Great video, it reminded me of as a windsurfer l took a prototype very fast windsurf board made by Colman out to Fuerteventura the board was very narrow compared to my racing windsurf board and was very difficult to carve so my only way was to sink the back down into the water and flick it around something that was fantastic when l got it right it was by far the fastest windsurfer board on the water and nobody got near to its upwind speed, when l took the board back the Company decided it would be to small of a market so did not continue with it
Loved the last two videos. After 30 years of windsurfing I’ve just started winging to make the most of the lighter winds where I live in SE Michigan. I’m progressing and keen to make the most of the many 10 to 15 days we have. Been trying to decide between a 7 m or a downwind board for the next purchase. I think I’m convinced the 7 m is the way to go until I’ve got the skill for the DW board. I like the real shots of people falling in makes me feel at home.
John super nice to meet you digitally.. yea I am keen to join you one day and jeremy oceanbound up there too! - you should connect and the lads at mackite . I think the lakes have a lot of wind chop so def go power wing to get up fast and when you ready the board will come. i still love my giant old fone board for touring .. then sinker for waves and to get rid of my belly fat... one day I dive your wrecks there too thx for connecting keep going legend :) regards justin and bev who is in new york today so she closer than me ahhaha ..
Justin did you try to go out on the F-One board? If you could get up with a 7m and the F-One then there is really no reason to struggle with the DW board unless you want to drop to a 5m or 6m wing
@@bmrbca3658 hi yes you are right the fone board is the old easy one ..it was more of an experiment of the comparison between the two ..the forward drive of the the narrow board was very fast :) thx for reaching out through our learning curve ..since the video we have decided to go 80 lite boards to play in the surf and on light wind of 8 knots and above ..sub 6 knots I rather go play Airsoft or scuba haha 🤣 thx again warm regards
ooh my gosh what a tough one to answer you ripping my heart aahahah. I am convinced naish, duotone and f-one meet secretly somewhere and develop products making each one soooo different that you have to buy them all. The cwc will be your friend for a long time I think and will be great in high wind and waves and she very gentle on the arms and soft handles. If you live in a region with hardly any wind and a heavier rider and you want more juice in the low end, the ventis is great and she also flies light and will be also good in waves, but with the handles you will feel pretty solid and wear a helmut... I honestly can say you can get the same power out the cwc but you must perfect your technique while the ventis is pull in and go ..flip they both rad wings cant you try both in a demo? infact try any wing first if you can and its about your relationship with your local dealer i am trying to review the naish adx, but can only get a size 5 ...so not sure on the very low wind there, but heard good reports on it and its a better budget :) hope this helps sorry :)
Please no music. I only want to hear you and the wind and the waves clapping against whatever. I loved the video but that classical music was too distracting
