When I woke up this morning I did not want to workout. I pushed myself to start this video and I’m so glad I did. I may have taken the first step alone but you guided me the rest of the way. Thank you. I feel so much better.
oh, yes. we do take the first step alone. I find it helps me to set out the yoga mat that I exercise on the night before. There it is in the morning waiting for me to step on it, to step up into working with the video. YAY US! Gratitude to Denise Austin!
For someone that just turned 50 and hasn't exercised in a while, this work-out is perfect! Before I knew it, the one mile was up. Looking forward to doing more of her walking videos.
I love these videos because they are totally doable, and mow that I'm in better shape I combine two of them. They are totally fun, and the more I train, the more I sweat. Denise is awesome, sweet and encouraging. I have follow her through the years, and she is timeless.
i would have to agree, i have the insanity dvds and they are hard on my body. I had to quit after my foot started to swell...pretty bad :(....so now i walk and do light strength training.
I jut can't handle high impact aerobics so this walking pace looks perfect and will try out tomorrow. I also do slimfast on and off and have been back on the slimfast plan steadily since September. Plus walking to RUclips videos twice or more per week. Anyone else here doing slimfast also?
I don't like her workout dvd because she doesn't give you time to learn the exercises, always hurrying you through. It isn't a tutorial, so not for people who want to start or are beginners, but rather for those who have a momentum going and just want a change.
I'm surprised that for as many years as she's been an instructor, she hasn't figured out how to preview a move, then count down for a smooth transition. Oh well, everyone has their own way of doing things and she does have a lot of good workouts.

Ok I'm sorry, i love Denise, she's so adorable but she COMPLETELY bit off of Leslie Sansone's Walking routines. Specifically the Punch Up Your Walk one with the hand weights and the 3 mile walk with the resistance band belt....It's insane

I thought this workout was too easy but then I increased the pound of weights and got a good sweat going!

Denise has been around since the early 90's doing her walk fit videos since then. I've never heard of this other lady you mentioned.
Both ladies have been in the fitness world for about the same amount of time. In fact, Denise is a few years older than Leslie.
I like Denise more, than the others)
