This is such a good starter guide. I know how to play TT, but getting a half-decent starter deck is pretty hard if you don't know the "easier" NPCs around the world and haven't acquired some decent boss cards or from buying them with MGP.
thank you for your comment! yeah the card drops are random, so unfortunately it might take a while, I had to fight Prideful Stag at least 30+ times before I got the Lost Lamb card :( Keep trying and you'll get it eventually!
It looks like you just need to continue the main story quest line a bit more, once you finish a quest named A Wild Rose by Any Other Name, you should be able to play her!
How is one supposed to get the card of Nell half-full? I beat her like 1/10 and if I win I get nothing... Am I supposed to grind 100 hours for one card? xD -.-
Thank you for your comment! Those cards become available from the trader once you reach certain points in the story later! Keep playing and they will show up eventually! :)
Thank you for your comment! The next milestone to aim for is 60, after that just aim for the achievements. They recently released a new mount if collect all cards 1 - 312, so aim for that!
What about Wymond near the Uldah main Atherite? Should I try to get any of his cards? So is the setup in this vid the most optimal for first 30 cards? I don't understand this. I won like dozens of times against Prideful Stag before finally getting my card. WTF? How to make it go faster? Also, I went to the vendor. I don't see the cards - Chapuli, Muud Suud Card, Mossling.
Hey thanks for your comment! I didn't include Wymond since you can get Coblyn from Maisenta who's easier, and his other card Lolorito has a lower drop rate. As for Priddeful Stag, it's all just luck, I had to play him a ton to get the card too. And the other vendor cards will appear as you progress in the MSQ, I think some time in Stormblood!
I lost quite a few times, but also won a few! eventually i moved along this guide's recommendation. (played some of the gates for MGP and then purchased more) once you get some better cards it does get easier!
I had a hard time too, but then I realized I hadn't been learning the rules properly so took some time to read through them again and then it was easy beans

Im having a problem, i cant seem to unlock the voracious vath for a game. Ive done msq but the quest doesnt show up for me

Aaaah thank you for this! I had to play a lot of round with some of the npc's with multiple cards but that just gave me more money.

better search first challenges with the rule reverse for early cards.. this ones will be hard..
