I was literally just watching you other videos about these horses and I wanted to say that what you've done is amazing. The fact that you wanted to do this for the horses and not for the views and not for any type of money and it's beautiful.

Rescue horses are like fresh mined diamonds; beneath all that neglect there is a beautiful majestic animal just waiting to shine. I rescued an extremely malnourished and neglected filly from the slaughter corral at an auction. I had her DNA tested to establish ownership because all I got was the auction bill of sale and I paid extra to find out her possible breed as well and she tested out to be PRE Andalusian. I knew she was a diamond but I didn’t know she was a premium diamond! Bless you for saving these majestic beauties 💜💜💜

My horse was there. Not same time as your ones but same auction house. He’s a 16.1hh warmblood gelding. He’s got the kindest personality and I’m glad he’s part of my life. Still lots of work to do with him, but we will get there eventually!
Thank you for saving them! Horses are a blessing to own! Rescue horses can be difficult, but with time, patience and dedication, everything gets better!

I thank you so much for saving these beautiful horses. I saved a horse back in January (one in the photo), and we got to the stage where he could be ridden. He accepted the bit straight away and had a lovely trot, his canter was awkward but we worked through it. He started jumping and he was incredible! We named him Storm and found out more about him, he was a 7yo OTTB HK returnee, he raced 4 seasons in HK and won quite a few. But then he got lame and could barely walk, for bo reason. After 2 weeks he finally stood up so we decided to put in out in the paddocks right next to the stable. He was happy there so we let him be. After a few weeks past, I took his rug off... Storm was skin and bone way worse than before and we had no choice but to take him to the vet. They weighed him (436kgs..), he was 220kg lighter than he should be. We got tests runned and his teeth done, we got everything done that we could. After $1000 spent. No change. No change after 2 months of being fed outrageous amounts of silage and hay +his hard feed. He was getting worse and worse and we didn't know what to do, so we took him back to the vets, we weighed him again and, he was 398kgs, my heart shattered as I knew he had to be put down. I had one whole week to spend with him, and I did, every last minute. A week past and I said goodbye for the last time before I went to school, I had a break down at school and sat in the toilet for 2 hours, pouring my eyes out. When I got home he was gone, and I felt everything closing in, my throat tightened and I cried for days and days afterwards. I can't thank you enough for saving them, please and thankyou💞💞💞

Los Kerry as much as I would love to, at this stage those videos would end up very repetitive, very boring, and last about 30 seconds! This is sooo true what you said: "It's not about whispering to horses, but listening to them."
I got a shelter dog from Spain and I had a dog before and had much experience with dogs. But with this one everything was new for me. Things changed, when I started to listen to him. I had to learn, that it's not the sit, stay, come, that I had to train him, but to give him security. Security and food are the most important things for animals. Once they start to trust you in every situation, things go easy! We are still on our way, but it's a good way.
A really special and great book that opened my eyes, is the one of Temple Grandin: Animals in translation: Animals in translation: The woman who thinks like a cow.
It is really an eye opener.
Many greetings and thank you for your videos from Germany.

I am a horse trainer now, but I rescue horses quite frequently. I reacued my first horse aged 12, and she is 40 now! A little quarter horse cross Icelandic called Blue Bell. I saw this first on Facebook, and had to k ow more about how these horses were going. Your doing so well with them, you should train horses when your older. On the side or as a job. You would be great at it, you seem to really understand each individual. ☺️

I'm so proud of you and your horses!!! I just saved a colt from going to a slaughterhouse in Mexico 3 months ago ..his name is Chase and It is truly destiny that brought me to him ..I felt no peace from the first moment I saw him in a video online -in a feedlot.pen located in a different state- listed as lame and priced super cheap and scheduled to go to slaughter in a week- until (1 hour before he was set to load on truck) I hung up the phone after purchasing him from the slaughterhouse holding facility. I had been watching his video all week long, multiple times a day, checking to see if he was still there and praying someone would buy him ..as the days had passed i began feeling aggravated that no one had bought him yet..then slightly worried ...and when it came to be rather late on the night before he was set to be loaded, I was suddenly overwhelmingly flooded with a sense of icy dread that or his wellbeing and overcome by my own certainty that this unknown desperate stranger far away was my kin, and that the reason no one was coming to save him was because God already knew I was going to be there for him ..and that is why he felt so familiar to me somewhere deep inside my heart the first time I saw him!!

Your journey with these beautiful horses have made me realize what I want to do with my life. I don't just want to be a vertanieran and rodeo. I want to help horses as well. I hope we can meet someday! You have inspired me to be around horses more, but it's hard to because I don't own any. I don't own any land either so it gets really hard to handle my depression and my "anxiety". What I mean by that is riding horses helps my depression I call it horse therapy. I have a strong love and passion for horses I didn't really grow up around horses but when I was around 5 years old I fell in love with horses. I love how spirited they are and how much they bring the real me out when I'm around them or when I'm riding. I rode a worldwide barrel and pole championship horse and his name is Colonel and he is the fastest horse I have ever seen race. I didn't take off on him because I'm still a beginner but I got to ride him and he didn't take off with me on him. He is my heart horse and forever will be, I wish he was mine. I live in Louisiana, which is 9,635 miles away from where you live and my mom will NOT fly on a airplane so I will probably never meet you. Keep those horses looking happy and healthy for us please!

Chole, you are such an amazingly kind person:)!! It is very sad that Mulan lost her fowl and it is very true that animals have personalities that are all different like people. When an animal that is a mammal loses a baby, they grieve too. However, I was so deeply relieved that all 3 of your horses survived that horrible virus!! Also, you did a wonderful job giving these horses lots of care, training, and LOVE:)!! It is true that it takes time an patience when it comes to raising or training an animal and you do have to do it in "their own time". However, learning patience is about loving how to love:)! In my opinion these 3 horses feel blessed "in their own way" to know you have cared so much about them:)!! Like I have a Cat named Mr. Spratt who meowed for 2 hours outside my apartment. I believe that Mr. Spratt "in his own cat way" feels happy that I gave him a home. Animals sense love:)!! Thank you Chole for sharing your compassion for these 3 awesome horses on You Tube:)!! I pray that all 3 of your horses continue to thrive and do well with your love for them:)!!!!

I'm so glad to see more people rescuing! I own two horses currently that I rescued from their old lives. The first is a 10 year old thoroughbred, who while being a little low in weight made it VERY clear that wasn't the main issue. He's crazy smart and knows SO much, but someone was nasty to him. In the beginning I was getting thrown to the ground many times because I'd push too fast or too hard, it took me a while to earn his trust and learn my lesson and though he still has spontaneous panic attacks he's learned to trust so much! The second I rescued a year ago, though it hardly seems like that at all! He's a 5 year old Arabian and in the beginning I was terrified that I'd lose him he was so underweight. It took months to get him to pick up his feet and even longer for him to be comfortable with more people than just me. Now he's the cuddliest little angel and finally ready to be taught to ride! I've been estatic for this since I bought him but I never put a time limit as I had learned that these things take time! Sorry for the ramble! But really, you're doing such an amazing job so far, wishing you so much luck!!!

So thank you for saving the lives of Mulan, the General, and Najaah. I hope they live long and happy lives and will forever know the love of you.

You are an amazing person. It's awesome to see such a loving tender hearted young woman giving so much for these sweet horses. I'm not sure if you know it, but you are changing lives with your love and sacrifice. Well done and keep at it! I can't wait to see what you do next.

Absolutely love this! The only odd thing is that the 'downhill' wouldnt have happened overnight it would have happened gradually. Not too sure why you didnt call a vet? Other than that this is so beautiful

Wow. If the world was full of people like you it would be a far, far better place for all. Those three horses now look amazing and in good health. They know you have helped them and through their illness, and are repaying you the only way they can and that is with love. You are a VERY wise person and love exudes from you. Well done and thank you for this update, I hope there will be more.

Animals do have feelings and that’s a fact! There’s this horse at the barn. When she arrived she was so thin and weak that we didn’t know if she would have make it. She’s been abused for years and years before coming to our school.
I was the only one who gave her love and affection: she wasn’t pretty, she was a bit old...nobody wanted to ride her.
But since the first time I saw her, I felt this connection that was clear to everyone.
She was good at work, but after the lesson, she was shy and didn’t like to be touched. She was like “ok selfish human, I gave you what you wanted, now leave me alone”.
I was the only one she allowed to pet her for a few seconds.
I never gave up on her.
It’s been hard because I was like you: I wanted to “fix her” in a short time. But she needed time. And I needed to learn to be patient.
She taught me how to ride and to accept that I have some limits... she taught me to listen patiently, to be in the flow...and I taught her how to be loved.
    I own her a lot.
After some months, her owner couldn’t recognizer: she was became so sweet and relaxed!
I couldn’t ride for 10 months. When I’m finally back at the barn, she totally freaked out.
She started calling me and ran towards me, scratching her head on my chest and following me around.
    Now we’re finally together.
    I love her so much!
And I guess she loves me too.
And I’m in tears now, because God only knows how special that bond is.
Horses, but animals in general, are amazing!

You are so lucky!! I have loved horses since I was young. My uncle had three horses but I never got to really be around them. But I dearly love them. Where we lived we were not allowed horses in our neighborhood. Today were I live in Tennessee they tell me horses are very very expensive between cutting their hoofs, vet yearly check ups and food many people here can not afford them unfortunately.
