So very informative. I knew the thoroughbred business was dirty because of the overbreeding but I didn’t realize there were so many throwaway babies. Makes my heart sick. Much gratitude to you.
I worked there for a couple/few years. I learned so much there. Helped build/ rebuild the barn. Vic is a goddess.
When you do what she does it becomes hard to say "no" to any baby no matter how many you already have. Bless her.
GOD BLESS you, dear lady!! I am in tears. I am going to budget a donation to your efforts as often as I possibly can. If everyone who loves horses, whether they have one or not, would do what big or little they could; these precious baby horses could have decent life. I know there is great human need in the world, but horses are special, too. I believe we will have horses in Heaven! Maybe even these little, saved ones.

Your such a blessing. It's my dream to do what you've been doing. I started out like you a few at a time. I am praying this will be my year. I love the horses and I know that God gave me the gift if healing them. I am on my second degree in vet med just so I can run my rescue. I hope to visit you soon. May you be blessed. I am 72 yrs old. Always love horses. Had several in my yrs. I rent 4 acres. But use 1 1/2 acres. With heavy panels fo pens. My last horses were elder. Had to put down do to quality of life. Both raised from foals & were over 20-25yrs age. Tore me up to put down. Was everything (my life worth) my fam. I have lots of time & tons of love, & attention. Would love to foster foals & have a purpose again.

I used to foster horses. I received a lot of horses that was too intelligent for their owners. I'm a big believer in, you should know how to train a horse before owning one. The horse that killed me the most was a starving Walker who was the most gentle spirited big baby that I put 300lbs on and he started to look a lot healthier then passed away on me from heart issues because he starved so long before I got him. I really got attached to him. I also received horses rescued from the Amish. The Amish are awful to animals. Amish are natorious for puppy mills. Me and my ex split up and he got the land so I have no place to foster anymore. I wouldn't ever bored a horse because I want to be with them every day for hours a day. I understand not liking humans very much. I was almost too picky who I adopted to. It was easy for me to do background checks on someone's vet history because I was a vet tech also.

I raised a baby when he lost his mom. I was 12. Raised him trained him he was a good horse.

I’m 67 had pony then $75 horse my first at age 12... many since then,, I have 2 rescued Gelding s,,, Raised cattle, hogs, sheep and lots of Bucket calves.., 240a with good amount of Grass n Hay.. Good facilities,, Barn , Loafing Sheds,,, My Goal is to get 2 foals from Kill pen or adopt 2 families. My Heart is Broken to think People Throw these Babies Away😢😢. Thanks for YOU

I love you .. you are wonderful .. beautiful soul - thankyou! You are living your life from your heart, which is the only way to live, and karma will take care of everyone else. The animals are magnificent and it would be wonderful to be around them, although the emotional challenge is acknowledged due to the circumstances. Humans should all wake up and I believe it's happening more and more, to love and appreciate all life, do no harm, do not support any industry, person, concept .. that puts any life in harms way. Really you make me proud of your humanity, and it was evident at such a young age .. hang in there and take good care of yourself too! XOX
PS have you heard of structured water? It makes toxicity inert in water .. it's new tech that is taking a while to be understood en masse, but there is the one I have from natural action technologies, and Dan Winter is a designer of another one and I haven't researched others of a similar nature .. structured water is great for animals, agriculture, and I shower under it, travel with one, and of course use it with precious animals and plants .. just one form of treating water that doesn't require filter replacements that would help you out ..

My grandpa owns a nurse mare business and I work with him. And it’s not all bad. You can’t trash talk all nurse mare people just because most of them are bad. And i know some people just say I’m taking up for my grandpa and myself. But actually every story has to sides. I totally support rescuing animals that are/have been abused and mistreated. But that’s not the case with are farm. We care for are horses better than we care for are selfs. And everyone is making it sound like as soon as the goal is born we hurry up and take it away. No that is totally not true. We atleast leave the goal on their mother for a week and a half. We let them bond. But we don’t like taking foals away from their mother. But you have to look at it this way. We are talking a healthy two week old foal from its mother. And finding it a great home, that can raise it and make a great riding horse or pet. And then taking the mother to help out a foal that’s mother has died or don’t have a great milk supply. And a lot of times the babies that we help out are not healthy and need help. And are mares do a great job. If are mares own babies are sick or stuggling. We will not take them off the mare. Bc we want the best for all foals. And we do not over breed. And we always have are mares vet checked and make sure they are good to breed. But the thing that makes me mad is that people get on here and trash my grandpa just Bc other people are doing it for just for money. Yeah we get a profit but we care more about the horses than money. If our horses are unhealthy or hurt. We don’t just mistreat them we get them help as fast as possible. And you all can’t get on here a trash talk before you know all the info. Have a great day and God bless you all!
