Great work! I’ve been watching for a few years and told myself I would only subscribe if 1) this guy actually builds this golf green in the pasture he keeps talking about and 2) he actually uses it to hit balls on to it. Crazy the amount of time and energy that goes into something like this. Major props for sticking to it. Really excited to see where this goes over the next few years
OMG I’ve played golf since I was 10 and I never new that about repairing pitch marks lol - I’ve always just done what my old man showed me and lifted them up then tapped them down 😂
Brilliant Ben, that was exciting watching your first shot. The new sprayer looks great, anything to help your back. Onwards and upwards, cant wait for the wee tournaments that will be fun.
So awesome to see how nervous you are.. I would be too! Congratulations..I bet mentally, you have been waiting for this a long time. I think we’d all go long on the first one!
Hey Ben, yes i would appreciate a sprayer calibration tip if possible please. I have a solo sprayer but have no idea what each colour nozzles represent and how that follows through to actually calibrating it as well. Thank bro, looking forward to you next season of mini videos as well 🙌
And there I was happy with the kik out front and I knew you would do the green but didnt think it would look this good. It’s been some journey. Looking forward to the rest of the hole aswell as the new tips your gonna be doing.
Congratulations on hitting your first shot to the green. 🏌♂️ Q. How do you stop your dog from pissing on the green. 🤔 I'd love to see a mini series on spraying, what to top dress with, ect. So thanks for sharing this monumental moment with me. ✌️ peace from Melbourne 3810.
Congrats bro, must be such an awesome feeling. So jealous you have this in your backyard! Once those tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are done it's gonna be SICK!!!
Congratulations mate!! It has been a long but enjoyable journey watching you get to this part. Massive enjoyment watching this vid today! Keep it up, enjoy a beer 🍺 . 🎉🎉🎉
That green is poppin'! You must get tons-of-sun there -I'm in Tassie and the sun is gone by 4:00. Are you going to be like LIV Golf and have some pumping 'choons' going when you invite other lawnies over?
Greetings once again from America! There’s a guy here that has a channel spud run golf and is having an issue with Bentgrass coming up in the spring. I know you’re going in to fall and winter but how would you push spring growth on Bentgrass? I sent him your way and hope he seeks you out. I told him what I’ve learned from you which is the micros to really help the macros do what you want them to do. Excellent content as always and oh yeah, at what soil temps did you start fall overseed? I have similar cultivars, 007 and 777. That is a long fall season you guys have down there!
Was actually pretty small compared to what I see on mature greens. Probs a bit hard to tell on camera. The pitch marks will actually get deeper on this green and the green will get softer once a thatch layer builds up
Can you pls do a ‘short’ on 15l backpacks which is what most of us have - ie like pgr how do you know how to spray out 40g/100m2 etc it’s really not that clear - even after calling syngenta
Would love to see sprayer tips video's, I'd prefer a longer vidoe rather than a few short but if you do chose short form ...for the love if all that is good don't upload it to shorts
So happy this day has come, many hours spent watching this amazing journey. Well done mate.

Top notch, my favorite saying is “Do it once do it right” and you definitely have done it right it’s looking phenomenal for how young it is
I've been repairing ball marks wrong for the better part of 30 years. Thanks for that. 👍
You should definitely put a tee box in the spot you filmed the intro!
This man a legend. Single handed build golf course himself. From scratch.
Your not wrong..what a spot up on that tee!
OMG I’ve played golf since I was 10 and I never new that about repairing pitch marks lol - I’ve always just done what my old man showed me and lifted them up then tapped them down 😂
finally getting to see you enjoying you're hard work. very satisfying.
Looking great!

Thank bro, looking forward to you next season of mini videos as well 🙌
Green looks smick, great videos. Really liking the series. A lawn tips tips video will be excellent. Keep up the great work Ben
And there I was happy with the kik out front and I knew you would do the green but didnt think it would look this good. It’s been some journey. Looking forward to the rest of the hole aswell as the new tips your gonna be doing.
Stoked for you Ben Sims.
It’s all starting to pay off. 👌👌👌
First Aussie 😁. Ben, it’s all happening at the Lawn Ranch. 🤠
Great stuff! Also, the golf swing has come a long way. Looking smooth!
Congrats dude! That must have felt great hitting one in for the first time after all the hard work. The green looks absolutely incredible!
Looking amazing!
Congratulations on hitting your first shot to the green. 🏌♂️

lets get a tee box other side of the house for a long par 3 challenge! Green looks amazing!

Would love to see some info on how to control pennywort in mixed grass please! It’s a stubborn pest!
Stop lifting your head on those chips 😂. So awesome Ben, congratulations.
There is always one golf advice giver out there 😂
Thanks mate

Congratulations Ben 🥳🏌🏼
Would love a video on how to get rid of ants in lawns. Cheers, the green looks great
well I don't have a yard so the lawn tips wont help me but I'm here for the par 3 build!
That green is poppin'! You must get tons-of-sun there -I'm in Tassie and the sun is gone by 4:00.
Are you going to be like LIV Golf and have some pumping 'choons' going when you invite other lawnies over?
Some videos on the boom sprayer calibration would be good to watch . Man things look amazing 👍
Dude, looks fantastic. Have you ever considered getting into greens keeping?
Greetings(wazzap)from Denmark, been following your massive project... impressive!!! well done !
Definitely need a tee block there at 3:15 👌🏼
Nice bro. Must have been a good feeling to send one into that green
What an exciting day! Cheers mate
I feel a hole in one coming soon yeah. Great content.
Unreal bruh, so sick, congrats!
Well done mate 😎
I make Left Tool do the shots on camera
hmm you should make a series where you add a green side sand bunker would look awesome and a fun practice bunker
How much has this project cost so far? And what are your weekly cost for firt dressing and such?
tee box should definitely be in the spot you started the video with
this is so cool! congrats on this feat

Living the dream bro!
Will the green firm up more in the future? Dent was deeper than i expected. Thanks
Was actually pretty small compared to what I see on mature greens. Probs a bit hard to tell on camera.

Congrats.
Just remember Ben when you use that sprayer you have to put some ass into it!!
Calibration vids would be great 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Do a 100 shots hole in 1 challenge video!
A tip small series would be great
You should have multiple tee's and holes
From my experience once you hit that first shot the flood gates open and can’t help yourself but to play almost every day
How about a challenge between you and Friedeggsgolf and their home made green😁✌️❤️🤘
What are those sunglasses you're rocking?
I’d like a tip video on how to look good wearing shorts that only cover my mid thigh.
I can give tips on shorter ones as well if you like?
waiting for the next golf tip vids!!!!
Best winter grass pre emergent to use on perennial rye grass?
Ethofumesate lightly watered in
3 tee boxes? 3 different experimental turfs could be good to see
Re create happy Gilmore last hole and play it where it lies!
And then show how you would fix it haha
What is something similar to vitalise for us boys in the US?
12th Man flashback at 12:15 "wind from the north west" #tonysweatherwall
Would love to see sprayer tips video's, I'd prefer a longer vidoe rather than a few short but if you do chose short form ...for the love if all that is good don't upload it to shorts
So good bro tell you what if i win lotto i will fly over for the 1st tournament on the green😂
Wouldn't it be better if pulled so your not tracking through your product?
What? Wait, you're going to do some vids, with lawn tips in them????!!!!😂
Those foam blobs look so much like my golf ball when walking down the fairways 🙄
??
Some long putts next time 😂
I wish i had 100k of equipment to do this.
Stupid question, why do you put a foliar feed out and then just cut it off? #askingforamate
I mowed about 15 hours later. It’s will be taken up by the leaf of the plant in about 3-4 hours. No problems with mowing after this
@@LawnTips cool. Make sense. Ripper videos.
So second channel coming? Golf Tips?
Nice
Build a bunker!
Yessssss 🤜🏼🤛🏼
doh..missed the green on first shot! new greens are always rock hard and never hold anything
Didn’t need to build a green to hit it in the trees bra 😂
Shhh 🤫
Beautiful green man! I have one at my place about 2500 sq feet. That thing is a monster!
Lookin schmick !!
Mate you should have just grown a rough and left the green out 😂
1:39 Did you have a stroke?
Maybs
@@LawnTips Words are hard. Don't these heavy tools with narrow wheels (fertilizer & top dresser) damage the green?
Nah not at all mate. They are quite light weight and have turf tyres as well which are designed for turf.
Teeing off from an elevation will mean you need less club to get there.
Correct. I did club down but my distances are a bit off at the moment haha. Seem to be hitting further than I did a few months back
@@LawnTips it was the adrenalin mate! 😂
@@nickmaguire4914 probs that as well. But last game I had at the golf course I was flying the green on all the par 3’s 😂
New series - a shot a day for 30 days. RUclips shorts.
Hitting a shot over your dog nearly gave me a heart attack
