Loved this workout! The only part I struggled with was those push ups and side twists so I just did push ups the entire time to keep moving.
Denise you have completely changed my view on exercise. I used to dislike this part of the day, but with your videos and fun work outs, your soft encouraging voice, I cant wait for my work out for the day. You even make me work out on weekends, something I have never done before. Thank you for changing my life :)

26 years ago I gave birth to my baby girl, after 3 months I still weight the same as after I gave birth
So 1 day I was watching Tv
Saw you work out , so I decide to wake up early n work out w you
For 7 months straight , to make story short, I went back to visit my boss
She look at me n said, I thought u quit cuz u we’re prego
I told her I did , gave birth to a baby girl, she said ( u look great n better shape than before .

I still work out after 26 years
Am 53 n I still look as my best.

I guarantee you that you will only develop natural muscle and lower the fat WITHOUT the weights. If you want to feel like you are using a weight without actually using them, get a couple of soup cans, they add just enough to maximize the fat burning. Hope this helps! I have been doing Denise's workouts for 30 years. She always designs her workouts for the "novice" and the "experienced". Hope you have fun with her!
BCL4Jesus What you said isnt true at all. Using weights helps develop muscle faster and helps lower fat percentage by turning fat into muscle.
You will still develop some kind of muscle when you workout any part of the body a lot. Even if you don't use weights. That's just how the body works, you really cant stop muscle production or toning of a certain body part you are working out from happening. Even then most women don't develop that much bulky muscle anyways unless they have side help. These workouts help you tone your arms and give it some muscle. If you don't want to develop muscle or tone them as quickly then I would suggest you only using 2 pound weights at the most. Hope I helped =)
You can use weights but no more than 3lbs per dumbbell,any more than that and you re just gonna bulk up your upper body,looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger or hulk hogan,just use 3lbs or less,and you will not gain muscle,just slim down and firm up the arms.
