These babies are so precious. We should value them so much. Horses are the perfect transportation for our world. They have worked for humans and also loved us. Save as many as you can. Are these foals from pregnant mare urine farms? Poor babies so glad they end up with this lovely lady I hope they are are all well now would be good to see an update on them after so long

When you say 70 000 horses are slaughtered every year is that mostly aged horses that have had their day and injured horses that need to go? I thought horses in the US can't be processed so thats why there are so many horse auctions near the Canada and Mexico border where they are taken to get processed

I still can't understand how anyone can give these rescues a thumbs down unless they're killer dealers or their advocates

Even if its the horses time to go, a slaughter house is a horrible place for them to die. I think vet euthanasia is a better option
They all all ages and conditions. Most are really good horses
