Ryan man thank you brother. I’ve been releasing some short stories lately and I still try to just soak up all that I can. I love this stuff, love your work, you are one of my hero’s in comics and art in general!
@@ryanbnjmnart I try to best to teach kids the techniques that have brought me the success I’ve had. I think having to put into words what you’re doing makes you think about it in a different light and for me at least helps me grasp the information better ✌🏽🖤
Can you upload some more about drawing the human core and torso Because it's the way Of Teaching me how to use reference Also learning how to draw characters
I quit drawing 2 years ago because of work and I wasn't anything more than an amateur. I still am but I'm trying to learn everything from the beginning. Thank you for spreading your knowledge to aspiring artists, it means the world to us!
@RyanBenjamin thanks brother, I’m a huge fan of the channel, a lot of people keep telling me to study anatomy constantly and everything else which can be definitely helpful but, sometimes I just want to learn how to draw my favorite comic book superheroes and things like that so, thanks to you I can just practice my art skills through just drawing my favorite comic book characters instead and I hope you do more of these guides as well
Very Great Guide! I finally found something on RUclips that I understand. I can't draw at all, but I managed to scribble something with your material. I heard and then also saw in the description of the video about the website with the course, it's brilliant. If I wasn't broke, I would have signed up right away. :( Anyway, thank you for your work, I'm coming back to watch more videos. Regards!
I was confused at first but once u put it into practice, it became more clear. Great tutorial Ryan. Next can u do heads (specifically looking up and down & with more extreme angles)
That is in the works. You will see it soon. Also take Comic Pro Boot Camp if you want to interact with me and three other professional artists to get critiques of your work.
Awesome! Does the program in your gum road have anything on drawing more arms from the sockets and can u do a video on how u do heads with the torso connected?
I remember last year that i accidently bought this course while buying other stuff since im not familliar with the website(it was old website)... Kinda regret at first but after watching all of the video it really makes me feel better because the content are really worth it especially at that price... Hope you can do more course like this.. maybe advance information on inking.. like how you inking on headshot at comicon Also if you read this .. do you have any information about the pencils book.. is it already release or only available exclusively for those who buy comicpro course??
Yes. I target the general area depending on the characters proportions. Slender, thick, feminine, or muscular. Some characters hade certain features that go beyond that, but the core stays the same or in the same general area.
In what moment you stop to use the cilindres and these chapes, as a profesional artist…?. It’s a matter of time and practice….?. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience
I never stop using the cylinders. I just modify it as I go. Part of the strategy is in my head and the other part is on paper(what you see in the video). It's like I am chasing a ball until I catch it. At some point I am so familiar with the chase, I know where the ball is going so I just immediately catch it. This video actually is slow method of how I really draw.
Thankyou for posting this. I have the hardest time making characters in perspective. Straight-on is no problem, but in perspective is very difficult and I haven’t had a good way to divide the figure
Can't believe we live in an age where we can get amazing master classes like this for free.

I think sharing is part of growth. We are all connected and learn from each others experiences.

I just subscribed to your channel after seeing your art demonstration from Proko channel. You are truly phenomenal ❤️
proko made me sub to him too!
I've been looking for an exercise or something that would help me finally make sense of all this proportion stuff and FINALLY I've found it.
You are the best teacher online-- like your vocal directions, could do without the music.
His Gumroad course has this lesson without the music.

Great to hear! Join my next workshop at www.comicprobootcamp.com to get better at your comic art and also get a review of your work.
Yeah I would if I had a job and could afford it but I unfortunately don’t so that won’t be happening
Ryan, you are just a genius. Great teacher.
Thanks :)
Great explanation of how the chest, although connected via the abs, moves independently from the pelvis.

Thank you. More to come.
You are the teacher I've never had but needed, I'm self taught but I have advanced in must a couple of your videos in such a short time💪🔥🔥🔥💙
Been watching your Proko vids for such a long time on repeat I'm so happy you are working on building your own audience! Love it keep it up man!

Great explanation man, keep up the good vids🔥💪
Thank you for the tips!
2nd video and I'm hooked, great place to learn, teacher 👍🏻👍🏻

Yes. I am doing more videos to demonstrate this on how to apply it to many forms including animals and robots.
@@ryanbnjmnart yaaaay!!! Awesome definitely will get that program. This is very helpful thank u!
Great stuff man
thank you
This was super helpful!
You, Jim Lee, David Finch use this action figure construction for torso and pelvis.

Great video
This is great! Do you follow any approximate proportions for the place you subdivide?
Yes. I target the general area depending on the characters proportions. Slender, thick, feminine, or muscular. Some characters hade certain features that go beyond that, but the core stays the same or in the same general area.
