The assumption of Ibn Kathir being ignorant of the truth comes from Christians comparing our scholarship with their scholarship, which is based on conjecture requiring them to infer what the text means because there is no commentary from jesus or the disciples for example. Our scholars have alot of supporting evidence to suggest what something meant.

@Imam Abu Ali ibn Abi Mas'oud This passage is another one of those confusing, conflicting passages in the Quran. Over and over it tells Muslims to follow the prior scriptures. 4:136 "O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray." The conclusion is the writer of the Quran did not know what was in the prior scriptures until later and is now saying otherwise. It does not have a clear message about the prior scriptures. It does not provide clear guidance to what is hidden or what is to be disregarded. The Quran fails it claims of being clear.

37:39 The Bible doesn't affirm the Qur'an. The Qur'an in fact does that multiple times. YOU ARE ASSUMING THE BIBLE DOES. This is a huge FALLACY! According to the Bible, Mohammed stands condemned as a false prophet!
@@ModernDawah According to the Qur'an (Allah and Mohammed), they both affirmed times without number, the authority, inspiration and preservation of the (Torah and Ingeel) Bible. They never ever claimed no where in the Qur'an or Islamic sources that the text or manuscripts of the scriptures possessed by the Jews and Christians have ever been changed. never! This is simply because Allah himself claims for instance in Surah 15 : 9 that he is the guardian or protector of his revelations and also in Surah 6 :114 - 115 he declares that no one can change his words in the books (Torah, Ingeel and Quran) he revealed (going by the context of 114 and 115). All Allah accuses the Jews for is twisting the words with their tongues, misinterpretation, Ignorance or even forgetfulness. What Allah never ever claimed in the Qur'an is what I hear every single time from Muslims today, that our scriptures (text) were corrupted by Apostle Paul or the Scribes or Councils. Allah or Mohammed never ever made such claim no where! All he does is confirm and confirm and confirm and even confirm the scriptures we have. This would make him (Allah) a liar infact, going by what he said in Surah 15 - 9 if truly the Torah and Ingeel were tampered with like you say. The Qur'an also makes it so clear that the Bible I have today is totally as it is meant to be because Allah goes ahead to reveal that the Jews and Christians simply have no ground to stand upon until they observe the Torah and Gospel and all the other revelations from our Lord. This would make zero sense if what we have is corrupted even though accommodating this line of thought in the first place simply means Allah lied again when he said he is the protector of his revelations and no one can change his books. I don't think any Muslim will want to claim Allah lied. This is why I can believe what the Bible says Here check out this Hadith: Sunan Abi Dawud 4449 Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar: A group of Jews came and invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Quff. So he visited them in their school. They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: *I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee* . He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi'(No. 4431). Grade: Hasan (Al-Albani) حسن (الألباني)حكم : Reference : Sunan Abi Dawud 4449In-book reference : Book 40, Hadith 99English translation : Book 39, Hadith 4434 *Notice Mohammed's own statement to a "physical" copy of the Torah* But how we know Mohammed is a false prophet has a lot of strata's to it. Looking at his life and message, from a biblical point of view, he is obviously a false prophet. A prophet had to come in the name of Yahweh (He said the name of his god is allah, "The god"), He had to have a direct relationship with God, He had to perform miracles to confirm his message and Prophecy. Mohammed had too many spiritual and moral issues as well. He broke the entire 10 commandments given by Yahweh even more and yet allah in the Qur'an calls him a pattern of conduct for you Muslims. He also was suicidal and thought he was demon possessed. He was a victim of black magic and recited satanic verses as reported by multiple narrators. Allah claims to be the same God of the Torah and Ingeel, yet when we read we find them to be pole opposites. Also, when we listen to the what the Qur'an says about the Torah and Ingeel and how he guards them and no one can change them, looking at that Torah and Ingeel, it contradicts the Qur'an on very fundamental basis we already know. This means Islam is false already. The route Muslims today have to take instead of simply obeying the Qur'an, is to claim that the original Torah and Ingeel does not exist today or has been so badly corrupted. The problem this poses again is simply that Allah claims to be the guardian of these books and of course no one can change his words. By declaring such, that will make Allah a liar. This makes Mohammed a false prophet either ways and Islam totally false. I believe the true living God put this dilemma in the Qur'an and Islam for a purpose. To save you Muslims from that filth. Please ask your scholars to stop making claims Allah and his prophet never ever made, that's shirk (at least you still believe in Allah and Mohammed).
@@steelisrael3461You're entire premise is based on a assumption that you understand the Quran better then our scholar's. Because it fits your narrative. The Quran confirms the gospel sent to Jesus pbuh not the gospel writers, they simply wrote down stories based off hearsay, its clear that the Bible has been changed even your scholars admit this. The burden of proof is on you to provide why it should be taken as the word of God. If you're going to use the Quran to prove that then you have a problem. Allah says clearly that Jesus pbuh did not die on the cross. The gospel writers said he did. The gospel writers were going based off an assumption and they were wrong the quran corrects this, you're basing your salvation off an assumption!
@@ModernDawah You can't say it fits my narrative as long as I am not adding to the words of the Qur'an. You have to prove any of my assertions were false or misinterpreted first of all. And you have to do that using counter arguments from the Qur'an rather than just dismissing my arguments all together. I appealed to the Qur'an because it is what you believe in. I have to go with your belief. What did you expect me to do? Outside of the Qur'an, there is no true scholar or historian in the world today that will claim Jesus Christ wasnt crucified at the order of Pontius Pilate or never died on that cross. It is a historical fact. There is 100% certainty that the gospels are accurate. Infact, you're the one going by hearsay , from the Qur'an. No historical proof or argument, just blind faith.
So when the Qur'an says, "believe in that which I revealed (Qur'an)...", this means it may not be the entire Qur'an? Since there is no "quantifier"? How about being a little more consistent? Oh man!
@Produce Your Evidence How do you relate criterion and quantifier from a verse like: The Cow (Al-Baqarah):89 - And when there cometh unto them a scripture from Allah, *confirming that in their possession* - though before that they were asking for a signal triumph over those who disbelieved - and when there cometh unto them that which they know (to be the truth) they disbelieve therein. The curse of Allah is on disbelievers. Or this: The Food (Al-Mā'idah):68 - *Say O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught (of guidance) till ye observe the Torah and the Gospel and that which was revealed unto you from your Lord* . That which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) from thy Lord is certain to increase the contumacy and disbelief of many of them. But grieve not for the disbelieving folk. When it says Torah and the Ingeel here, does it mean some part of it?
@Produce Your Evidence Why must there be a question of quantifier when it is not in the text? And if there must be a quantifier for the subject, then there must also be a quantifier for the object as well.
@Produce Your Evidence That's the opposite of what Allah says in the Qur'an. Read Surah 5:43, if for example the Torah must be read in light of the Qur'an, then this verse is super contradictory.
@Produce Your Evidence I'm not reading it out of context. Read surah 5:43-48, the Jews came to Mohammed for judgement but he asked why do they need him when they've already got the Torah, he then goes ahead to demand a physical copy of the Torah from the Jews, places it on the Judgement cushion and says; "I believe in you and the God that revealed you". It was also revealed in verse 47 that the Christians are also to judge by the Ingeel as well. And finally the Qur'an is supposed to be a source of Judgement for the Muslims and the Qur'an is a watcher over the other scriptures. Meaning that Mohammed could Judge over the Jews and Christians but by sending them back to the Torah and Ingeel. That's all the context there (except you wanna do the usual gymnastics) The book given to Moses is also called El Fukhan bro: The Cow (Al-Baqarah):53 - And when We gave unto Moses the Scripture and the criterion (of right and wrong), that ye might be led aright. The Prophets (Al-'Anbyā'):48 - And We verily gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion (of right and wrong) and a light and a Reminder for those who keep from evil,

I mean, what's the earliest manuscript we have?
@Frank C. Miller Ibn Qayyim didn't exactly say that. It's not like the scripture is fully corrupt. The word of God was still contained in it. Not to mention that was 1400 years ago. We don't know what happened since. There's nothing wrong with swearing by it to prove a point. Not to mention you're conveniently forgetting that there are hadiths where we're told to neither deny nor affirm anything from their scriptures unless the Quran is explicit about it
@Frank C. Miller using the torah to judge them is like using a certain law to judge the criminals! That won't change the fact that there's other parts in it that is corrupted! Even Saad bnu Mu'ad judged the jews tribe of banu Quraidha in medina by the torah when they broke the treaty just to be fair with them if that specific law agrees with the Quranic law then it is from God, simple as that!
@Frank C. Miller One ayah literally says they write it with their hands. Dude. We discussed this already Also, I already answered the thing about asking to follow the books. Watch the video I linked earlier The difference with your jew analogy is that the jews don't believe the quran was ever the word of god. It's a bad analogy
@Frank C. Miller it's not about true or false it is the same God who revealed them he is telling you that his previous scriptures got tempered with so believe in his last revelation to confirm the true portion that agrees with what God said in the Qur'an, and imagine if you were a jew and jesus comes to you with a new testament telling you that he want to fulfill the uncompleted torah and to not believe that God regretted and calls you animal if you're not a jew then would you tell him that doesn't make sense if we have the preserved torah in Aramaic at that time!

Finally, God Forsook HIMSELF & sacrificed HIMSELF to prove HIS loyalty to HIMSELF, while dead HE resurrected HIMSELF so HE could exalt HIMSELF above HIMSELF then HE sat at HIS own Right Hand after being cursed by HIMSELF!

@Frank C. Miller They did not. It's not a dilenma. Some scholars said this due to academic reasons. It's not because of a dilenma. Not to mention, it was a very small minority. And even those argued that it was not 100% preserved. Obviously Where did you get that from?
@Frank C. Miller What's this supposed to prove? They had prophecies in the books? No one said it was easy to change it. Not to mention, we had jewish converts so obviously they could not simply change it
@Frank C. Miller You're being dishonest. When it says none can change his words, it's obviously talking about the Quran. It's called synecdoche. Look it up. Also, if I was to take a Quran and edited it, I would not be "changing the words of God" I would just have a counterfeit.
You guys are confused: the Quran certainly DOES NOT confirm the Bible, but the Quran DOES say that it confirms the Bible. In other words, THE QURAN CONTRADICTS ITSELF!!!
At 21:39 doesn't no quantifier imply everything there is ? E.g if I say drinking the juice, it is assumed you mean all. Is only when you drink some or a part of it that you really need to specify otherwise it's assumed all, is it not?
The very fact that the Quran had to 'confirm' what was in previous scripture necessitates that all of their scripture was not fully preserved...if their scripture wasn't preserved in its entirety then the Quran won't confirm anything from it, and if the previous scripture was entirely preserved then a confirmation from the Quran is unnecessary, the Quran wouldn't have to be 'Muhaimin' (Guardian) over previous scripture as it would be in perfect sync with the Quran...in short, its nonsensical to suggest that the quantifier is 'all'
11:17- 11:40 “And we’re not making the claim that it’s a completely different book . Like if a revelation was given , and they’ve hidden the whole thing and then they’ve just produced a completely different book, AT NO POINT DO WE MAKE ANY SUCH CLAIM LIKE THAT” I would argue that yes, Muslims make this claim and don’t even realize it. A core doctrines of Christianity since the beggining of Christianity is the following . 1. Jesus is THE son of God 2. Jesús died on the cross 3. Jesus died on the cross FOR OUR SINS 4. Jesus resurection on the 3rd day 5. Saved by grace , by believing in Christ and his sacrifice. This is what the vast majority of the gospel revolves around and Muslims reject most, if not all, of these claims. To say the gospel says something else is tantamount to saying that the gospel is a completely different book than what we have, and what Christins have had for 2 millennia. Finally , According to Bart Ehrman regarding the textual variants/manuscript errors (which also appear in Quran manuscripts) “In fact, most of the changes found in early Christian manuscripts have nothing to do with theology or ideology. Far and away the most changes are the result of mistakes pure and simple-slips of the pen, accidental omissions, inadvertent additions, misspelled words, blunders of one sort of another” (Misquoting Jesus, 55).” And “So, for anyone who is deeply committed to his or her theology, who is worried about how the textual variants of the New Testament might affect it, let me say it once again: none of your cherished doctrines appears to be in real danger because of variations in our surviving manuscripts (at least the variations that we know about). But that is not my claim and never has been my claim.” As you can see. No manuscripts have been found that oppose the core doctrines Christians have today. In other words, even if Muslims make the claim that we have something opposing what we have today, there is no proof behind it, in fact the thousands of manuscripts we have agree with each other.
*Trinity in a nutshell:* Paulians believe in trinity. Jesus is fully god, the Father is fully god, holly spirit is fully god. But there is not 3 fully gods but 1 fully god! So, God is angry or wants to forgive people for Adam's sins that majority of the mankind didn't commit but still be Just (i.e. punish someone). So he sends down his son. Cause obvious u should punish your son when someone else does a mistake. Right? OBVIOUSLY. But Jesus is god unfortunately had to eat, rode on a donkey, go to toilet, was circumcised by his own creation etc. So the father sends down himself. Cause why not punish your human clone, right? Anyway Jesus or son of god or god is born (read Job 25:4-6). Mary is breastfeeding Jesus. Mary is breastfeeding god. The one who created her breast is suckling of her breast!! Cause why not? The creator of the world obvious has to go through all these things to forgive people...So, the son grows up and eats and drinks and sleeps like normal humans. Obviously just preparing to be killed by his own creation. He reminds people about the commandments and tells them to stay away from many sins. But who cares! Cause he is gonna die for their sins anyway. So let them do whatever they want to right. He prayed repeatedly. But who did he pray to? He tells them to pray to god PROSTRATING. But why not tell them to prostrate to himself cause he is god right? Someone asks him about the final hour. He said he doesn't know, the angels in the heaven don't know. Only the father knows. The father is god. But Jesus is god. Why did one part of god not have some information the other one does? And what about the holy spirit? The son dies on the cross asking why god would abandon him. But he is god. So he is having a chat with himself while he dies. Jesus dies :( to protect the people of his own wrath. So The son of god dies. But he is also god, so god dies I mean god is killed by humans. Or did god not know that was gonna happen? So that means Jesus or son of god or God committed suicide. God was dead for some time. 'Who was taking care of everything?' 'The father.' Who is that?' 'God'. But Jesus died. But he is the son of god. Who is jesus then? G0d...

Hello conservative Outlet, according to pew research center Christianity is the religion of highest apostasy rate, in the projection of 2010-2050 Christianity will LOSE 60 million people on net of apostates vs converts. Oh you're asking where is Islam? Well in the same projection of 2010-2050, Islam will GAIN 3 million - 4 million people on net of Apostates vs converts. So if you're reasonable and face facts and reality, Christianity is dying. Christianity died the day you people claimed he was dead. According to you, your God is dead, finished, nailed by humans, absolutely rekt, absolutely humiliated. Add on this, the unknown authenticity of Bible gives people more reason to apostate from Christianity. I sense hate in your words @Conservative outlet. I don't see how Dovid 19 pretends that because it's partly corrupt, they cannot sell out or deny it
@Frank C. Miller Don't be dishonest, please. And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. Actually, this backfires on you since Allah specifies "revealed therein" which shows that there may be parts which are not revelation. Also, the next verse clarifies this. Again watch this video for a full understanding ruclips.net/video/01ozVZBwOD4/видео.html
@Frank C. Miller Just insults? If it's so weak then refute it. Again, this is clear-cut. He doesn't say to judge by whatever they have. It says "by what Allah has revealed therein". What's the issue here?
🤣🤣🤣 You spend you time talking about a quantifier, and ask DW to prove his claim of an absolute quantifier regarding what's in their possession. Your claim is that, what's in their possession may be corrupted, but not entirely. Why is your Allah so vague? The Koran has to prove a less absolute quantifier, not DW. So according to you, the Koran is making the claim that it is referring to a less absolute quantifier , but your examples 19:88 , 4:157 etc...failed to prove that point . These verses are about what "they say" not what is written in their possession. You are conflating the claims from 7th century Christians with what was revealed and in their possession. You have not proven from the Koran that what is written in their possession is the same as what they claim. David was very clear that the Koran never claim the Torah & injil, the books in their possession in the 7th century are corrupted. Where are the verses about the books in their possession being corrupted from the Koran? If today's Christians are arguing from what is in their possession, that the content of the Koran is false, that's becomes the Islamic dilemma, because we had the same books in the 7th century. The Koran confirms the Bible, the Bible contradict the Koran , therefore the Koran is false. 🤣🤣🤣 You can't escape.
As an irish agnostic, how in the name of sweet reason, do you expect me to go down on my knees and pray 5 times a day to a God who claims to be omnipotent and seems incapable of preserving his revelation? Why didn't the Abrahamic God preserve THE ORIGINAL TEXT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, THE ORIGINAL TEXT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT AND THE ORIGINAL TEXT OF THE KORAN? If this is so obvious to my little irish brain, then why wasn't it obvious to your God? To me the answer is obvious. The Abrahamic God is a man made creation in the literal sense. It is pathetic in the 21st. century, to see different religions arguing over ancients religious documents over which parts were preserved by God and which were not.
The issue is God can't be incapable, why is it so hard to grasp the fact God CHOOSE to not preserve the Bible and Torah, In the Qur'an numerous times stated that the people were given the responsibility of preserving, meaning a test. The only text preserved is the Qur'an and sunnah (the words and speech of the prophet.) You see it's obvious because you already have the answer in your mind, the bible and torah needed to be preserved. The point of this video is that the argument was peak willful ignorance. The issue is God can't be incapable, why is it so hard to grasp the fact God CHOOSE to not preserve the Bible and Torah, In the Qur'an numerous times stated that the people were given the responsibility of preserving, meaning a test. @@sholos4478 I am astounded that you can give me such an irrational answer. I am perfectly aware of the typical Muslim apologist answer. "Allah knows best" or "I know what you dont know"---Koran. One thing I notice time after time is that Muslim apologists will not give intelligent answers to questions that I pose as an agnostic. Why would an Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnibenovelent God choose to mislead and confuse mankind. Such a God is not worth worshipping. Apart from hearsay, there is no evidence to show that it is reasonable to believe in the Abrahamic God. I will leave the last words to a Muslim taxi driver. He asked me what religion I was. @@sholos4478 To be quite blunt, a God who can create cosmic miracles but who chooses not to preserve his revelations intact, and this results in confusion and blood shed on al massive scale, is not worth worshipping. Why do you assume having a complete one religion is supposed to be the case and there's no case for differing ones? Also, the bible and torah were and are a literal test, you can see Allah in the Qur'an stating as such, that's why preservation is on them, not just that but those certain revelations were for a specific groups and time as the test of perserving the scriptures was changed by the people who's responsibility was not to, say Prophet moses and prophet isa (Jesus) BUT, all the prophets including jesus and moses, were all muslim, muslim literally means submitting to (the one and only God). Albert Einstein was great in his discoveries for science, but you jump his great discoveries and assume he has the same greatness on Theology.

37:39 The Bible doesn't affirm the Qur'an. The Qur'an in fact does that multiple times. YOU ARE ASSUMING THE BIBLE DOES. This is a huge FALLACY!
According to the Bible, Mohammed stands condemned as a false prophet!
@@steelisrael3461 Why do you believe what the Bible says? How can you tell who's a false prophet?
This is why I can believe what the Bible says
Here check out this Hadith:
Sunan Abi Dawud 4449
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:
A group of Jews came and invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Quff.

*Notice Mohammed's own statement to a "physical" copy of the Torah*
But how we know Mohammed is a false prophet has a lot of strata's to it.
Yay! I knew you were gonna respond :P
And, not debate?
My admiration just grew for you. Akhi!
1:17:17 "MIRACLE OF REINTERPRETATION" 😂
So when the Qur'an says, "believe in that which I revealed (Qur'an)...", this means it may not be the entire Qur'an? Since there is no "quantifier"? How about being a little more consistent? Oh man!
@Produce Your Evidence How do you relate criterion and quantifier from a verse like:
The Cow (Al-Baqarah):89 - And when there cometh unto them a scripture from Allah, *confirming that in their possession* - though before that they were asking for a signal triumph over those who disbelieved - and when there cometh unto them that which they know (to be the truth) they disbelieve therein. The curse of Allah is on disbelievers.
Or this:
The Food (Al-Mā'idah):68 - *Say O People of the Scripture!
@Produce Your Evidence
I'm not reading it out of context. That's all the context there (except you wanna do the usual gymnastics)
The book given to Moses is also called El Fukhan bro:
The Cow (Al-Baqarah):53 - And when We gave unto Moses the Scripture and the criterion (of right and wrong), that ye might be led aright.
The Prophets (Al-'Anbyā'):48 - And We verily gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion (of right and wrong) and a light and a Reminder for those who keep from evil,

JZK for answering Psycho David but it's quite simple
The Torah and Injeel are not the current Torah nor are they the gospels of Mark, Luke, John, (I forgot the other guy).
The Injeel is the one revealed to Isa (as). I mean, the NT wasn't even translated in arabic at the time of Prophet Muhammad (saw)
The Torah was altered. I mean, what's the earliest manuscript we have?
@Frank C. Miller So? This has nothing to do with whether it was edited or not.
Dude. We discussed this already
Also, I already answered the thing about asking to follow the books. It says "what he has revealed therein" and the next verse talks about the quran being the supreme authority over the scriptures. In other words, it says to follow the quran.
Watch the video I linked earlier
The difference with your jew analogy is that the jews don't believe the quran was ever the word of god. It's a bad analogy
@Frank C. *Concept of God in Christianity* ‒ Christians believe in Trinity, Jesus is fully god, the Father is fully god, holly spirit is fully god. But there is not 3 fully gods but 1 fully god! The Trinity teaches that around 2000 years ago, God asked HIMSELF to go to Earth as a baby god then HE agreed with HIMSELF & volunteered HIMSELF to HIMSELF to offer HIMSELF to save Mankind from HIMSELF for Adam's sin that most of the mankind didn't commit. Then God impregnated a young Female as HIMSELF with HIMSELF to be HIMSELF. GOD prayed to HIMSELF glorified HIMSELF repeatedly. God strengthened HIMSELF & talked to HIMSELF.

“And we’re not making the claim that it’s a completely different book . Like if a revelation was given , and they’ve hidden the whole thing and then they’ve just produced a completely different book, AT NO POINT DO WE MAKE ANY SUCH CLAIM LIKE THAT”
I would argue that yes, Muslims make this claim and don’t even realize it. A core doctrines of Christianity since the beggining of Christianity is the following .
1. Jesus is THE son of God
2. Jesús died on the cross
3. Jesus died on the cross FOR OUR SINS
4. Jesus resurection on the 3rd day
Finally , According to Bart Ehrman regarding the textual variants/manuscript errors (which also appear in Quran manuscripts)
“In fact, most of the changes found in early Christian manuscripts have nothing to do with theology or ideology. Far and away the most changes are the result of mistakes pure and simple-slips of the pen, accidental omissions, inadvertent additions, misspelled words, blunders of one sort of another” (Misquoting Jesus, 55).”
And
“So, for anyone who is deeply committed to his or her theology, who is worried about how the textual variants of the New Testament might affect it, let me say it once again: none of your cherished doctrines appears to be in real danger because of variations in our surviving manuscripts (at least the variations that we know about). But that is not my claim and never has been my claim.”
As you can see. No manuscripts have been found that oppose the core doctrines Christians have today.
In other words, even if Muslims make the claim that we have something opposing what we have today, there is no proof behind it, in fact the thousands of manuscripts we have agree with each other.
@Syed Affan Ali come again ?
@Syed Affan Ali do you agree with any of these ?

So Allah couldn’t preserve his Torah and Bible? Wooow Allah is not competent!

So according to you, the Koran is making the claim that it is referring to a less absolute quantifier
, but your examples 19:88 , 4:157 etc...failed to prove that point .

The only text preserved is the Qur'an and sunnah (the words and speech of the prophet.)
You see it's obvious because you already have the answer in your mind, the bible and torah needed to be preserved.

@@charlievaughan1308 Why do you assume that those revelations were supposed to be intact, there's a lot of ad hoc here where you're begging the question of your presumptions.
What proper guidance?

@Produce Your Evidence Then show me the Gospel that Muhammad and the Quran claimed to exist. Maybe I could find Muhammad in that book? Where is it? Did you lose it after the Quran told you to believe in it? Shame on you.

And the torah is not the one the Quran speaks about too because the one present nowadays is only 2000 years old and telling what happened after Moses's death whilst the one the Quran speaks about is the one that Moses got and it has to be 3500 years old

Why don't you two go to David's channel and have a discussion about this live?
"Hidden quantifier"? So when Allah says he oonfirms what Jews possess (Torah) he means part of what they possess; therefore he means the opposite. Ridiculous argument. Same logic: when Allah says he is one God, maybe he means he is part of one God. Maybe immortal Koran is another part....deabte D Wood Fullmental Islamist.
It's ridiculous because you butchered the original argument into this strawman. Who's making the claim here ? David. David has the burden of proof on him to prove that it's a universal quantifier. End of the story. Can he ? He cannot, not from a semantical perspective. If he goes to our sources they will support a partial quantifier. When Allah says he is one God, the quantifier is already there (one). He doesn't mention Personhood, therefore as par Occam's Razor you don't posit a multiplicity.
Another silly minion has been graced with an explant. Warm regards kid.

A “hidden” quantifier that doesn’t need to be there in the clear and explained Quran, according to one verse.
In a different verse it says “some” verses are elusive, let’s apply your “hidden” quantifier here, I’ll go with “most” verses are elusive since they came from the best of the deceivers, by his own admission.
Wow, you guys are smart, now the entire Quran can be checked for this “hidden” quantifier, it’s a miracle you guys found it when it was hidden, good job guys, even Muhammad and his companions didn’t know about this “hidden” quantifier or the “royal” we usage.
How did you guys find these things when they could not?
David Wood responded to you not because your clarifications hurt him, but because you are the only Muslim apologist who tried to give an answer to his questions. All the major Islamic apologists are afraid to discuss with arguments with him, their only tactic is insulting.

*Everything about Jesus and his teaching screams he's a Prophet of God. Jesus himself is not God:*
"I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
(John 20:27)
The Father is greater than I.
(John 14:28)
Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
(Mark 10:18)
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
(Mayhew 24:36)
"When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways." (Acts 3:26)
I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. (John 5:30)
Jesus said, “The father is greater than all.” [John 10:29]
Jesus (pbuh) said; “No one has seen God at any time.” [John 1:18]
“Behold my servant (Jesus), whom I have chosen.” [Matthew 12:18]
Jesus prayed in a posture and with an attitude of reverent submission - “Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will’” [Matthew 26:39]
“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.” [John 7:16]
God is not a man (Numbers 23:19)
“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.” [Acts 2:22]
The woman said to him, "Sir, I see that you are a prophet. (John 4:19)
“So they said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?” And he said, “He is a prophet.” [John 9:17]
“And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.” [Matthew 21:11]
“Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” [John 6:14]
“they counted him (Jesus) as a prophet.” [Matthew 14:5]
“they took Him (Jesus) for a prophet.” [Matthew 21:46]
“Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” [Matthew 13:57]
Now this is eternal life: that they know you (The Father), THE ONLY TRUE GOD.

*The Trinitarian Baptism was not established until the 4th century! There's not a single church father that believed in Trinity and Jesus as God before 4th century. Look up history behind Trinity.*
*The Church of the First Three Centuries 1865 Alvan Lamson:*
_" . . . The modern doctrine of the Trinity is not found in any document or relic belonging to the Church of the first three centuries. . . so far as any remains or any record of them are preserved, coming down from early times, are, as regards this doctrine an absolute blank. They testify, so far as they testify at all, to the supremacy of the father, the only true God; and to the inferior and derived nature of the Son. There is nowhere among these remains a coequal trinity. . . but no un-divided three, -- coequal, infinite, self-existent, and eternal. This was a conception to which the age had not arrived. It was of later origin."_
*During the first three centuries, Christians did not believe that Jesus Christ was coequal, and coeternal with God, or that he was God the Son, they believed that Jesus Christ was subordinate to God, and that he had a beginning, that he was born. Those that believed otherwise were the exception.*
*The Doctrine of the Trinity Christianity’s Self-Inflicted Wound 1994 Anthony F. Buzzard Charles F. Hunting:*
_"Those Trinitarians who believe that the concept of a Triune God was such an established fact that it was not considered important enough to mention at the time the New Testament was written should be challenged by the remarks of another writer, Harold Brown:"_
_"It is a simple fact and an undeniable historical fact that several major doctrines that now seem central to the Christian Faith - such as the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of the nature of Christ - were not present in a full and self-defined generally accepted form until the fourth and fifth centuries. If they are essential today - as all of the orthodox creeds and confessions assert - it must be because they are true. If they are true, then they must always have been true; they cannot have become true in the fourth and fifth century. But if they are both true and essential, how can it be that the early church took centuries to formulate them?"_
*A History of the Christian Church 2nd Ed. 1985 Williston Walker:*
_"AD 200. . Noetus had been expelled from the Smyrnaean church for teaching that Christ was the Father, and that the Father himself was born, and suffered, and died."_
*Man’s Religions John B. Noss 1968:*
_"The controversy first became heated when Apollinarius, a bishop in Syria . . . asserted that Christ could not have been perfect man united with complete God, for then there would not have been one Son of God, but two sons, one by nature and one by adoption, the first with a divine, the second with a human will. Such a thing seemed inconceivable, religiously abhorrent."_
_"Nestorius . . . preached a sermon against calling the virgin Mary ‘the mother of God’ declaring she did not bear a deity, she bore a man,"_
*Numbers **23:19** states that God is not a man. God was not born, and God certainly did not die, but when people deviate from what the Bible teaches you can come up with the bizarre complexities of trinitarian religious mysteries that contradict logic, common sense and God’s Word.*
*New Bible Dictionary 1982:*
_"The word trinity is not found in the Bible . . ."_
_". . . it did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century."_
_". . . it is not a biblical doctrine in the sense that any formation of it can be found in the Bible, . . ."_
_"Scripture does not give us a formulated doctrine of the trinity, . . ."_
*The HarperCollins Encyclopedia of Catholicism 1995:*
_". . . scholars generally agree that there is no doctrine of the trinity as such in either the Old Testament or the New Testament."_
*If the trinity is the cornerstone of Christianity then how did the church of the first three centuries get along so well without it? If the trinity is the cornerstone of Christianity then why is it not mentioned in the Bible?*
*The Encyclopedia Americana 1956:*
_"Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian (believing in one God). The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching."_
*The trinity is a deviation from believing in one God; it is a deviation from what the early church taught and it is a deviation from the scripture.*
*The New Catholic Encyclopedia 1967:*
_"The formulation 'one God in three persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century."_
*Who is Jesus? Anthony Buzzard:*
_"The Old Testament is a strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a trinity is to be found there or even in any way shadowed forth, is an assumption that has long held sway in theology, but is utterly without foundation."_
*The New Encyclopedia Britannica 1976:*
_"Neither the word trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord' (Deut. 6:4). . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since."_
