be aware of when using generators. Some people do run their generator indoors which is not safe and that increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning which can cause death of family and you. Some people run their generator in wet conditions which can electrocute them. Here’s an advice about generator safety: please remember that you should never run your generator indoors. Remember that carbon monoxide is an odorless and colorless gas that you cannot see or smell. Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Keep that in mind. Make sure your generator is 15-20 feet away from your house and away from doors, windows, and vents. Having a carbon monoxide detector is very important against generator safety. Some people also allow children to go near the portable generator which could pose risks. We need to keep an eye on our children making sure that they are not near the portable generator so they won’t get electrocuted or burned by the generator which is dangerous. A locking enclosure also keeps kids safe. A generator shed might look like a tempting place to explore, or take cover during a game of hide-and-seek, but a generator is a dangerous piece of equipment that can cause injury. It says on the manual that we should also keep children away at all times from the portable generator to avoid injuries. Generators pose electrical risks. If you need to use your generator during wet weather, you need a generator tent to protect your generator from getting wet. Don’t let your generator get wet. Keep your generator dry and before using your generator, please make sure your hands and your generator is dry. Everything that is said on the generator’s operating manual should not be ignored. Never smoke cigarettes near the generator. Please keep flammable things away from the generator. Never overload your generator too. Your generator can catch fire. Never ever try to plug a generator cord into a wall outlet to avoid back feeding. Back feeding your generator is dangerous. Always turn on your generator first before plugging in appliances and shut off the appliances before turning your generator off. Use a heavy duty cord for your generator and the cord should not be worn out. All the instructions should be followed carefully. Never refuel your generator while it’s running. It can cause fire if fuel spills while your generator is hot. You should turn off your generator and let it cool off before refueling it. This is only a reminder for everyone’s safety of using generators. Make sure your generator is properly grounded. ruclips.net/video/I1jT3ANENvI/видео.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators. Hope this helps for people that use portable gas generators. Stay safe.
@PowerSystems Sage advice! ☮️
Damn green isn’t a good sign
Yup. Whenever you see those greenish clouds you just gotta prepare for the worst 😬😬😬
