You always put out a GREAT Video, Diff! I enjoy designing and building more than driving them. Anyone can order parts from a catalog, but I would rather build every part if at all possible. I'm 75 now and have been building hot rods since I was 14, I love the process!
@@DaSoulmann that is exactly my problem!😅And once the build is done I lose interest & have to move on to the next project! I'm addicted to the creating...
Your craftsmanship is unquestionable, but I cannot help noticing how well your videos are produced. Good lighting, good sound, well balanced content. You explain the idea and concept behind the design and then show the key parts of the fabrication with some tricks of the trade and without any boring, unnecessary details. It's a real pleasure watching your channel.
Awesome afternoon brother from another country another awesome adventure with my brother from another country another great step in progress awesome craftsmanship brother
The curve in the bumper was one labor intensive detail ! A truly impressive design addition ! The amount of work that went in to the bumper is mind blowing ! You make it look quick and easy on camera , but those of us who fabricate have a great appreciation for the hours spent and creativity . Good Job !
Div! When your video started and I saw the curved bumper I thought "Nah, No. Don't do it!". When I finally saw the completed job I thought. Wow! What a cool idea!
Thanks, Diff, for another great vid. Love the way everything is flowing together. yes, you are making more work for yourself. Man! the end result. makes and awesome.
Hey Div, When you first suggested a curve in the bumper I thought you had lost your mind ! But WOW ! The finished product looks fantastic ! Those faceted smaller lights look like they were made for the rear of a chopper , ( Motorcycle ). Work Safe, Be Well Enjoy Life
Extremely overbuilt, as usual man! And about the magic knife: Morakniv is a brand from Sweden. Not so expesive but very high quality. Groeten uit Nederland
Your air suspension is a fine piece of engineering and your bumper is a fantastic piece of craftsmanship. The best part is that it makes the truck look happy to be going down the road.
I totally agree that curves makes a car beautiful, which is why I like the look of my 1st gen Audi TT so much. Excellent job on designing and fabricating the bumper, it compliments the rest of the build really well.
It's looking pretty good Div. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
With the amount of work and design put into all of the details you can’t call it a rat truck because it truly is a full blown kustom. Great fabrication, I love it. Cheers!!
The sign translates to " no unauthorized entry". The proper term for your prism lenses is called faceted.! Like a diamond has facets.😬😇Love your channel by the way.! 👍👌✌💛🗽💯
I like it looks great alot of work right there.. I can see those fat fenders on the rear. And a cool visor on the windshield. This one is going to be the Hot rod.Take care Diff.
Hey Diff. Sorry that I don't leave many comments. I watch all of your videos and I love how you are using your creative mind to build your truck. I watch you on my Smart TV and I can't leave a comment. But I do leave a 👍and I hope that helps your channel. My channel is growing slow, but I don't do the things that you do. Keep up the amazing fab work and thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍
Dif, you really like to make work for yourself don't you. I enjoy watching you design something like your curved bumper and then expertly fabricate it. Your idea to cut a nice round hole for the frenched taillights worked perfectly. You certainly have all the right tools. Thanks for showing us your ideas and how you bring everything together to make your vehicles unique and interesting. The bumper looks great, however, Bob is not my uncle.
Hey Diff, that plazma cutter trick with the hole has me thinking I should get me one of those. The small lights are called " jewel" lights around the US Midwest. An old biker and hot rodder trick was to install a blue jewel inline with the taillight bulb. Called " blue dot" jewels. Makes the light a little purple- ish. Looks cool! When I get going on some seemingly small detail only I seem to understand, I simply call it " truck art"! You my friend are an artist!! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Hey Diff. Love the videos. You said at the end where to put the gas tank. I think like an old propane tank on that back piece you made. And make another curve to wrap the back half.
Brilliant thinking Div that is a well engineered rat rod, If you made a tailgate you could fit the fuel tank under the bed line at the back behind the tailgate and under the floor
Looking GOOD !! That’s a smiling bumper 😁 love it brother. Those speed holes on the tail end might even play a tune going down the road. My 53’ semi trailer use to play music while parked on a windy day. 👍🏻✌🏻
Very cool. Looks like the truck was made to fit it! I have a friend from Cape Town. I just spent about an hour trying to figure out what part you were from since your accent is a little more "rich" than my friend's. Then it occurred to me to go have a look at your first video and I got my answer. Thank you for the introduction "Diff". And thank you for sharing your experiences and your 40+ years of experience. Cheers from Oregon City, Oregon USA! - Jared
Hey Jared. My accent is a bit messed up🙂 I grew up in a farming community with Afrikaans as my mother tongue. Then I went traveling as a young man and lived in many different places for long times. Brazil, Caribbean, USA to name a few
Those little cut lights are totally Awesome, I've always been a sucker for out of the ordinary lights , good call on those and and awsome look for the back 😊.
Google translate says that your sign reads "No entry unauthorized"
You're quite the artist. I love the look of the truck so far.
Thanks for taking the trouble to look it up. No I know too🙂

Diff absolute great looking rear bumper. Your design ideas always surprises me
Thank you!
The rear end of that truck has curvs like a musical instrument...looks great....

Thanks! Yeah, more work than would make any sense. But, if you want something in a particular way, then it is what it is...😅
I said it before and I’ll say it again. that’s no rat rod !! way too nice , that’s a bad ass Hot Rod Brother , I love it !! 🖤👍

Love how the backend bumper you made that’s curved and has all of the holes and lights too
That is a sweet curve and it's turning out to be one stud Hudson, very sharp Diff, I'm diggin it
That's a Frost's Mora knife, best knives there are. in business since the 1800's and still to this day makes the best knives
Div! When your video started and I saw the curved bumper I thought "Nah, No. Don't do it!". When I finally saw the completed job I thought. Wow! What a cool idea!

Black lights as tail lights are a great idea especially if you're being followed by a "Keep On Truckin" poster, or an old hippy...
That tail looks great, Div. Every speed hole is worth the effort, for sure!
Good job my friend it’s looking good , I like your Project I learn something to day which is good. God bless you Sir and have a blessed day , Aman.
That bakkie is turning into a tour de force👌
Man you do amazing work can’t wait to see it finished
Amazing piece of work tonight Diff.

I love the speed holes.
Hard work for you and very relaxing for me. Even had my dammed foot tapping. Your use of basic tools is amazing. Love the music.

Hi Diff, love the bumper, 19.48 we have words like that in Scotland like Scummindooninbuckets' (coming down in buckets ) when the rain is heavy.
Again, you blew my mind with your plywood plasma cutting guides
Give it a try, works great! 🙂
Thanks brother! That's a cool looking bumper.
Thanks Bob. Glad you like it!
Mora knife from sweden.
Sweden's steel are the highest quality in the word 😎❤
I’m feeling a couple of exhaust tips need to come out of two of those holes.
Can’t get enough of your design thinking and execution. ❤
