- Making a Crusty LUV look a little bit better
Swapping out 2 headlight set up to the earlier 4 headlight set up on a Crusty 1978 Chevy Luv. Replacing the front bumper with early style valance and dropping the torsion bars to lower the front end

I miss my Grandpas luv truck…Wish i still had it…they got ride of it when i was 13 yrs old…
I know how that goes, My dad had a 53 Chevy and sold it a few months before I got me learners permit. I had plans!
Love The 4 Head Light Set Up.
Thanks, I like 4 headlights the best myself. 😎👍
I remember when i was 16 I started Foothill minitruck club out here in California. Those like me with the Courier would head to a particular muffler shop in the area to heat up our front coils to lower them. He'd keep the heat on them to we said stop. Great times.
Very cool!
Looking good there buddy! 🏆🏁😎✌️
Thanks Jay 👍
Fantastic!!🎉😊
Front valance might look good mat black as well.
I was shocked how great my front end looked when i sent my bumper in for chrome. Had i known I may have ran without it. Like a Chevelle. Its four headlights for me. Thanks for another fun video!
You are right, I always thought the 4 headlight set up looked a little like a Chevelle too. Thanks for watching!
Luv the look on the blue machine. Those wide rims are perfect for it. Good looking truck!
Thanks 👍
76 luv here
Awesome, My first Luv was a 76 stepside. Thanks for watching!
I am a big fan of a quad light setups on a Chevy LUV! The ride lowered looks better. That's my opinion. Back when Walmart had really good paint for 89 cents a can sometimes 50 cents a can I sprayed mine yellow. I did a really good job with the blackout on the grill and bezels. I primed them painted them and clear coat. You don't have to worry about patina on the valence it'll get that automatically parking blocks. But I think this truck would look nice with a fresh coat of blue. Even if it's just commercial tractor type paint.
Thanks, I always say, one of the bad parts about getting older is you remember how cheap things used to be!
@@LuvTruckGarage true but paycheck was smaller back then
Looks good! I like the color you used. 👍👍 What year is this one?
Thank you, This one is a '78 and the 4x4 is a 79
@@LuvTruckGarage Okay, thanks. Hope you have a good weekend and a nice Christmas and new year. 🤙
