Holy shit I always get so hyper. See another one of your videos posted. You’re one of my favorite figure drawing artist and I wanna learn so much from your work
This is crazy glaze bro
@@costcoh348weirdo.
Thanks for this, you did well explaining your reasoning behind things. Some tutorials will be like "add a line here bc that looks good" but you pretty much just explained it like "You know that box exercise? This is that but distilled" and that clicked for me.
I've been drawing for approx 6 years already and thought that I've watched so many YT tutorials that there simply cannot be any more new/useful info for me, but your tips series has fortunately proved me wrong! Even though the general concepts are familiar to me, the way you simplify them and offer your own approaches to learning about these things is super valuable! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
Woahh that part of the torso you highlighted when it indicates a plane change is actually smart. But my focus keeps getting pulled in on how fast good you are at legs I love itt! 💖💖
That cross contour line was so helpful !, I do cross contour practices in shapes but I never thought applying it in body to determine the perspective. Worth clicking this vid, just earned a sub.
Thaaanks, and welcome! 😊
Torso is my HUUUUUUUGEEEE enemy, and you are my hero for this
Simplifying and combining method to what you like is the key to draw faster and better

That pose reminded me of cloud strife lol
been waiting for this since its been announced, very grateful. hopefully we also get something on clothes and fabric.
You have a great way to teach and simplify for us. Thanks!
Fantastic Class!!!!👏👏👏👏
Love this content! Cant wait for more!
Just what I needed! Thank youu
You do not know how helpful this was 😭😭
I love all of your tutorials Emilio, your style is my favorite of all out there. I wish we can see more!
IMMACULATE
This was so helpful thank you for the tutorial it was very easy to understand🤩🤩
Brilliant tutorial well done man
keeps me going more tips likes this
Thanks, these tutorials are great, I gotta try this 😊
Thank you!
Wow thank you so much.. i had requested this in your previous video..❤❤ 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!
Oh wow! I never knew you had a youtube channel. Ive loved your art for some years now, this is a pleasant surprise.
Question here. You said the first front view pose was flat, so the answer to fix that is just to not draw a straight on front view, but rather a 3/4th's view? How do you draw a front view with more form without turning the pose to the side? Thanks.
That was actually the point. 😅 I wasn't drawing a front view, I was drawing a 3/4 view. The flat plane just made it look like a front view.
That would be a separate video altogether.
@@emiliodekureart oh, i think i see where i got confused. The legs/hips in the first pose was "correct". It was only the torso that got "flattened". ok, thank you!
Thank you for making this video. I already have my method to draw the torso but this videos always helps haha!
I’ve been following you on Instagram for I don’t know how long
Great video! and perfectly timed! adds more information from a proko video I just seen on the torso too!
😊🙏 Thaaanks!
love your videos keep up the great work Mr.Dekure
Thanks! I'll try. 🫡
This is so awesome, underrated af :0
Love these videos! I don’t know if you take suggestions from comments, but if you do another video on torsos some tips on the serratus muscle would be great :-D
I really needed this, thank you! :)
Of course!
I’ve been studying your work on Instagram for a while. Glad to see you have a RUclips channel 👀
This video was interesing, recently I have been doing alot of kung fu poses and through my experience realized that this side plane was instrumental but didn't understand how to explain it. Thanks for helping clarify some of the haze!🎉
yes!
Thank you very much for your videos, thanks to them I began to understand things that were not given to me before
Foshoooo. Always glad to hear that!
You sorta remind me of a lofi more calm version of ethan becker,
We need to get him up in here!!!
We NEED to get Ethan Becker to "fix" his art!!!
One thing I want to mention is that many people don’t know where to place the nipples. When you’re drawing with a 3D BOD? The nipples actually line up besides or on the side edges of the front plane. They can be a good indicator of where the corners and plane changes on the torso are. And once you got your nipples figured out you can line up almost every feature on the torso.
The algo is picking you up keep up the fire releases bro i can see you blowing up like Pikat did
The ever elusive algorithm. 😂 I'm simply at its mercy.
Damn, dude, this unlocked something for me. The plane change and cross-contour lines are like the missing piece no one talks about with the box/bean method. Gonna go see if you have any videos about drawing hips since they're my biggest struggle right now.
😅 *Adds hips as a topic to my notes...*
Hey really like your videos it’s been very helpful would you one day do a video on how you draw your figures
I like to use a diamond shape to represent the top of the torso.
ts fire bro! What resources/methods have u used to study anatomy? Like the muscles n shi
Honestly, just a lot of different artists on Twitter and IG. Art books and stuff, actual anatomy books of course. From everywhere!
Can i ask some question what is landmarks of back
I try to draw back but I don’t understand it
Hey, when you draw your poses i notice a lot of the heads overlapping hard with the torso and vice versa, granted they are all still great poses I'm just wondering how would you incorporate neck into the poses to make them more dynamic? Ofc you have posed with necks too, sometimes i just wonder how you decide the angle of the head and stuff with necks apparent poses if i want to still include the perspective and overlapping of your "regular" poses?
🤔 I think what determines if the neck is showing in a pose is just the angle of the figure. A lot of the poses I did in this video were from a low angle, so not showing the neck in those poses works, but I don’t think it wouldn’t work if I had drawn the neck. Similarly, in an overhead view the head would be overlapping the head in lots of cases so it would be partially if not completely blocked there as well.
I should do a video on the neck. lol.
@@emiliodekureart i would really appreciate it if you did make one, its one of the most confusing part of anatomy for me. Thanks 🫡
Fellas I'm here to say that I didn't click on this video for the advice, I clicked because of the thighs on the tumbnail
If ur bad at art that means you have a SKILL ISSUE
IM GETTING OFFENDED COMMENTS WITH THIS ONE BOYS💯💯🗣️🗣️
