I have been doing Denise for decades. Her workouts WORK...and she's not at all annoying. Which is so important! I have found so many workouts impossible to do, because of a barking instructor. There is something about Denise's voice that is soothing, inspiring, motivating...and fun...never difficult to listen to her ;)
I used a similar dvd to lose 90 pounds ten years ago, along with other aerobic/cardio Denise Austin workouts, also walking on treadmill 3X week and eliminating sugar. Denise Austin changed my life.

I don't care what they drink/eat or whatever, I just said that's a really good workout. Going to the gym is one of the common activities in my every-day routine and I can tell you that you can make workouts work even avoiding the assumption of "helpers" to burn fat or, in my case, to tone; I'm not saying I'm against it, of course. I don't care how they look like, and I don't think they look like that only doing this workout two-three times a week, what I admire is the motivation Denise emanates and I can guarantee you that that type of exercices work. PS: my english is not perfect, I'm sorry.

She's so inspiring and encouraging as always! I think this works better for me if I put the speed down 0.75 - but I still have a bit of difficulty balancing on my arms, either way.
The pacing, the technicals, the timing, and yes actually getting more patient with the two impossible ones really does make my chest feel different several weeks later, all make this video fantastic. And I LOVE the rowing exercise (though I have to say I think she forgets about the family jewels, it's not just me look at the men's faces during some of these)

Just do these exercises on an alternating basis. Meaning, for every two reps she does, just do one. That should slow it down for the out of shape person.

It would be a shame for you not to melt fat when other normal people accomplish it easily using Fat Blast Furnace (search for it on google).

It's very realistic, I love it and have been exercising with Denise since around the age of 10 years old, maybe you should try Cardio instead.
