I've been making art for around five years now, but I'm very much a visual artist with a knack for copying things from the real world to paper. Because of this, I have literally never learned anatomy, and I'm terrible at drawing from imagination unless it's something i've drawn a million times before. I decided to bite the bullet and finally learn, and your videos are perfect. You’re helping me out so much!!
I have been drawing for years off of pure passion, try to learn anatomy but it's convoluted and boring with a lot of other channels, OR it is too overstimulating. This maybe the first tutorial that made complete sense to me of this type. The slight animations to accentuate different shapes and their placement , as well as your simple and confident line placement made this perfect for people who may or may not have ADHD. I'll be around. ALSO PLEASE SUPPORT HIS PATREON IF YOU CAN!!! I know for a fact I will when I start my new job
No joke these videos seem to help me and motivate me to work on anatomy. You talk about the important muscles to pay attention to, how they work, and you compare them to shapes all in a short but effective video Thank you!
Tell me you don’t find the pec attachment to the humerus surreal. The way the fibers twist is mesmerizing 😍❤ definitely 1 of my favorite features of anatomy.
I just want to say, bro, your videos have been so helpful. I started working on a webcomic some time ago and since watching ur videos I’ve gotten faster and more efficient with my drawings. A million and one thanks.
i just want to sharing my way of doing it cuz basically we doing the same thing, the only difference is that what i am often do is i always draw the sternocleidomastoid to determine the center of the clavicle or sometimes "T" line for the middle of it as the sternum. great videos with clear explanation tho! thanks for sharing it, man!!
ty for this video, i tried it a second i saw the video, and my god my sketch looks so alive and believable, compared when i did it with other ways thank you
Your tutorials are so easy to understand, maybe because it's similar to Proko's. Oh and your camera from below poses looks cool, you make it look easy haha.
Great work as always man, i do wish there's a feet tutorial, i struggle with them the most in a way that doesn't feel like my figure looks off. But erm yes. Just a suggestion, no need to but the way u explain things make me want a feet tutorial ❤❤❤
Fatastic video, thank you! I'd love to see you make a video on drawing the neck and shoulders too! Also the waist area (particularly for females) and knees, KNEES!!
This is great stuff, thank you for these videos. I have always had trouble showing the connection of the chest, midsection, and the pelvis from the rearview. Would you be able to cover this as well?
🙏🏻 I'm rewatching these again. I was wondering about the deltoid. My upper body looks decent except for my deltoid. I'm still quite confused from the three separations and how far apart or what shape they are. I'm also still clueless on what shape or insertion the trapezius is going to make when inserting in the deltoid. That's why when you make poses when the camera is above the head, I still don't get the shape that much.
my question is how would you draw a scrawny persons chest ive never been able to for as long as ive tried it never really worked out kinda the same thing with female character's.
🤔That’s a good question. Maybe the chest would be less full? Not as round of a contour? Certainly maybe the area around the sternum would look a bit more sunken in, you know?
your anatomy is perfect for rough animations dude
😊😊 Thanks, man!
Honestly, that’s why I’m watching it. I’m gonna animation major and I wanna get better at this kind of stuff.
@@jakelevinson7802 Really!? Same here.
Bro same here

It is a very interesting attachment. 🤔
I love the way you utilize words with examples of drawing certain things. Most art videos ppl talk too much before starting.
dude ive finally solved the issue of connecting the lats to the tricep cuz of ur simplifications ily
Man i always wanted someone to simplify anatomy for art, and your methods are simply gold where were you all this time 😭
You’re one of my favorite figure artists i’m so glad you chose to make a RUclips channel.

I feel like watching this has genuinely made me less scared to try to draw human anatomy. Just a little but it's a start
Just a little bit is all it takes. 😊
This is great stuff, thank you for these videos. I have always had trouble showing the connection of the chest, midsection, and the pelvis from the rearview. Would you be able to cover this as well?
I want to turn all the stones for video topics, so yeah!
good video

"Bro anotomy is easy!"- i said before spending one and a half years drawing anotomy and still rewatching this video because my shoulders are small 💀🍷
