- How to Make Soft & Chewy Lemon Crinkle Cookies
INGREDIENTS
for 20 cookies
1/2 cup butter, softened (113g)
3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
1 egg
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (30ml)
1 tbsp lemon zest (6g)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (192g)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2-4 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
Powdered sugar for coating
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 12 minutes.

I make these all the time. They’re delicious. The fresh lemon taste is amazing. I tried to freeze some to keep me from eating too many. Unfortunately they’re great straight out of freezer like a gingersnap.
I made these cookies, and within 3 hours all 20 where gone! (I only live with 3 other people)
The only modification I made was I added a tiny splash of vanilla. These cookies are so good! Their sweet, tangy, and delicious! I will definitely be making them again soon! 💕

Josselyn Rojas no c’mon give it a go! You may find out it’s good with limes too! Cooking and baking it’s all about experimenting, sometimes goes well sometimes not but it’s worth to try. Honestly sometimes I experiment myself making new recipes and if they are good then I make videos :)

The recipe worked like a charm! I recommend 1 1/2 more teaspoons of lemon juice for a extra lemon-y cookie. I promise it’s not too sour-

I just made these and they are AMAZING 10/10 definitely recommend
I used less butter to make them a little “healthier” (probably a little more than half of what the recipe called for) and I put in some extra lemon juice just to use the whole lemon and the cookies turned out really well with a nice lemon flavor
Also I only chilled them for 30 minutes because I was low on time and I don’t think it really affected them
do we need to bake them on high rack? or medium or lower rack

Butter is not unhealthy. Sugar and flour are the bad ingredients.

@@dani-xw3lc I do that but I check to early and they are not fully cooked so I go inside, I leave them for 2 minutes and they are burnt😂

lmfaoo so i made these and they turned out SO good but they didn't look as appealing look as em's did but they still tasted SO GOOD i give it a 5/5 i highly suggest making them its fairly easy and so yummy
I had no lemon but did have limes. I used them instead. I didn't use yellow food coloring but used green. These are delicious and so easy. Great summer cookies.

I literally messed up the first step. I melted the butter instead of softening it and couldn't be bothered to let it cool down again..
I baked the cookies and the powdered sugar desovled.

I need your help. I also use lime but the lime zest makes the cake a bit bitter, I remove the lime zest and the cake has less lemon flavour. what should I do

I have all the ingredients besides powdered sugar and yellow food coloring! Do you really need powdered sugar?

Thank you for listing the ingredients in thee description box. When I have to search thru that person’s social media, I back out and look for another recipe. Me learned not in box start again for another recipe. I didn’t watch, was wanting these devils in a hurry. While they cooked I watched. Another thank you for the quiet. Oh my goodness guys, i’ve already tried this recipe and it’s so good, not too sweet ,crunchy on the outside , soft on the inside and the bottom is perfectly caramelized as well. I really recommend this one🥰🤤
