Are you going to spend the next 2 to 3 winter months doing the earthworks and landscaping of the fairway and tee-boxes? So that come early spring you are ready and then you can seed them and have them ready in just 3-5 weeks into spring? All grown in?
Looking great Ben! How about you make a nursery in some tubs that you could move around to keep them in a good growing area? Eg, near a north facing wall in the sun. Just need a way to keep it mowed.
Hey man its looking awesome. Hey re the trees shading the green, looks like the trees in the centre (looks like two trees, 3 trunks) These appear to be evergreens... I would take these out and leave the deciduous trees on the outside. Much more sun in Autumn and Winter when the sun is low in the sky. Good luck!
Absolutely poppin, the amount of grass off the green, Wow. Love the definition of the green collar too. It really accentuates the whole green. Brilliant. Everytime I watch one of your Vids I want to get out and cut and feed my grass, but in Bonnie Scotland its harder due to the amount of H20 Lol.
2:23 I thought for sure one of the sponsors would have a set of those high powered lights that they push the MCG turf with. Surely they'd be right to lend it to you? Never mind the power bill! 🤣🤣
Looking good. Everything looks like it is right on pace.... another few weeks for edges and collar to fill in, and tighten up, and another 1 or 2 to ease it down to play height, and Bob's your uncle. Maybe a week or two inside the 14-16 week window we usually allow for a "seed to play" grow in, up here in Canada. The Bentgrass looks very happy.
Goodday Ben. Love the lawn tips vids, keep them coming. Have a question for you, What do yiu do with the clippings off the green. Perhaps include in a videos. Regards Eddie.
looking great !! i wonder if you guys in australie use lime for lawn to desoure the soil.? we in the netherlands have to use it to prevent moss from growing.
You should go for two cuts and then leave some long on the run offs, get some of those, ball running down and nestling against the rough situations... love seeing the contrast between the two heights
Hey man, Another great video. Everything is looking top notch. Just an idea: what about having a small area say out of sight for growing the grass for plugs and any repairs that might come up. Anyway thanks for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne 3810.
It looks epic! Would be great to see a flashback of the same area before you started.
That’s a great idea actually!
The green is looking strong m8
Mate!! That is looking sooooo sharp!!! Peeeuuure!
It is so funny to see your leaves falling. Fall in the Southern Hemisphere.
Hands up to all my Dads watching this

I vote for starting a nursery for plugs
Please make a golf video of you and your mates playing. Would love to see some more golf.
Respect for living the dream man
🇬🇧
Id keep the surround at 18, 10 for collar. Looking real good now 👌
Looking like a golfing post card picture 👍😂. The trees can always be trimmed more if it becomes a problem or 🪚 one out
Certainly gives me an appreciation into the time and effort required to maintain a green and you haven’t even got to the fairway yet😮
Something about watching you go round n round and mow the rye with the triplex is so satisfying bro😍
Am I one of those mates? 😂😂
Mate, it just keeps looking better and better 👌
All looking spot on bro
Looking good!! So pure!!
Looking awesome. Just a thought, next to your tee box you should build a nice deck or pad for deck chairs.
Yes a longer vid luv it
Thanks for the update on the surrounds
Plugging those thin spots definitely your best bet
Looking unreal! sheesh I love that JD greens mower 😍

Time to chop chop those trees shading the green!
I look forward to every video, love it 👌
Looks better and better all the time

So so good Ben Sims 👌👌👌
Hello from Canada. Our season is just starting for lawn repair. It's still too cold for full seed germination, but my plugs are doing well.
Amazing watching your vision come to life mate! Congrats
Congratulations you rock ❤
Great work mate!!! I love your posts!!!
Looks unreal man. Done such a good job and considering ur mostly on ur own. Should be proud!
What a transformation. It looks great!!

Could you do a trial of Protesyn by Floratine for us to see how well the ‘liquid Sunshine’ works on your patch that gets 4 hours of sun a day?
Loving following along. When will you be doing fairways and tee boxes?
Reckon you could a few shots of some shots you and your mates get? Would be nice to watch
Nice! Would like to see some putts and shots into the green at different flag locations.
You better show us some golf shots onto the green
Did last week mate 😉
Looking amazing!!
Thoughts on doing a 2 flag green when your having a hit on it from multiple tee boxes ?
looking great !!

My course is 1inch with 1/2 inch collar

Looks so sick
Hey man,

So when are you starting the nursery? Might help for your tee box’s aswell when you start them
Looking great!!! What do you do with all the grass clippings?
Is there any use to the clippings from the catcher, or do they just get thrown away? Autumn is looking great.
Any reason why you don't use a catcher when mowing the green?💗💗x
Would be good to know how the Kik lawn in the front of the house is doing as well
Any reason for no catchers on the tri plex?
Why are areas on the collar not growing??? Cheers
I wonder if you could do some other designs. Tiger stripes or squiggles or something on the green. I have no idea if that is even possible.
Looking so good mate. What carbon product do you use ?
what up mate
What are your soil temps at the moment?
Cool
I was about to say did u start a nursery area on the side?
5/10/18 would be a nice combo
3/10/18 👌
@@shaunray6660 once it’s ready 3 for sure!
That cabbage/lettuce type weed is such an eyesore. Got to go!
Bent has grain ?
Time to start working on the fringe, I thought a bent fringe would be the norm?
Needs multiple tees and multiple pins.
Yea a dew brush i hate the site of them when uv done 18 greens on your own you have had a work out
I would love to hear you say “dew” and “Jew” and try to figure out which one you’re saying. Always love these videos!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Goddamn 😳🙌
❤🤙👍
It wouldnt be a real cut if his hand didnt go into the catcher!
